Thankyouu sooo much. My brand new VW golf life was stuck in reverse and no matter how many times i tried to put it in gear it kept moving in reverse. I tried your method and it moved forward, i guess it was stuck in reverse and you helped me reset the gearbox. Will be saving this video to my favourites now.
How did you know that it worked besides obviously witnessing it physically yourself? Did it say anything different on the dashboard?

Your car is dual clutch. One clutch falk hydraulic pressure is a bit low
I did that several times and the feeling i have is that there is a slowest set up, and a little bit faster.
Does this work with the start button also?

Hi I have a dsg 7 speed dry clutch in my golf plus TSI 1.4 2010. Sometimes from standstill selecting D it can delay or miss selecting first gear or even reverse gear. Not an issue any other time and again it is intermittent. Can this reset fix this problem?

Haii I have an issue in my VW golf . After replace mechatronic ( by from eBay) vehicle moving only reverse at all gear liver position. Fault coming p1895, p073b and p073a.

I got a Vw golf 6 gti dsg,Gears are god no flashing spanner on a gear but when approaching traffic the car is jerking on low gears,but wen traffic clears than again it drives Smooth..can anyone please help

I tried this to my scala 1.0 dsg 2022 and nothing happened. Does that mean that the dsg was good or reset does not work on new cars? I tried it because I hear clunking on bumps when driving very slow and coasting, and shifting from 2 to 1 is jerky.

mk5 r32 2006 - so my car has been jolting aggressively in and out of 1st gear and 2nd slightly. i have recently had the dsg serviced by a autobox specialist for peace of mind as ive only had the car 2 months. was running fine untill yesterday the jolting of gears happened, i tried this reset just 30mins ago and drove the car for 5mins, seemed to be ok and jolting of gears has gone. I hope it has permanentlt fixed my problem, otherwise im looking at mechatronic repairs i think. Thanks for the video ❤

@@paris7316 nope my dsg has been fine since (touch wood), i recently installed the powerflex dogbone mount insert and that has changed the car. hardly any idle vibration, increased throttle response and smoother gear shifts. well worth the £40 👌

My DQ 200 vibrate on second gear, this happens when the car is warm and no fault code on dashboard .. any suggestions?
HI if the mileage is over 80k could be the dsg clutch. or a very light dsg pressure leak. top up 200ml dsg green colour oil and reset the gearbox. may help. thanks

Mine does the same did you manage to fix it?
Fill 200ml hydraulic oil ( green colour oil)
And do a basic setting. Might help if the problem is related to the mechatronic hydraulic
@@mubi998 unfortunately nothing happens, people saying many thanks but I believe even if I replaced the gear with a new one the problem will return back after few months.
It's problem in the gear production not something else.

This does not reset the dsg transmission.
This method resets the throttle body.
My dsg gear box drives well from 1st gear to 5th and problem only comes when It has to go to 6. Its starts flash on the dash board the gears and doesn't move anymore
