Hubby and I went to visit the new HEB . Traffic was crazy, the line just to enter the market was pretty much wrapped around the building. We went around noon or so. We live in Frisco only a few minutes away. We will wait a little while to go back, or maybe when the store first opens in the morning. Either way we are excited for HEB to be our neighbors.
HEB is not welcome in Texas they constantly fight our Texas government and disrespectful members of these charity's even tried to take over the Alamo museum and turn it into a black history museum remember
H.E.B. a Texas Grocery chain store has so called charities and use board members for hijacking other non profit organizations like thay did with the Alamo. UA-camr Steve Lahto explained how this scam works eith (Corn Fest). No surprisingly people often join the Texas government and the Alamo Board to try and sell off items and land often. H.E.B. is not the first to try this.
Going to stay away for a month before I go to this store which is about a mile and a half from my home! The main street had traffic sitting with curious shoppers wanting to check HEB out.
I hope it's better than the one I patronize. My HEB deli and bakery doesn't know how to make good anything. They can't follow a recipe and bake or prep their stuff with consistency. The make deli sandwiches where they needlessly decide that everyone loves hot mustard so that's what's going to be on it, like it or not. They occasionally make "gourmet" brownies but the recipe is different each time but the price is unchanged, so you have to pay the same price for your surprise sucky brownies as you paid last time for really good ones. They don't know how to make old-fashioned plain donuts which are heavy cake and fried extra long to give a thick crispy & greasy crust with NO glazing. All the donuts are air-puff variety smo thered in sugar coats of glazing or icing unless one of the cooks decides that everyone likes to only have a slight mist of glazing just like him/her cuz, you know, everyone is supposed to want the same as me and if they don't, they're wrong. If I do find something that I like, they'll stop making it within days and I'll never see it again. I don't know if they just don't want to sell much product because their store can't handle more customers or if they just never learned how to cook.
They should make one in Mesquite Kaufman. They should make an H-E-B Mesquite Kaufman, Fort Worth, Dallas, Houston, California, California, New York, Miami Chicago that you make another H-E-B they should make H-E-B warm in the world. Make an H-E-B in Elmendorf, Texas or San Antonio Texas in the country
Wow I wanted to see what the hype was about bc people are like just go you'll love it, and watching this I'm thinking yes, like why would I go anywhere else idk 😂 can't wait to actually visit, I hope for a wonderful experience.
We were stationed in Texas (Fort Hood then Fort Sam) and I didn’t get the the cult like hype over HEB. Maybe because we don’t eat massive amounts of barbecue and Tex-Mex I guess? I don’t know. Dare I say we were not impressed with Bucky’s either. Do you have to be a fan of jerky and packaged food to be on the Bucky Board? I just don’t get the fanatical following. The coffee is terrible and the fuel is subpar.
HEB has more food selection than BBQ and TexMex! There’s sushi, great baked foods, an international aisle and a prepared foods section with delicious food.
HEB Open stores around the white suburbs of Dallas tx.... But wont open one in Oak cliff/west Dalllas/Pg Area...Hispanic people in the DFW Boycott HEB...
They don't need to because if you look central market locations are basically where you just described. Which is HEB owned. They're all in south Dallas.
You speaking out of term. Heb is a company. They're gonna do what's best for them to make the most ROI. Give them time. It take a lot of time to build these stores out, and get the infrastructure into place to serve that area. They're gonna get to the whole area in time. They'll build 2-6 stores a year over the next 10-15 years. Once the new distribution center in Temple is complete you'll see them ramp up on building locations all over the metro area.
@@forwardthinkingtrucker exactly. My brother-in-law works for H‑E‑B headquarters and he explained to us why they choose these areas first before they expand. There’s a method behind everything and yes, their main goal, like ever other company, is to thrive and make money! There’s A LOT of H‑E‑Bs serving every class, every race, every demographic, but only where they’re already established. There’s so much risk when going into new cities/areas, especially where the competition is very high. This has absolutely NOTHING to do with racial discrimination and whatnot.

I hate that HEB makes non pork eaters loose out on free turkey is not right to play favorites.
Good design and perhaps it is about the building shop cost. If you need a better solution to build a store, feel free to reach out.
