Another great video with on point editing 👌 I wasn't a fan of Walmsley either, but I'm beginning to like him more and more...and it seems like he's another coffee connoisseur 😉🙌
Agree, great editing on this one Luke. Enjoy the 'down' time. Sometimes good to back off the 'focus' a tad. I met Jim W in Silverton at Hardrock in 2016. As you say just a regular bloke, he was super friendly and chatty. Was about to embark on his first UTMB from memory that year. Certainly plied his craft at that race over the years.
Had the exact same feelings on JW until this UTMB series wahoo started. The opposite with races - busiest my calendars ever been - hoping it’s produces the goods! UTS50 this weekend - gotta bag me some chamonix stones!
Hey Luke, I'm sitting in a similar boat right now, no race on the agenda until Grampians in November (any tips?). I am trying to get some more gym work in but it is such a grind compared to the feeling of sweating outdoors on a run. Anyways, just wanted to say i really enjoy your videos they are very relatable to me, albeit im nowhere near as good of a runner
Gramps! So sick! Maybe I’ll see you there 🤔 Lots of technical single trail. The first 50 is hard, second 50 is harder (also through the night), and then the last 60 of a miler is always hard so yeah, it’s a hard one! Bloody incredible course though. If find that once I’m consistent enough in the gym, I’m no where near as sore and the endorphin release is actually super nice. Plus the gainz! Thanks for the nice words too. Happy lifting! 🏋️♂️
Really enjoyed the editing in this video, makes for a good watch!
Ah thanks so much!

Thanks so much. A friend of coffee is a friend of mine!

Thanks so much man! I guess we’re all just regular people really… 💪
Getting the strength on 💪🏼
Bulk phase 😂

The stone hunt! How fun. My brothers racing UTS50 too! What a wild course. Good luck. Hopefully the weather gods are kind.
*sigh* time to suck it up and go back to N/A beer for the next 3 months (mostly).
Hahaha exactly how I feel!
Use the time to also incorporate foot strengthening exercises. They will help you throw away those orthotics! Just as important as any other leg work.
All over it Julie Steele 🙏
