I have no idea why everyone keeps hating on Steve. Steve is usually the one that steps in to Karl's defense, and is usually pretty fair. Sure he has digs at Karl, but certainly no more than Ricky does. And Ricky is WAY more obnoxious in the way he treats Karl. Steve does banter, and when Karl bites back he makes it incredibly personal, because Karl is just petty. And you know it happens off air too, and Ricky is the one that constantly winds Karl up off air. It really surprises me, cos Steve is so funny, and i dont understand the hate. Sometimes Gervais drives me mad with his shouting and immediate dismissal of Karl saying stuff that sometimes makes a lot of sense.
