Just listened to Steve’s interview with Michael Rosenbaum (10-23-18) and he said he was hanging out with Karl in LA and that he loves him. That really warmed my heart.
I can't find it. Can you link it or tell me what to search on UA-cam?
Rustin Cohle I can’t find it on UA-cam, but the podcast is called Inside of You with Michael Rosenbaum and it was episode 29
This is my new favorite comment on any of the uploads!!
Just listened to the interview/podcast, it's so wonderful hearing Steve talk about Karl in such high regard and he even says "I love him" 😊 such a good trio I do hope we get to hear them together again some day
This makes me a lot happier than it should.
"Lovely little boy... but, NOOO KNAAAAB BABEEEEHH"
“We’ve had worse than that”
😂 just sums up how shoddy this show was haha best radio in history!!
Haa anyone seen signs of Man Moth responding to comments lately?
N-no...?
"Fussed has made an appearance" - I've had a really tough day and this cheered me right up!
"Fussed wasnt there before!"
"Do it again!"
Honestly listened to yhese podcasts over and over for the past 5 years and I've NEVER got bored, like ever.
I couls listen to them everyday for the rest of my life and still laugh.
Comedy Gold! Just 3 men acting like 3 kids and having a ball!
@@cmxfitness6577 literally over 20 times all 4 series, podcasts and guides to!! Dont plan on stopping any time soon 😂
@@deanjones9967 YOU HAVENT FINISHED IT YET!!
@@andychapman1507 ?? Yes finished everything over and over lol
"NO KNOB, BABYYYYY" is just one of those things I picked up and randomly blurt out. Luckily mostly when I'm at home XD
I sometimes just say "MANMOTH"
Buy it if you want I'm not fussed.
+R.A.D. Stainforth "fussed" has made an appearance! "Fussed" wasn't there before! LOL
+Jennifer Abraham I'm snickering just from reading it in his voice!
R.A.D. Stainforth come back tomorrow ave a look around I'm not bothered I'm open Wednesday's by the way
The clue changes every time, baby.
It’s up to you wasn’t there before 😂😂
Didn't see the Glickster.
All those feathers, and he STILL couldn't fly...
@@LukasOfTheLightweird innit
"What's the second gunna be like?"
"Born without a head"
"Hahaha - Just a nob"
"And call it Karl"
One of my favourite moments from Ricky and Steve.
Hot guy 😍
See Dr CT CT de but
@@LiamWindle *little gay fella*
Are you a couple of benders??
"who give the dinosaurs their name?" Genius
So sad Ricky didn't catch that...
Ricky’s timing of “What do you think of the Thorns album?” when he’s reached his Karl-nonsense threshold 😂
This has got to be top five of their all time greatest shows.
Steve's laptop story gets me every time haha
£1,500 for a laptop in 2003! It shows how much cheaper technology has got.
21:47 ‘Buy it if you want, I’m not fussed, you can come back, have a look round,I’m open Wednesday’s by the way, shut at four, see you later’. 😂😂😂
RG spoils a brilliant clue…
I have gone around and around, listening to the xfm shows, and the specials, and the random stuff... somehow it never gets old
I love how Karl says "Alright Kirsty" when it was Ricky who said her name was Kirsty Morris. 😂
“DONT TALK SHIT !! “
It’s like how the guest on the chat show became Cher just cus Steve said it was Cher. It’s *fact* now haha
"Morning"
"Morning, ahhh"
"Just got a cappucino?"
"Yeah, Starbucks yeah, business good?"
"Yeah uhh, it's a bit slow at the moment but it picks up later on this evening"
"Does it really? Good"
'Alright Kirsty?' LMAO
DON'T -- TALK -- SHIT!!
Karl reading that second Rockbuster clue and Ricky losing it might be my favourite Rockbusters moment
Ricky ruins it - the clue for soft sell/soft cell is fantastic
@@jonhayes7322 Then Karl ruined it with OutKast.
@@edmunddonnelly3881 That one is poor; but the dynamic had been set despite KP coming with games, features and clues unparalleled by any other producer…
That's good I can play 10 pin bowling again - O
Answer: Oasis (oh hey sis) - my sister went missing so I had to go looking for her, but then she turned up again so I could go bowling with me mates
jcrawley1 this is genius mate hahaha
"What Am I Thinking" indeed.
I literally laughed out loud at this. It makes just as much sense as Karl's clue.
😂
That comment made me burst 😅😅
20:09 Ricky’s reaction to that second blockbuster.. I mean rock buster clue was hilarious :’)
“FUSSED WASNT THERE BEFORE!”
this might be my favourite of all the episodes. so much ridiculous stuff in this one and the most contrived rockbusters of all time
:----Dd
48:21 onwards is golden. This whole episode is a barn stormer.
19:40
Please welcome to the stage, Karl Pilkington's Rockbusters.
Alrigh'?
