I can remember finding quite a bit of trash from the rafters etc on the Kern in the fall. Whole abandoned blow-up rafts were sometimes hanging from a tree branch. I'm sure it got busy in the summer months there out of Kernville..probally sold a lot of beer! Lol
They've been a lot better in the last few years, but then again they've had really short seasons. I usually find tons of paddles when I'm out and I just pile them up at the put-in locations.

Yeah, it's one of my favorite destinations in winter. Johnsondale bridge on up is usually pretty good.
