About the mammoths: yes, the project Colossal is working for almost a decade now to bring the mammoths back to Help the Siberian environment. Surprisingly they are doing some pretty good progress with that. The Project has also recently got the Funds to start bringing Back the thylacine

For ceratopsian biomes: Pachyrhino should be the plains specialist or at least prefer open areas where like bison they roam in large herds and have the room to utilize their better maneuverability and see threats coming to form a defense. You want faster animals to have the room to do their thing and I can see Pachyrhino being the fastest ceratopsian in the roster. Trike should be the forest dweller, living solo or in small groups browsing rather than grazing. Not only would this more closely match the biome of real life Trikes, solitary animals would prefer the forests.
Pachyrhino would be probably the most fun ceratopsian compared to trike. Styracho is just going to be kentro but for trike and pachyrhino could be the best pachy incorporating bleed and bone break
I really wish that more Dinosaur Survival games focused on... survival? Trust me, this goes somewhere. I wish more than anything The Isle had seasonal changes and that the environment was effected by this in turn effecting a lot of the creatures. This would be a great way to balance certain creatures like Rex who, you know is gonna be a majority of the player community. Having creatures get advantages and disadvantages during certain seasons is a great way to lessen the blow of roaster bloat and limit the use of Apex creatures all the time. I think if this idea was taken on board, Pachyrhinosaurus would be one of those few who aren't really effected. There seems to be a lot of Pachyrhinosaurus art that depicts them with a downy fur hide which I think could make it into The Isle should seasons ever be introduced. In the warmer seasons Pachyrhinosaurus is completely scaled but as it grows colder, you have to have at least 50% diet completion in order to grow your fur that will keep you warm during winter; if you don't do this your over all health and stamina are lessened and the certain foods that make up some of your diet are out of season so, you're stuck at the insufficient diet completion. Pachyrhinosaurus would be a generalist who doesn't become super viable during one season but can survive relatively well amongst them all. Compared to something like Trike who would probably only excel during the summer.
This would be a huge change and I really see this going somewhere however, snow could be a huge development project being that if the water freezes deinos would be almost unplayable, however I could see in more mountainous regions that sbow could be a possibility because it would be more inhabited by more furry creatures like the mammoth and other mammals like the snowy rhino. Frozen ponds could be cool because most animals that would live there would have to move water sources constantly so it would be a meeting place of herbivores and carnivores to see the other animals in the area butt keep them from stay due to the freezing weather that could be like a snow storm. if each pond froze at a different time/ temperature. This would also keep more laid back people away so you cant just sit in a Bush to grow and just walk two mins to get water, I think this is an amazing idea you have and i hope to see this in game
I would love pachy and alberta to be rivals, it would be just like the walking with dinosaurs movie (alberta and gorgo were basically the same thing apart from a few minor differences, kinda like rex and tarbo).
@@lbrett7054 Albertosaurus sarcophagus and Pachyrhinosaurus canadensis existed in the same place during the same time. Meaning they likely had a natural predator prey relationship. Gorgosaurus did not exist with Pachyrhinosaurus.
Pachyrhino and Ankylo will be the bone breaking herbivore duo. P.D: if they keep adding dinos to the game, i wish they would be all unique in gameplay and niche (Lurdusaurus, Megalosaurus, Ornitholestes and Eustreptospondylus) instead of ending like Path of Titans having a dino and its knock-off
My idea for pachy dealing with apexes is that it is SLIGHTLY faster than each of the apexes, and like the pachy vs carno matchup, it can defend itself against all of them. While it is an angry dude like pachy, it will use its speed to escape the apexes. I also think future pachyrhinosaurus mains should stick close to forests, as they will have an easy time evading it’s predators in the trees if, say, there are more than one t.rex or giga involved. I love this video though. My idea for it combined with your ideas could see pachyrhino and all the other ceratopsians being unique. Against anything smaller than an acro, it won’t hesitate to beat the shit out of.
Just the idea of blunt damage and possible bone break alone makes this less bloaty having a unique niche as a bulky bonebreak dino that rather than defensive like Anky goes for speed and power. Pachyrhinosaurus is unique among not just among ceratopsians but dinosaurs in general as it had a large shoulder hump for muscles, a trait more often associated with mammals like bison and grizzly bears. Not even the Trike has a shoulder hump, meaning any charge attacks from Pachyrhino would have a lot more power and impact than its size suggests, being able to possibly even give Apex carnivores pause as they don't want a leg fracture. It may lack the bulk to take many hits like a Trike, but like old school Dibble Pachyrhino could feasibly hold its own against Apexes especially in herds which we have evidence of living in large herds unlike Trikes which were mostly solitary. Far from contributing to bloat Packyrhino is the best ceratopsian addition to the Isle after the Trike and could usurp it as the most viable ceratopsian.