The cat is bigger than the house!
ahhh, ive been looking forward to ricky cheeky little devil gervais show all day today 😃 goodnight peoples x
"When the fella was 'ung" :'-D
Rick ung n dat
He was 'ung by a rope! The image in my head... X'D
Haha, what are you like.
"There was the 'ang-gin one, the 'ang-gin one, some fellow was done and they 'ung-gim...
Well 'ung?
"WE'VE HAD WORSE THAN THAT! IMAGINE THAT!"
Bet Steve was gutted Ricky didnt get the office next to the brothel
Hello ladies.
Oooh that's interesting and it's correct
Hahaha
The bit when their debating whether Karl sent that prize or not is great! Love them knocking his prizes.
The history of wind on VHS.
very interesting how Steve here praises the Cure's B-sides, saying how great they are, when previously he relentlessly berated Karl for the Cure tickets that Steve was given for free. As I recall, Steve said of the show, "I want to hear the hits, not some obscure B-sides" Classic!!!
In fairness, he probably hadn't heard any of them until he got the album.
I think he was moaning more about album filler tracks then, not so much b-sides.
His point was that at a **show** you want to hear the hits, he wasn't commenting on the actual quality of the B-sides
HeatyFrog his point was shite
His point WAS shite
The rough sound quality of this episode really compliments Ricky's voice and makes him even funnier. It's like he roars every time he opens his mouth. In fact I find that I like listening to audio with poor sound quality because the scratchiness and this sensation that the mic's gonna break makes someone's yelling even funnier. But it also helps that Ricky's particularly unhinged in this episode. The words just come bursting out. It's like for this one episode he got turned into a beast, like when famous cartoon characters get turned into enormous, monstrous versions of themselves. I find him very entertaining here, but I understand how some people would find him annoying.
Can he hear us?
great comment
@@sneezydeezymcdeluxe7015 Did you just interrupt me? I think I was talking! I mean I might be mental, but I think I was talking!
Quite funny that 42 inch tv was considered HUGE back then, even with Steve’s special eyes 👀
Eyes bulging with high definition.
I bet Steve is livid he paid that much for a telly back then. By 2009, a mere 6 years after this aired, the cost of a 42 inch telly had already fallen to £450 - source: I bought a 42 inch telly from comet in 2009.
That's the funniest part of the whole series, when the two just start talking music, they stop acknowledging him 😂😂😂 48:55
Steve pays £1500 for a computer and £3000 for a TV, and he's tight ("in the extreme".) Prices have really come down in the last decade.
Either that or we're all being paid less.
Dan nope. He brought a plasma screen tv. The technology in a plasma is now out of date as there's much better television. And for laptops they were a new thing in the early 2000s
I bet steve is furious at the money he could have saved
It's not that I'm tight, it's that I like to get value for money.
@@indecentproposal9473you're absolutely right, I'm CAREFUL with money.
51:40 Always been my favourite Monkey News, largely due to how Ricky responds #narativelovestory
This is one of my favourite Rockbusters, Ricky almost dies from laughter
Martin Freeman comes off well in this, defending Karl when Ricky is bullying him. 😂
Then seen later in that *Tolkien tripe*
The Bob Geldof impression is amazing.
Gulp
Perfect timing to fall asleep to ! Thanks so much for uploading :)
Esme-Joy Liebert Haha fantastic, no problem at all :-)
53:20 this is one of my fondest memories of the entire series. The passion and emotion in their voices whilst Karl is still dead pan presenting Monkey News.
Easily one of the best episodes. The brothel stuff is hilarious. The best Rockbusters. Steve haggling. Karl's haunted house nonsense. The Glickster. This episode has it all.
And Ricky's half laugh-half scream of amazement at "A little bit of tit". I agree, this episode always stands out and it's one that I especially look forward to when I listen through.
Nob-body has been that lucky before
12:25 - "All they get is a picture of Karl's big head!" "It's not big it's just round." "Ah.." "Get it right!" xD
I would listen to two hours of "do the clue again" lmao
I love how Karl just glosses over a story about crashing a f1 car on a race track like it’s nothing. Maybe the most interesting story he’s had on the show
Not as interesting as the Horse in the House
its not actually an f1 car.
@@JeffJeffers0n I mean from a lamens standpoint. The horse in the house is definitely better haha
I’d love to hear people’s favorite Karl funny bits… Split tennis ball. Choking on ice pop. Getting stuck out a window trying to deliver news papers while his mom locked the door. Butt plugs. Arm wrestling guy on the train. Dad stealing food from a phone box.
Steve and Ricky went out together the night before. HOORAY.
Misster and Missezzz.....
''It's not big it's just round!''
''Get it right!''
Man I wish we had that webcam footage
"WHO SAID THATTTTT. COME OFF IT, COME OFF IT."
Lol.
Oh man. I'm dying here 🤣🤣🤣 Rockbusters was hilarious 😂
I love how Karl goes from worrying over Steve and Ricky swearing in series 1 to saying things like "if it's all about ass, why don't gays like a bit of tit?" In series 3
*arse.
