Love the 19 honestly feel like it is a better aircraft than the 21. If the two had access to the same missiles I would probably never fly the 21. The 19 is much easier to fight with when you can turn and not worry about AoA. Just wish more people saw what I saw about it. Probably the most comfortable to fly plane I own, never had a problem with it and even when I first got it I simply flew it and landed it with that feeling of this should be about right and was fine. Definitely recommend the 19 to my friends all the time.
@@reichenwald-gm4qd Pretty much agree with all of this. It's just such a straight forward plane and not overly quirky where people can figure it out quite fast. BIG FAN
@@Enigma89 Makes me think what a Chinese Q-5 with a nosecone mounted radar would be like. But yes the radar is nice to have in the 21, also I like the navigation and rwr more in the 21 then the 19.
@@Enigma89 All the control surfaces change depending on speed, and altitude automatically. There is a manual override for this allowing you to control how aggressive the surfaces are. Be warned you can do a lot of damage to yourself if you fly with it in manual.
I'm really liking your content it's up there with other great UA-camrs like Der Sheriff and Requiem. Is is it possible you could do a "How To" series on the DCS Cold War server like you did with the Finnish server in IL2 ? After watching that, I enjoy flying on the Finnish server a lot more now. (The English writing inside a Russian jet kinda takes away a bit of the emersion factor)
Thanks for making that comment that is very nice of you. I have thought about making a guide for the Cold War server but there are just so many scenarios, the last time I counted there were 30+. I could try to make it scenario agnostic but some of them are so different it makes it a bit tricky. The other thing holding me back up is that there is a new cold war server in the works so I may make videos for that one when it launches. I lauch the game through steam but i dont see many players on syria map so i did not purchase it and got the mirage instead
This was on Persian Gulf. The Cold War server rotates between Caucuses, Persia and Syria. Syria will be a good buy when it is on sale.

@@TheGranicd The bags will def come off. I am not sure if the missiles will fall off at high speeds but they will def come off at 8.5G+

What VR headset was your friend using? He mentioned he had a spotting advantage, is VR good enough now to make spotting distant targets easier?
I think in this video he had a valve index but you may want to ask him on his stream because I actually don't know for sure.

Radar is useless on the mig19 imo. It is only useful if you engage level bombers at altitude.

All you have to do is update the lua for the skin you want and add the country codes
