- So for funsies, I decided to do a review of what can basically be considered the father of the beat em up genre in Final Fight. The Capcom game with its super iconic cast of characters both valorous and villainous. In addition to the base game, I decided to throw in a quick look at a variety of the games ports since Final Fight had a lot of censorship as well as fun additions that make most of them unique. So I hope you enjoy this summary of Final Fight.
I stole footage from World of Long Plays so here's the credits.
Amiga 500 Final Fight playthrough provided by longplayer Ironclaw.
Commodore 64 Final Fight Playthough provided by longplayer MadMatty
Final Fight Double Impact Final Fight and Magic Sword playthrough provided by Long Player Digger and Indy

Good stuff! I'm hoping we can get a remake or proper sequel to Final Fight after all these years. If anything, the World Tour mode in SF6 has shown what Capcom can do with a 3D open world beat 'em up!
@@xsplashdashx Same here. With how great streets of rage 4 is, I hope every classic beat em up can get an awesome new game.
6:20 Great reference.
Both the first Final Fight and Streets of Rage are some of my favorite beat'em ups ever.
Haggar is still one of the GOATs too.
Really cool video, man. I thought I was an expert on Final Fight but I didn't know about those shitty PC ports. Not like I wanna try them, but it's still interesting stuff nonetheless. 😂
I'm usually not a fan of remakes, but in the last Capcom survey I voted for some Final Fight stuff even if ends up being just a remake.
Did you ever review the Final Fight fighting game?
I plan on doing final fight revenge at some point. I watched Maximillian dood play it a long time ago and it looked fun. More dreading streetwise if I ever get to it lol
Final fight is so goated I bought Street fighter 6 just so I could play it on my Xbox.
Shit I forgot sf6 has it in an in game arcade cab lol.
I like the GBA version a lot. It's my go to.
Genuinely a very good port tbh. Wish I’d have known about it when I was a kid.
Would you consider double dragon the grandad of beat em ups since it came before final fight
Absolutely.
The Industrial stage and it's music still exist within the ROM file for the SNES version. Suggesting that it was going to be included at some point.

Hmm. Very interesting. Guess they just couldn’t squeeze it all into one cart but props for trying at least.
@@citystatemanticore Will you cover the sequel games ?
@@bouncingbluesoul5270 in time, yeah. I want to do all the final fights and streets of rage too. Looking forward to some. Not looking forward to streetwise lol
