when its courtney's best day in an ultra, that is the equivalent of the worst day for other women in the competition...
when its courtney's WORST day in an ultra, that is the equivalent of the GOOD day for other women in the competition...
i mean, i could have said BETTER day for other women, but damn, courtney is of different level..
mathieu blanchard sad face says it all at the end of this race... twas an opportunity to be at the top, having been 3rd and 2nd consecutively..
gotta admit, seeing zach passing jim in the live-updates brings back "here goes jim blowing up yet again" thinking, and when granger caught up with jim, the thought did really sink in, UTMB maybe is not for jim... then the tide turns around...
What am I doing here? Why do I do this to myself?
