I was taking online classes from 9 - 5 so I was having to sit for long periods at a time. ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxEhgucmXpcAGYh8fatGFEnOK2V97VIwhG After the first day in a regular table chair, I thought about an exercise ball and ordered one that night. It came the next day! My hips, legs, back and butt couldn't have been happier! I'm almost 5'11" and I ordered the largest size and it was perfect for me. I also have RLS (restless legs) and this helped so much.Pumping it up was a little challenging and definitely gives you a good arm workout, (I'm a 62 yo woman) but it's very doable. Getting the tape centered with the hole to inflate it and then getting the pin back in was also a little tricky. But I love my new "chair" and I love the torquiose color. Hopefully it will also get used for exercise. 😁

I used your chair exercises and it got me out of pain, I cannot recall how long it took me to get pain free but it worked for me.
I'd suggest that anyone who wants results with this exercise regime, should persist with them, because believe me, I've been pain free for years. I really do thank you guys, you know you stuff. God love you. 🙂👍

*FOR THOSE WHO FOUND THIS VIDEO LIKE I DID:* After years of serious and constant pain from an injury in one shoulder, I started doing the soup can exercises in the second half of this video on a daily basis, eventually converting them to stretch bands in an upright position after a week or so, with VERY light resistance for the first few weeks and then gradually increasing and keeping extremely consistent. What was a constant 7 or 8 pain is now an occasional 1 or 2. *LIFE CHANGING!*

I am 87 years old and fell and broke the top of the humerus bone. Spent two months in a care facility. The pain was horrific. I have had Pt and now have OT. I was told because of my health and age it was inoperable. The exercise has helped . I will try some of the ones you have shown. I have fallen several times so my back is hurt and again no surgery. I must use a walker for balance. I so want to get my safe mobility back.

2 weeks ago in the ER I was diagnosed with rotator cuff calcific tendinitis and its the worst pain I've ever experienced, took almost 2 weeks of ice packs, Tylenol & ibuprofen before the pain level finally started going down. It was bad enough I couldnt even sleep in my bed as no matter what position I tried it felt like my arm was being pulled off, I started sleeping in a recliner which helped me sleep as arm pain wasnt nearly as bad there, This morning the pain level finally came down enough that I can start trying exercises in videos like these, Thanks.

    • @krakoa942
      @krakoa942 2 роки тому +1

Same experience. My shoulder has been killing me for days from doing overhead presses, and I got a very sharp pain the last time I did a full workout that really scared me. The next day I did the shoulder squeezes, push down stretch. The belt stretch felt good but a little awkward, so I replaced that with a push down stretch going in the opposite direction (arm going behind back) using a tall dresser. Then I did some very light overhead presses with shoulders squeezed to warm up, and did all the stretches again. My shoulder feels about 90% better today. I had very good results with another Bob & Brad video on bicep tendonitis a few months ago too. You guys rock!

I hurt my shoulder in December 2022 while fire spinning. Itreated it gently for six months and was still in so much pain I couldn't move a cup with that arm without crying out. A friend recommended PT and I didn't think moving it MORE could help. But my curiosity was piqued. I watched videos for a week until I found this one. Then I started doing the exercises every morning. Within w weeks I am pain free. I will keep doing the exercises because I think there is more work to do. Thank you for this video and for helping alleviate the pain I had for six months. I can't wait to spin fire again.

I have had continuous shoulder pain for about 8 years and to my surprise and everlasting gratitude a couple of these things have worked. My pain is down at least 50%, no more Alive for me, and I am hoping by keeping them up I may finally heal them up. But even if they get no better than today I am happy. Thank you so much, may your wives never have runners in their hosiery.

