Realized I made a few mistakes in the video regarding the cascading, thank you everyone who reached out! Was my first time using the mechanic of cascade thank you!
I recommend adding Amoeboid Changeling and Sliver Overlord! You can tap the changeling to make any of your opponent's creatures into a sliver, then use Sliver Overlord's ability to steal it.
DANG! I didn’t even realize that, what a good combo that is appreciate that my boy fr!
Cascade is a cast trigger. Blinking does not trigger cast triggers
You need to look into Mana Echoes and Training Grounds, especially if you're thinking of getting Sliver Overlord! Also makes Emiel's ability cost only 1 😉👍
Ahhh never thought of that love the cheesy alternatives😉
I just made a sliver deck, i used temur sabrertooth - you use that instead of emiel to bounce bac to hand then cascade again for more mana
Really good alternative tbh!
Thx
the decklist link takes you to the goblin deck you did a few weeks ago
Should be updated now, thank you for the input I completely missed that!
Nice 😮
I think Emiel doesnt work with The First Sliver like you think: Cascade only works with casting… it is not an ETB effect therefore blinking antes sliver would not trigger cascade… since you are not casting it
Ahhh that’s actually right! Thanks for the clarification
Temur sabertooth would be the move in this case
I will use the sliver commander that gives indestructible to all slivers then just fill the deck with board wipes. Hope its good.
I run slivers myself brother expect my commander is overlord. I do respect this deck not bad at all. 👌🏽
Appreicate you homie!🤝🏻
Keep up the good work with your videos.
Even though it’s just for fun.
You never know. 🎉
Appericate that so much man fr! who knows what might come of this
Look at Morophon the boundless
realmwalker too
Wow! #Buying in 3…2…🤑
For the hive.
The hive will live on!🫡
Pay tree arcs bidding
I was going to comment this exactly
Should i put the dliver that gives all slivers defender in my deck or the one that gives phasing?
Too many non-slivers for this cascade to be effective
You’re looking for consistently doing 3 or 4 casts from one big sliver so you can also squeeze in suspend cards like Ancestral Recall and Inevitible Betrayal for some very strong instant card and board advantage
Very true thank you for the advice my friend!!
Thank you for this!!
🤍🤍
Need a lot of fetchlands
Just came across this. I already have a sliver deck with a heavy focus in staying tribal but it's cool to see how other people build their sliver decks. Keeping notes for future ideas/changes
Other great deck tec, looking forward to your next one ( no rush )
Thank you so much brotha! I recently just uploaded a high power najeela deck and I am working towards building a Rograkh / Ardenn equipment partner deck so be on the lookout for that. And thank you for the support!🤍🙏🏼
Can someone explain the cascade to me. If i pop first sliver, do i have to cast the next 4 cmc nonland i expose or can i dig for a selected 4 or less cmc nonland? Also, if i decide to cast another sliver, cascade pops again correct?
Basically if u cast a 4 drop you’d have to find a non land permeant 4 or less, and yes if u have the first sliver out ever sliver spell casting gets cascade
So the cascade rules have changed a bit. When you cast The First Sliver, you will exile the top card of your deck until you find a 4 or less. You may cast this card for free, and cascades ends because the first sliver is on the stack and has not hit the Battlefield yet. You resolve the spell you cascaded into, and then the first sliver resolves and etbs. So you only get 1 cascade of the first sliver. Now the next sliver you cast can cascade into a cascade into cascade as long as the spell you cascade into is a sliver down to zero.
@@ItsGawa_incorrect the first sliver even reads exile until you reveal a nonland card that costs less so 4 your best hit would be a 3
once First Sliver is in play you can cascade a 5-4-3-2-1, but if you're casting First Sliver you just cascade a 4 (since the First Sliver isn't on the battlefield yet so it hasn't given Cascade to the Sliver you're cascading into)