If this was a scripted show it would be comedy gold. Its even more amazing that this is all improvisation with absolutely no planning. Genius
i still can't believe they didn't follow up on karl writing off an "f1 car"
At 11:38 Karl calls his own prizes "a bag of crap."
Been listening to these for years and I have never heard that.
Is "crap" considered a swear word in Britainland? Ricky reacts like it is supposed to be a censored word.
@@craigcraig4147 No not at all. Its because of the historic censorship by Andrew Philip's (Karl's boss) and Karl gets so worried about swearing
Ricky backtracks so hard when he's proved wrong on a point that Karl has made.
+Matt Russell Yeah its pretty embarassing, heaven forbid he should be wrong and Karl should be right
Ricky is a legitimately insecure person. Doesn't take criticism well and needs to seem like the smartest in the room.
I know a few people who have done degrees/PHD in philosophy too. They always feel like they are the smartest person in the room, they lose touch with the common man. Sadly.
+Keplers Kitty lets
Be honest, he is probably the smartest in the room. Steven might be witty but he's not the sharpest tool in the box when it comes to politics and general knowledge
Jordan Bradshaw you're joking right? It's very clear Steve is far more intelligent and educated compared to Ricky.
All those feathers and he still couldn’t fly 😂
It's cool how they were talking about watching the US Office pilot being filmed
The laptop story is a belter 😂
Don't mind me - I'm just saving my favourite moments from each episode for my next round trip! 9:00
Steve's haggling is abysmal lmao
I'll give you £7
@@UnderAGlassMetropolis it's only a fiver to get in.
Ung-N’Tha (famous Chinese emperor)
R - "Oooh that sounds good, and it's correct!"
R - "You hang around with ner do wells, and you're bound to get your glasses knocked off."
3:58
"♫You're all the same♬"
R - "Sexist"
S - "Racist"
I never heard Steve clearly, now I love this line.
you idiots
R - "Did you drop it in? Yeah I dropped it in, play a record you're an idiot"
S-"Booobs?!"
That's David Gray and 'This Years Love', if you're in love I hope it lasts it's only January!
Easily one of their best episodes... Along with why wasn't the fella with two heads looking both ways
just settling down to bed, the best time for an upload! thank you c:
I recommend "she wasn't a looker anyway" as the episode title.
If only Karl thought of “I was sacked from my am dram production” outcast
I love how when Karl talks shit Ricky starts longing his sentences out lol.
"Oh is ittttttt", "Yeahhhh", "You're talking shitttttttt".
“Ohh you’re two foot shorter and hairy” 😂🤣
She wasn't a looker anyway
Ricky is hilarious in this episode
One of the funniest shows yet! Steve's recollections were brilliant, Ricky was on top form and there was just the right amount of Karl. Had a damn good laugh at that one!
39:58
S: I think It's fairly common knowledge that the dinosaurs did not exist when humans did.
K: Well who gave the dinosaurs their names?
LMFAO XD
"OOOH, THAT'S INTERESTING AND IT'S CORRECT!"......Educating Ricky
No knob baby !
Stephen shouting “LET HIM FINISH” during monkey news is all of us, I think.
This episode has possibly the funniest Rockbusters ever.
19:00 best rockbusters !!
Stephen Kings IT...topical🎈
It's Cletus the slack jawed yokel lol.
If you listen back, right at the very end of Ep5, Steve announces that Jo Ogden wins the ‘A Few Good Men’ film quiz….so Karl is wrong when he calls her out for being a liar!
"Mum! There's a nudie lady in my bed!"
''She wasn't a looker anyway.''
X'D
well.. take "well.." as read
“Then Who gave the dinosaurs their names?” 40:00
When Karl changes the clues every time i lose my shit 😂😭
Ricky and Steve have a bad habit of sometimes getting in the way of Karl’s show.
Karl laughing is so damn wholesome.
36:37 * *DIES!!!* * X'D
In new york state you have to inform buyers or renters if a haunting has been reported to the media... Karl's partially right 🤷🏼♂️
I could make 3 or 4 suggestions for the title all related to the soft cell clue
Finest cryptic clue moment!
Types in 247, Out the door... 'Alright Kirsty'! 😄
14:11 "Mum theres a nudy lady in my bed!"
My breakfast went flying 🤣
pub / pool hall steve was talking about is definitely ye olde swiss cottage. used to get beers and play pool after school on fridays there.
Did he live around there?
I've begun using the word 'squoze'.........
+luuke furtado I don't understand why it's been left out of the dictionary.
+Man Moth It's a perfectly cromulent word
+jimmystooge It's scramfarious! x
54:11 Three special words to live by.
Thank you, Man Moth!
Karl added a character to Ricky's repertoire of comedy characters: Ung An That. But contrary to what Ricky said, it sounds more like a Vietnamese or a Thai name.
Hilarious stuff.....Karl actually laughs too...funny in itself.
