The best UTMB video I have ever seen (I saw hundreds of them). Nobody shows the night part of the race. I saw aid stations I had never seen before. On top of that you share the runners feelings and the way they face this monster race. You never run alone. Good job; good race!
Marcus, you are such a beast! For the second time you are sharing unique insight into the mid-pack and I cannot be more glad that you decided to do that! Big inspiration for a lot of us, thats for sure. I hope you have great success in next big challenges! Thank you.
WOWWWW Marcus I can't thank you enough for this outstanding coverage!! But most of all huge huge huge CONGRATS on your phenomenal courageous performance!! Many of us were absolutely glued to the live stream, constantly commenting in the chat how in awe we were of those of you out there for not one but TWO nights , and then to face that endless climb up to La Flégère , our hearts were with you all!!! THANK YOU so much for taking us along on your epic journey!!! 🙏🏻💪🏻🏃♂💪🏻🙏🏻
It’s emotional to watch this. I’m The guy at 2:50. Great to meet you. I managed to finish but it took me 45:58. So hard. What a video! You are fast amigo. I’m still not 100%, physically or mentally. Thank you for sharing this.
Marcus, I having followed your UTMB journey through live tracking, I eagerly awaited this video - and it did not disappoint. Your unique format of capturing the race and interactions with fellow runners adds a touch of humanity that’s truly inspiring. Even though I’ve never run an ultra trail, your videos ignite a fire within me to one day accomplish such a feat. Thank you for sharing your journey and being a source of motivation for many like me. Keep it up!
I did this race too (bib 2559) and you perfectly captured how I felt at many points - in particular on the section to Bonhomme with the well chosen music. Thank you!
Marcus, your videos are outstanding, and this one is the best of the best. Dot-watching your race was inspiring, and to follow up with this informative, beautifull film gave such deep context. The way you show the way forward will give such a lot of help to future runners, and your willingness to share how you cope as a Type 1 diabetic will give hope to many with all sorts of challenges. Thanks for your honesty, humor and courage. And ‘Tusen takk’ from this Canadian/UK/former Oslo-based ultra runner. I hope to follow your example and get to Chamonix to race - some way!
Perhaps I am a bit late to the party but I would like to thank you for your videos Marcus. You are one of the only ones that shows how a big mountain ultra is without the additional drama or inspirational quotes. Not that I dislike other movies but this is how an ultra for most people is. Just run/hike, have a chat with fellow runners and enjoy the mountains and scenery. That in itself is inspirational enough for me. Thank you!
Thanks. Just finished Snowdonia. That was one long hike where I met many new friends on the trail. It was the most brutal but beautiful mountain race I have ever done
The best movie from the inside i ever seen. BRAVOOO. I was also "from the party" on the CCC. Great Job, Thanks for your film, your good vibes and congrats for your UTMB !!!
Thank you for sharing your journey, an amazing race, your strength, your commitment, and your engagement with the other runners is inspiring. Congratulations on another finish.
Great stuff, Marcus! As an aspiring ultra runner and parent to a child with t1d I find your content particularly interesting. Thank you so much and congrats to the UTMB finish!
Yet again as was last year a fantastic video and such an easy watch 50 minutes goes by so quickly. Deserving of many more subscribers, I look forward to watching again next year!
Thanks Markus for sharing this video, it's amazing! I ran this UTMB, too, and more or less had your timetable until Bertone. Then I lost a lot of time due to stomach pain, and I had a long rest in Arnouvaz and La Fouly. After that, I was able to recover, and had a pretty good section from Champex to the finish line, but with more than 43 hours. I was super happy! Many compliments for your race
What an amazing report. I'm gonna try to compete in next years event. This video is a huge inspiration and helps a lot! Congratulations on your great performance!
What a super performance! Once again a top video Marcus! Your videos are for me total relaxation, incredible inspiration for body and soul and at the same time a sign for human cohesion and community among each other! Ambition and joy in life are incredibly important!
your video tell the most realest story of UTMB ever and ever. All things of 99% runners there actually must experience and overcome when going UTMB, not the beautiful livestream of Jim and Zach on social media.
Thanks so much for sharing this, and I love hearing from all the random runners around you - their stories are just as important and interesting as the winners'.
Massive performance as last year....you are so inspiring, you are epitomizing the ultra racer and simply epitomizing a true and sincere person. Beautifuly produced as well like a pro production...
Tusind tak 🙏 thanks so much for the great video and the video from last year was superb too-helped me to get an idea what is waiting for me this year! I was running too, finished sub 41 hours,I really agree about the section from Vallorcine to La Flegere, brutal -so close, but still far away... I really enjoy your running videos! Thanks, tak,I guess see you at Kullamannen!
Hi Marcus - I was looking forward to this video and really needed it. I have a 50k tomorrow and was really feeling lazy and doubtful. I do not anymore. I will think of you tomorrow during my race. The people you interview, your friends, and the support of your family make your videos so good. They really teach me things. thx again Marcus! Keep up the great work.
Brilliant film of your epic race and a fantastic time.... Bravo! I managed to finish the TDS this year and the CCC in 2019. Did you get good views on the first half of the race? Your second half that I remember from the CCC looked great! Everybody says the TDS is wilder route, but would like to know if the first half of the UTMB course is as beautifull as the second half CCC I did? Well done, fantastic effort!
Genial felicitaciones vi todo el vídeo y sentí la misma emoción,dolor , sufrimiento, alegría y un gran orgullo al terminar este demandante reto ,saludos desde México
Thanks for describing the race in such a realistic way. When I watched the video ir felt like I was in the race again. So professional ! And congrats for finishing the race , weĺl done !👏🏃♂️💪
Grymt jävla bra jobbat! Och så bra dokumenterat, uppskattar att du pratar om både det positiva och negativa under loppets gång. Och vilka vyer! Hoppas att jag får uppleva det själv någon gång.
First. Congrats for your finish. You got great work. Second. I appreciate your this year video. Third. Where are the cows? ^^. I miss the cows in last year video. ( I watched your last year video 3 times. Very impressive) Bouna fortuna. Marcus. From South korea.
WOW!! Phenomenal job! Your race seemed more difficult this go 'round but you powered through it! Congratulations on the sub 40! I will be thinking about you and all those incredible athletes when I run my first dinky little half marathon next week! 😅
Really enjoyable perspective here 😊 A lot of nice little details (shit happens, typical dress of Peru, a little bit more pasta please,...) I like all the different impressions of nature, people, statistics, and the mind game 💪 Thanks for your effort and this nice documentary!
Congrats Luke. Very brutal technical course. I did a fast backpack from the start to Borough Huts 90 plus kms and copped some interesting weather. I agree. I think it’ll grow in popularity. Congratulations on a great run, and an excellent time. We must have been close for much of the race; we entered Champex at almost exactly the same time. Loved reliving the experience through your video. Thanks.
What an effort. Great job. Seen most of your vdos. You're truly inspiring. May i know what other camera aside from the dji pocket did you use to film this run. I'm new to ultra trails, will be doing the HK100 next year.
way to go Marcus! Thanks for the video, is very inspiring and very helpful, i'm training for 2025's utmb and found what you shared, invaluable. Regards, Hernan

I agree. I think it’ll grow in popularity.
Mate, I wanted to ask what do you edit your footage on? PC? And what software?
I only have used the GoPro App on my phone but it’s limited.
Would like to create better content.
Any chance you’d consider Kosciusko Miler in the future.
