I have the TSXW that I bought last year, inventory was really scarce then so I had to piece mine together by getting the base, the P310 sparco wheel and fanatec v3s (I play on pc) I can say that for the money I spent I couldn't be any happier. The base itself is extremely quiet, you can't hear anything other than the small cooling fan which is also very quiet. Note, I had purchased a logitech and I returned it in less than 20 minutes of gameplay, that thing is just downright horrible. The P310 wheel is great, it's good quality, the buttons don't feel cheap and the paddles are very quiet since they are not magnetic, it sure does look a lot better than the gran turismo wheel which looks very arcade like. The power delivery of the base is great for the price it is, it's an amazing base to get into the whole sim racing scene without going out of budget and testing out to see if sim racing is something you will do for a long time, rather than buying expensive and just ditching it after a few days of doing test days in ACC. Overall I extremely recommend this base and wheel (not the pedals, those are horrible) for anyone that's looking into sim racing for their first time, it's not expensive it's got great qualities, it's very silent and it performs great. One last thing to add, the SF1000 wheel is absolutely amazing for all it's features and the price, you can't find any other wheel at that price point that looks that nice and with all buttons etc.

I’m exactly in this position! Doubting between getting the TS-PC base with Sparco P310 rim and T-LCM pedals, or spend a little bit more on the CSL DD with CSL pedals with LC, and a nice cheap steering wheel. Fanatec’s base is obviously better, but I would rather go for the Thrustmaster as their ecosystem is cheaper. So, the Thrustmaster DD wheel has to be a good one! I just hope the price isn’t too high, €400 max. for around 6 Nm would be perfect for me!

Good I saw this video now
I am currently on a g29 since august 2020 and I want an upgrade
I was thinking about going all in with a DD wheel and a sturdy rig and all but I dont really know if it is that good for the high prices
I was looking for many options for every bit of kit in the market that isnt stupidly expensive or so hard to get
Now I am not shure what I should do
Should I upgrade to a Thrustmaster t300 or to the TS-PC/TS-XW or maybe even the TGT-2 or should I go with fanatec with the CSL DD and maybe add the boostkit for its whole potential to start things off?
Or should I go deep with a DD from fanatec, simucube, simagic,VRS,moza or even thrustmaster?
If last happens I need to spend good money on the base itself with the extras as: Wheel rims, shifter, pedals, gloves, handbrake, button box,sim rig and so on
I came to a limit for my purchase to 3000 Euros but I would be happy with a less expensive upgrade from my g29 ofc
Or should I wait and have a look whats coming up this year in sim racing and their prices?
    Any recommendations for me?

You can get the CSL DD 5 or 8 nm(I'd recommend 8) and a wheel in the price range of 200-400€ and for the pedals I'd recommend either the v3 from Fanatec or the simforge mark 1(they're not so known but I pulled the trigger and got them instead of the v3 (I'm a beginner too)) or if you really have the money you could go high enough as heusinkveld or some other brands good as well in the price range of 700-800€+. For the handbrake go with the heusinkveld or thrustmaster (I'd go with the heusinkveld) and for the shifter go with either the Fanatec one or vnm shifter which has a better construction in terms of materials used( don't know how they both feeling) and if you want a cheap option for both, go with the shh shifter and Fanatec handbrake:) for the cockpit you can get any aluminium cockpit, that will be enough to handel the CSL DD 8nm or if you want no to upgrade it again for a long time, considering that you'll get a more powerful DD base, then go with the px-1 from simlab and a bucket seat whichever you prefer or for the more cheap option a second hand car seat from ebay :) I'd still recommend a new one if you have the money, a bucket seat from simlab maybe, the blue one looks cool. If manage to still have money after all of this, then buy some monitors (triple setup) or better go for a ultrawide monitor or a tv from LG, Sony or Philips which has 120hz. I personally went with the CSL 8nm and the wheel don't know yet:) either the r320 or r330 from Fanatec with the clubsport v2 hub. For the pedals I went with simforge mark 1 dark edition. Cockpit, I found a not so popular company which names Simforce and they have just a cockpit in their store which I really like it and it will be under 470€ and for the seat I might purchase the gt Omega rs 9 when it will be available which is like 180 I think. No shifter, no handbrake because I don't have the money for it right now ad I'm just getting into it:) I'll be using my 24 inch monitor until I'll buy a gaming tv and already got a powerful PC, should be it :) think good before making the purchase, there are companies that you don't know about and may like what they offering, no need to spend a lot of money on the most popular items if you can find something cheaper that you like it more:)

I just got the TS XW Bundle and I've been quite please with it. However it does something really weird from time to time and I just need to know if it's part of the game or the wheel screwing up.
What happens is I'm driving along with my hands at 3 and 9 o'clock in a straight line and all of a sudden the wheel cocks to the right so that my hands are at more like 5 and 11 o'clock and that is my new center. Now it never starts at that way and I've always had a few wrecks as I'm quite new to the racing game. But it just happens right out of the blue. And if I stop the game and unplug the USB Cable and plug it back in. It will do it's centering routine again and it's back to normal. So is it the game doing it, or is the wheel just doing it on it's own? I still really like the wheelbase. But I'd prefer it not do that weird centering thing if I can get it to stop.

In my scenario, the TS-XW is the best choice and here´s why.
Thrustmaster ( and logitech ) in my country has a solid retail chain , and all the ecosystem can be found on retails and stores across the country. The TS-XW can be find on store for about R$ 5.000 . This includes the wheel and a T3PA pedal set. A ready to go package. In comparison, if you decide to go with a DD wheel ( and it has to be imported ) , the DD Base with 5 nm, can be found for about R$ 5.500 / 6.000. If you add wheel ( + 2.000 ) and a pedal set ( + 3000 ) . We are talking about a 11.000 investment to get it started. So yes, it is a belt driven system, its 5 years old piece of tech and it´s falling behing competition technically wise. But in certain scenarios, and situations, there´s not even a comparison to be made.
Here in my country is simple: Do you want to spend 5.000 bucks in a belt driven 6 nm wheel or 11.000 bucks in a DD 5nm system? It is a matter of price, plain and simple.
With R$ 11.000 bucks i can get thrustmaster´s shifter, addon wheels, handbrakes and a lot more. With R$ 11.000 i can only get all basic level entry DD hardware from fanatec.

I mentioned this in an older video but doesn't seem you've seen it; the flagship of Thrustmaster is the T-GT which was slightly upgraded with the T-GT ii a few months ago. In essence is the same as the TS-PC or XW but with a few added features and works on PS4/PS5 and PC. Looks quite similar to the fanatic bundle too, which is not surprising considering both of them are officially a GT sports bundle.

Not in any way, in my opinion. But even I'll admit it's time for them to make a stand on firmware and user happiness. Even if the time hasn't yet arrived to chase hardware, it is getting close. In the meantime, however, adding new features and quality fixes to their existing products could go a very long way to securing their spot until the whole hardware market advances calm down. I'd suggest that one of these companies is going to dedicate themselves to making every aspect of their existing ecosystems work better than anyone else's. After the constant booms of advancement in hardware calms down, THEN start releasing new hardware, while having solidified a loyal customer base through "service after sale" tactics, firmware updates, and fitting their ecosystems into the more affordable markets (like consoles) in ways everyone else is just skipping past. I think whoever does that will eventually control a very large part of this market.
