Kyo carried SNK from 94 up to the day Terry was announced as a SSBU DLC. Sakurai's favorite SNK game was KoF 95, and he wanted IORI, but SNK denied and offered Terry instead. Terry is SNK's attempt to win over the USA nerds, he's so relevant and important that his main franchise had been on pause for almost 30 years.
Its sad that Kyo might be the strongest in the KOF series as he wins the most tournaments and defeated, Ryo, Terry, Iori, K and many more and only matched by Ash after stealing Iori's flames yet people still find Terry legendary because of his legacy of fatal fury games. Poor Kyo. I still like his Kyo's character though plus his a top tier character in any kof games his included.

Capcom been taking Max for the wildest ride of his life these past few months. I’m pretty psyched for this one to try out all these legendary fighting games I’ve only heard about. Even Fighting Evolution I’m rather curious to try for the novelty of it.

I lost it when they revealed Power Stone and Power Stone 2. I didn't think they would EVER bring those games back. What a beautiful era to be Capcom fans.
I just posted over on Jwong that just the fact they have Project Justice on here means they finally got the trademark back. It was listed as "abandoned" in 2021 and there had been several filings for both it AND "Rival Schools" since 2013 but Rival Schools is still lost at the moment. My guess is it's easier to get around regulations by using the JP trademark BUT that means a new "Project Justice" is finally possible!

I just posted over on Jwong that just the fact they have Project Justice on here means they finally got the trademark back. It was listed as "abandoned" in 2021 and there had been several filings for both it AND "Rival Schools" since 2013 but Rival Schools is still lost at the moment.
My guess is it's easier to get around regulations by using the JP trademark BUT that means a new "Project Justice" is finally possible!

@@Megaman12Protoman14 Yup. Ono and one of the other guys was talking about it years ago explaining they've been trying to bring it back forever but there were licensing issues preventing it. So I went to research it and lo and behold they were right....
@@Megaman12Protoman14 Well, let me be clearer: I don't know if it was "lost" per se because of that but I do know from my limited experience that if you don't keep your trademarks up to date you will get stripped and then it's sometimes hell and high water to renew. I think Capcom just simply didn't renew it in time.
The arcade stadium series gets around title issues by calling them A.K.A GUN.SMOKE and using the japanese logos.
@@xarphMakes a lot of sense actually! lol What about trademarks and licenses? They can certainly rebrand a title but with IPs they have to file damb near EVERYthing. The title, names of characters, design, each article of clothing including accessories, etc