I never knew that Pachyrhino, Styraco and Cory were planned for the game granted it may take awhile to see them but I especially love Pachyrhino and Styraco as they're some of my most favorite dinos and I love your ideas and how much you fleshed them out too

A cool idea I had for pachyrhino is being able to knockdown trees and eat the leaves thar normally only sauropods can reach similar to modern-day elephants. Pachyrhino can also use this offensively, if a tree falls on a dino below a certain weight, it crushes it and kills it.
Only problem with pachyrhino is that with the release of Diablo and trike on the way in the next couples months it would get kinda repetitive to add ceratopsian after ceratopsian so I think they should add it maybe 2-3 updates later alongside something like acro or Alberto, something like that
6:20 The logic that they can help prevent the climate change of the team that is trying to revive them is that they are both granimivores eating large amounts of grass covered in snow and the Mammoth also like elephants helps to pull and move old trees which helps the ecosystem in general And what could help combat climate change is that in winter the methane in the soil begins to concentrate below the snow and in summer everything is released at the same time making a greater impact on the atmosphere while if there are animals like the Mammoth that throughout the winter are always removing the snow to be able to eat the grass that methane would come out little by little

I imagine pachycephhlosaurus is the bone breaker, while pachyrhinosaurus is the body breaker. For example, if pachycephhlosaurus headbutts a carnos leg, part of the leg breaks. But if a pachyrhino charges and hits a carnos leg the entire leg is shattered, and the carno can’t run. And a new idea for a mechanic with pachyrhino is if a pachyrhino hits something with either a headbutt or charge in the ribs, the animal on the receiving ends ribs would shatter, and maybe a rib would puncture a lung, which could become a mechanic that makes the animals stamina drain much faster because the animal can’t catch their breath.

Got an issue with Proto cutting. Proto has those strong jaws, I think it will be an absolute minefield out there with Proto, while Ava feels like a big boar. Proto should stay. And Velo is our lad to handle it.
Even if Pachyrhino doesnt get added as its own creature theres still a good chance we see it in game. I`m pretty sure skin DLC`s have been confirmed for evrimas future and there is actually an old pachyrhino model in the isle devkit so even if we dont see it as its own feature, we may see it as a diablo or even trike DLC which is awesome. I love the idea of the pachy-alberto rivalry since alberta is getting a huge rework and pachy is the perfect prey for it to hunt.

My comment is not connected to the video but to a recent been yesterday discord discussion you had that you did mention that pachy needs a buff bc it takes 5 hits to kill a utah so I'd like to point out how fast pachy is similar to Utah and with one hit you knock out the Utah and technically get a second hit for free so in a sense you technically need to worry only about 3 out of the 5 hits which again aren't hard to pull concidering that not every Utah is nappn plus keep in mind that pachy doesn't have a knife on top of his head so realistically yes he'd be doing dmg but not a dmg a claw or sharp teeth will do so in all honesty I think pachy is good where he's at when comes to his strength.
avaceratops would absolutely mince you up, bladed weapons or not, avaceratops is about the size of a Spanish fighting bull at 320kg in weight (although if specimen MOR 692 is infact an ava, it would bump the species up to a max of 1 tonne, the size of a cape buffalo) , but due to being closer to the ground with more robust proportions would be even sturdier and more powerful, it would be upon you in an instant just like a bull or a wild boar, there would be little time for you to react, but unlike a bull an avaceratops skull is very thick and their crest completely denies hand/weapon access to the neck, one bite would completely sever what ever it bit onto and its horns would easily gore you, bladed weapons would meet the thick, dense bone of the head and most likely be diverted either by the ava's tough skull or by its horns, you wouldn't get a second attempt with a bladed weapon, because the ava would maul you after a failed attempt, an ava's neck is also far to thick to get your arm around to headlock it, its neck would be thicker than your torso and being the holder of the main muscles that allow ava to carry its frill and use its horns for defence, would be incredibly strong

I did ask if pachyrhino could do go bipedal in any regard, whether for a headbutt or a stomp, (I wanted it in PH) and no, they're too front heavy, which is upsetting but makes sense.
@@Orni-Mega-Lonyx yea, I did ask in ornithischia, I was told that in basically no circumstances could they go bipedal, even for a short time. Like a front leg hop they could do but nothing beyond that.