I injured my rotator cuff badly enough 2 weeks ago that it rendered me unable to brush my hair or bring a spoon to my mouth for four days, let alone just about anything else -- the price of having only one hand when it happens to be on the arm belonging to the bad shoulder. As you can imagine, it left me feeling quite desperate which motivated a lot of research. Not like there was much else I could do at the time.
Bob and Brad, I cannot tell you how grateful I was to find your youtube channel. You have helped me understand what had happened, made me feel I'd get through this, and have given me tools to help make that possible. Now that ice, anti-inflammatories, and rest have made it possible to start rehabilitating my shoulder this particular video of yours is going to be my lifeline back to independence. Thank you so much. I've only done half the exercises but feel the benefit already. Deeply grateful. And I love the warm friendship between you that shines through all your communication. You are both a delight to watch.

(Guess what... didn't work) Yesterday, it finally got to the point so that I knew I needed to do something. These exercises did the trick! I watched a few of your self diagnosis videos and it seemed for sure I had impigement. I watched this video last night before bed and did a little stretching, today at work I did a little more and about the third set I did of the chair excercise the pain was gone! It is so incredible! I'm going to keep working to strengthen the muscles there and improving my posture at the computer. Thank you so much!

Hi Bob and Brad, I am extremely grateful to you guys. I could not move my right hand even by an inch for 2 days (after sleeping on my shoulder) and was having extreme pain on the slightest movement. The Xray reports said nothing and the doctor just advised lots of painkillers for a week. Your suggested exercises and postures not only helped improve shoulder movement but also relieved me of the pain. In just 2 days , there is a 75% improvement (and that too without any medication. The only thing I took was some turmeric in warm water for curing any internal inflammation) .Thank you so much :)

I'm able to combine my own personal experience and knowledge with your helpful advice and I'm slowly getting better without having to leave my home. Thank you for caring about us Mr and Miss Public out here, you've changed my life that's for sure and you wouldn't do all that if you didn't care. Thanks so much from NC! Keep up the great work! You are appreciated!

♥♥♥♥Carrying two children and being unable to move because of my illness, I put on a lot of weight in the next 10-15 years. It strains my knee joint very much, leading to additional osteoarthritis in my early forties. It doesn't help that I work in a small office sitting at the computer all day. When every move you make feels like torture, you tend to avoid moving. This is probably the number one mistake those of us with arthritis make. This is also one of the main reasons obesity is twice as common among people with arthritis than the general public. To get an arthritis solution here : tinyurl.com/y3t83cje?TruEer7 >

I don’t know how you showed up on my feed, but I am SO glad you did! First off, you two have such a great rapport and I crack up constantly watching you, but I have been dealing with shoulder joint pain for almost two years. I went to physical therapy (The tendon is being impinged) and it really didn’t help. They didn’t do any of the stretches that you did. I have been doing shoulder squeezes as I watch this and just that seems to help a little. I went to your site and ordered the wall mounts for resistance bands and cannot wait to get going with the exercises you show in this video and some other ones of yours that I’ve watched. I’m also going to use the pillow setups you suggest in the sleeping on your shoulder video, because I sleep on my right shoulder every night, so I know I’m only prolonging my discomfort, but I KNOW your suggestions for both pillow set up and exercises are going to help me. You two are FANTASTIC! Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us!

Anyway I am going to do almost all everyday except the ones with the ball. O! Boy I cannot believe how lucky I am meeting you on the Youjube. I will sign on Facebook too soon. Thank you, Thank you. Thank you Bob ans Brad

I’m in my 70s, and have had shoulder pain for years, partly from lifting heavy patients, partly from an old injury from my mountain climbing days. It feels like there’s no fluid there, and they grind.
I’ve had various treatments, including ultra sound. I tried swimming, but it was too painful, especially later on. I have watched this for the first time and will try the exercises, but I’m wondering if I’ve left it too late. Thank you for your interesting and informative videos.

I've had shoulder pain the last few days hoping my rowing machine doesn't make it worse; that machine has been so good to me. If I lift my arm it hurts more coming down than going up.

Thank you so much. How long do you hold the stretches for? For the dynamic stretches - How many reps and sets? How many times per day do we do the routine? Thank you kindly.
