Your videos are amazing. You’re such a great story teller and you have an amazing style with your cinematography. I am glad I have found your channel. The stories. The running. The honestly and vulnerability. And of course, the beer. It’s great stuff - thank you for making the videos that you make. Finally, congratulations to the two of you - just fantastic!
Congratulations to you both. Bucket list checked and new item add return to Chamonix and UTMB. I told my wife looks it looked on tracker like you were struggling early but, Man, you turned that around. Wow. Great mental resilience and faith in your body.
It's been a pleasure to follow your journey to and around UTMB and delighted you and Sarah had results to be proud of. Look forward to more videos from down under when you're back in the mood for making them.
Love this! And so good hearing about Sarah's run too - those conditions look epic. Love your videos Luke, congrats to you and Sarah, UTMB what a dream. And thanks for sharing all your trail tales!! Been following your vids since your prep for UTA last year, hope to join a bush toddle with ya one day and a frothy after
Congrats Luke. Sub 30 is awesome. It certainly was a testing course. I decided to dnf at Courmayeur with blown quads. I'll go back again to try the CCC next time.
Such an awesome job dude! Been fantastic to watch your journey to the big dance! I've been watching all your videos as inspiration for the Kosci Miler. Thanks for putting so much effort into making amazing content. Love it!!
Hats off ang congratulations to both of you! You guys did an amazing job! I really ove the videos, making me feel like I’m there running with you! Thank you for making us part of you journey! All the best! Hope to meet you some day personally down the Gong! Stay strong!💪🏼
Great work Luke, well done! I've really enjoyed following you over the last few months and it was brilliant to see you get through UTMB healthy and smiling. Please don't tell me that two of those little clips in the race involved you going up the trail, leaving the camera and running back passed it again?! Happy trails, Jeremy
Congratulations luke. Was following along in between power naps and it looked like you got your grove going given all the green updates the app was spitting out, but see it wasn't exactly your day (making your result all the more impressive). And Wowee sarah. I suppose that makes sarah the winner? 😂.
Absolutely incredible dude! Huge shout out to Sarah for that epic run, hope she runs again soon🤣. Sub 30 hours My man that superb!! Really well done. Dropped a Sub to your channel too. 🤙
Hi Luke, Norda 002 look good for more speed, shorter runs. Also, the 003 are being released this Autumn which are more of a recovery type shoe. Be good to here your thoughts on the 001's though. Happy running!
Dude brilliant content, nicely edited. I have a feeling your subs are going to take off big time, good luck with the channel. What camera are you using?
@@lukewbarrett ah nice, I thought it might be something of that calibre. My budget only reaches to my ZV-E10 for the time being.. I’ve my eye on an E1 🤘🏻
Sugar is the most readily available energy source - so long as your guts can handle it. I worked diligently on training my guys for exactly that and executed my nutrition plan exceptionally well. No GI distress whatsoever! 120g carbs / hour is about as good as it gets IMO. So if it ain’t broke don’t fix it! I suspect adding real food into the mix could have derailed things (although was my backup plan), but everyone is different.
Lovely production 👍
Thanks so much man!

I told my wife looks it looked on tracker like you were struggling early but, Man, you turned that around. Wow. Great mental resilience and faith in your body.
Haha yeah thanks. The plan was to start slow, but that was a little extreme 😂. Happy to salvage a respectable time in the end.
Huge effort guys!
Thanks mate. What a bloody wild place!

Incredibly proud of both Sarah and you. You both crushed it! No video of the shoey???
We shall never speak of shoey again. 🙄
Congrats Luke. Sub 30 is awesome. It certainly was a testing course. I decided to dnf at Courmayeur with blown quads. I'll go back again to try the CCC next time.
Thanks! Yeah the course is no joke. I suspect CCC not much easier though!
Such an awesome job dude! Been fantastic to watch your journey to the big dance! I've been watching all your videos as inspiration for the Kosci Miler. Thanks for putting so much effort into making amazing content. Love it!!
Ah thanks so much. Good luck down in Kosci - looks like a fun course this year!

Thanks mate! Haha no, no such content capturing antics were had during the race. Ripped some footage from the UTMB race cams for those shots!
We saw your results and man - good on you! 🎉
And 👏🏽👏🏽 to Sarah!
Awesome! Thank you!
Sarah crushed so good!
Congratulations Luke, on pushing through after early struggles. What an experience 🏃⛰️💪👍
Thanks! Took me by surprise suffering so early, but a good test none the less. 🙏
Congrats man! Breaking 30 is huge!
Thanks! I’ll take it for a first attempt.
Hell yeah man!! Congrats on the awesome run AND also the dedication to the huge training block beforehand (THE REAL GRIND)
Thanks mate! Full time running in the alps isn’t all bad though 😂
Congratulations luke. Was following along in between power naps and it looked like you got your grove going given all the green updates the app was spitting out, but see it wasn't exactly your day (making your result all the more impressive). And Wowee sarah. I suppose that makes sarah the winner? 😂.
Haha thanks Peter. Less than idea start, but it made for good progress through the field that’s for sure.
Absolutely incredible dude! Huge shout out to Sarah for that epic run, hope she runs again soon🤣. Sub 30 hours My man that superb!! Really well done. Dropped a Sub to your channel too. 🤙
Sick! Thanks mate! Sarah dusted off the sneakers this morning actually. Back at it!
Awesome running from you both 👏 I see you didn't run in Hoka's... what shoes did you run in? Enjoy your rest you guy's.
Thanks! I upgraded to Norda’s early on in the trip. Better in every way.
Hi Luke, Norda 002 look good for more speed, shorter runs. Also, the 003 are being released this Autumn which are more of a recovery type shoe. Be good to here your thoughts on the 001's though. Happy running!
Woah! 003 rumours! Where are you getting this intel from? I’ll start working on a review soon. Spoiler alert - they’re so sick!
sub 30 - Epic !
Cheers!
Dude brilliant content, nicely edited. I have a feeling your subs are going to take off big time, good luck with the channel. What camera are you using?
Thanks mate! Sony ZVE1 for my main camera, then a small selection of action cams and a drone do the rest.
@@lukewbarrett ah nice, I thought it might be something of that calibre. My budget only reaches to my ZV-E10 for the time being.. I’ve my eye on an E1 🤘🏻
Believe in the run on UA-cam did a podcast with the owners of Norda.
Amazing. Thanks!
Great run LUKE! What camera where you using in the race to film yourself?
Thanks! I have a DJI action 2, but there also also some Insta 360, Sony, and low res UTMB checkpoint cams thrown in the mix there too.
Norda 001 trail shoes. How were they on race day?
So sick! I’ll do a full review on them soon, but no regrets with my shoe choice.
No footage of the beer drinking from the shoe at finish line?
I don’t have many regrets in life…
was there a reason why you didnt have any real food?? surely you couldve done a bit better than just on straight sugar and caffiene

You finished so strong, I bet nobody had to help you shower, then spoon feed you and tuck you into bed…
Nobody that wasn’t thrilled at the opportunity…
@@lukewbarrett yea, she’s a bit of a perv like that
You lost me at nipple rings

Well done mate.. so good to share the climb and km with you !!! congrats again !!
Yeah dude! Likewise. You guys definitely helped me up that last climb. Nice to bring it home with you. 🤙