I think it’s unlikely we will see pachyrhino like that in game. It’s simply too similar to Pachy. Right now all of the Dino’s fill very specific niches and very very rarely clash with each other for being too similar. I don’t think the devs want to risk dividing the pachy community as there is already not many of them.

they should honestly remove diabloceratops and avaceratops from the roster. styracosaurus is going to be better than dibble in every way and looking from the concept art, the dibble is going to be quite weak. ava is just another useless dino that can also be cut
Agree with you on styraco. It's crazy crest gives it the advantage to do some defensive side-swiping attacks, rather than being a full-frontal ceratopsian. It's also just the all-around more iconic ceratopsian, and its distinct crest makes it easier for people to identify from a distance. It also makes it very discernable from the rest of the ceratopsian roster (whereas I can and HAVE seen less paleo-informed people mis-identify diablo is a juvie or adolescent trike.)

Albertosaurus and Pachyrhinosaurus also naturally lived together, unlike Gorgosaurus.

my idea for Pachyrhinosauruses special attack would be a charge, somewhat like carno but it would knock anything in its path out and away from its running zone and stunning it, not used for attack but to escape larger dinos like a rex to just give it enough time to stun it and run

Got an issue with Proto cutting.
Proto has those strong jaws, I think it will be an absolute minefield out there with Proto, while Ava feels like a big boar.
Proto should stay. And Velo is our lad to handle it.
Even if Pachyrhino doesnt get added as its own creature theres still a good chance we see it in game. I`m pretty sure skin DLC`s have been confirmed for evrimas future and there is actually an old pachyrhino model in the isle devkit so even if we dont see it as its own feature, we may see it as a diablo or even trike DLC which is awesome. I love the idea of the pachy-alberto rivalry since alberta is getting a huge rework and pachy is the perfect prey for it to hunt.
Technically Pachyrhinosaurus was confirmed by the devs. So we should see it.
Packy could honestly bite as an attack, it's a huge beak and it would be a fun nod to the protoceretops biting a velocorapter we have fossilized.

My comment is not connected to the video but to a recent been yesterday discord discussion you had that you did mention that pachy needs a buff bc it takes 5 hits to kill a utah so I'd like to point out how fast pachy is similar to Utah and with one hit you knock out the Utah and technically get a second hit for free so in a sense you technically need to worry only about 3 out of the 5 hits which again aren't hard to pull concidering that not every Utah is nappn plus keep in mind that pachy doesn't have a knife on top of his head so realistically yes he'd be doing dmg but not a dmg a claw or sharp teeth will do so in all honesty I think pachy is good where he's at when comes to his strength.
avaceratops would absolutely mince you up, bladed weapons or not, avaceratops is about the size of a Spanish fighting bull at 320kg in weight (although if specimen MOR 692 is infact an ava, it would bump the species up to a max of 1 tonne, the size of a cape buffalo) , but due to being closer to the ground with more robust proportions would be even sturdier and more powerful, it would be upon you in an instant just like a bull or a wild boar, there would be little time for you to react, but unlike a bull an avaceratops skull is very thick and their crest completely denies hand/weapon access to the neck, one bite would completely sever what ever it bit onto and its horns would easily gore you, bladed weapons would meet the thick, dense bone of the head and most likely be diverted either by the ava's tough skull or by its horns, you wouldn't get a second attempt with a bladed weapon, because the ava would maul you after a failed attempt, an ava's neck is also far to thick to get your arm around to headlock it, its neck would be thicker than your torso and being the holder of the main muscles that allow ava to carry its frill and use its horns for defence, would be incredibly strong

I did ask if pachyrhino could do go bipedal in any regard, whether for a headbutt or a stomp, (I wanted it in PH) and no, they're too front heavy, which is upsetting but makes sense.

@@Orni-Mega-Lonyx yea, I did ask in ornithischia, I was told that in basically no circumstances could they go bipedal, even for a short time. Like a front leg hop they could do but nothing beyond that.

I think it’s unlikely we will see pachyrhino like that in game. It’s simply too similar to Pachy. Right now all of the Dino’s fill very specific niches and very very rarely clash with each other for being too similar. I don’t think the devs want to risk dividing the pachy community as there is already not many of them.
pachyrhino is def coming,we saw a model on stream the other week,but as long as the devs dont nerf pachy like they did,pachy should have a decent sized player base.

they should honestly remove diabloceratops and avaceratops from the roster. styracosaurus is going to be better than dibble in every way and looking from the concept art, the dibble is going to be quite weak. ava is just another useless dino that can also be cut

Agree with you on styraco. It's crazy crest gives it the advantage to do some defensive side-swiping attacks, rather than being a full-frontal ceratopsian. It's also just the all-around more iconic ceratopsian, and its distinct crest makes it easier for people to identify from a distance. It also makes it very discernable from the rest of the ceratopsian roster (whereas I can and HAVE seen less paleo-informed people mis-identify diablo is a juvie or adolescent trike.)

adult deino can max grab 4 tons,and if pachyrhino is 4 tons then yes.
