You didn’t flush the ABS module, valves or it’s pressure accumulator?
For the camber bolt that looks like a socket wont fit, you might be stuck using an end (or box) wrench. I did my rear sway bar and end links and ended up having to do that for the nuts at the end link/swaybar interface. Really tedius. If you do a lot of that, it helps to grind down a wrench on the open side, just take a little meat off the lobes to get a little more throw.
Great video! Will use this the next time my fluid needs changed.
What is your tire size?
265/40/18
Did you have any difficulty putting the CTA 7030 cap on the master cylinder? I have a 2022 Civic Si and the cap is very difficult to put on and take back off.
It’s a bit tight, that’s normal
So the bleed procedure is different 😮
Where do you get the service manual for the 2018-2022 Accord?
Thanks for the informative video!
Don’t have a service manual, just info off forums!
Your videos are very educational ❤️
I just tried this on my accord but the motive power bleeder is losing pressure i hear the air leak by the master cylinder
The hose fitting on the adapter cap may not be sealed properly. I'd recommend using some permatex around it to seal any small pinhole gaps
Wow, that makes it so much easier to change the brake fluid. Also will this power bleeder push out air from the ABS module and What size brake reservoir did you get?
Yep! This should push it through ABS as well. The reservoir cap I used is linked in the description 🙂
Hey I saw on one of your older videos you were running the mishimoto inlet and I want to run the same one but I don’t know what inlet tube to get that connects the mishimoto box to the mishimoto fk8 inlet. Also what did you do with the vacuum line that goes into the oem inlet
For the tube that connects the box to the inlet pipe I used this: prlmotorsports.com/products/2018-honda-accord-2-0t-intake-conversion-hose?_pos=6&_sid=d34835b48&_ss=r&variant=41888024494273 (Specifically the TIP to HVI version)
For the vacuum lines, I used this kit and it redos all of it: prlmotorsports.com/products/2018-honda-accord-2-0t-turbocharger-swap-inlet-pipe-installation-kit?_pos=11&_fid=9ed6c642a&_ss=c
do you think the 3” thermal r&d exhaust is better than the older one? I can’t decide which to get 😞
They both sound about the same and performance is negligible on turbo cars, it’ll come down to if you want the quad tips of the 3 inch or not
Good video. I definitely did not do the e brake procedure the last two times I did it. Hope my car is still good. Camber kit is a bit easier on passengers side but honestly imma just pay someone to do my drivers. I can’t be bothered.
It's not necessary.
@@BarImpero The camber kit or the e-brake procedure?
You used more than a liter?
Just under, I poured in more than a liter, but once all 4 were done I had a decent bit of fluid left
how did you power your melody box? did you need an adapter and which did you choose stock v4 or v4 + power only cable?
I used a cable that’s plugged into my center console
@@Qiu_Media didnt need the adapter? 12v to 5v
@@WhataTofu For the melody box, nope
For the Motive Power bleeder did you buy any special adapter to fit on the brake fluid reservoir
Yep, first link in the description for the Honda specific one!
@@Qiu_Media thanks fam I appreciate you
I just noticed the adapter you have on the link is for a model 3 Tesla ? Would that be the one for the accord?
@@MoeLester93 strange, looks like they got rid of it. I updated the link to one that's available!
