      +Cameron Cooper Yes,I love your 70' strat me too (ash body i think, on the back...) There you miss more than a classic Kramer pacer, or 84 ? ;) I had two Charvel Japan (so-cal and San Dimas), but I preferred the Kramer when I passed.
      On youtube, Sam and you, present a beautiful collection of changing strat (super-strat) you have selected your weapons ! ;)

    Just now seeing this video. You and your dad seem like great guys and are most definitely awesome players. About your Edward's LP with the backwards 59 at the neck.... a lot of folks do that intentionally in an attempt to get the same sound as "Greeny", I'm sure you already know that, being British and a player yourself. Someone else further down the comment list may have already said this. If so, sorry. Anyway, as good as you were when this was made, your even better now. Much better. Keep sending us videos. Even though I'm in my mid 50's, I still learn. Especially from younger/ better players. Thanks.

      That Edwards Rhoads looking L.P. must understand great! I have a Orville L.P. Rhoads , but I put a Gibson over the name and people started freaking out ! One guy made a 10 minute video of why I shouldn't mislead people . Def helped my viewers . I will have to do a video like that ,but 130-ish guitars ,takes a long time to do! Keep on playing ! Let's hear some Rhoads on that Edwards , Randy Rhoads was my teacher ,so I li,etc to see his legacy progress !

    Hi Cameron, have you considered using a switcher such as the GigRig Quartermaster QMX10 for your pedal board so only the pedals selected are in the signal chain? Helps improve tone by cleaning up the signal path.

    You didnt demo the tremelo pedal. Ive just bought the marshall one, great, and all i need. Interested to hear what you'd use it for, as i will prob only use it for a certain gig/band, and odd numbers.

    Man you play amazing! I'm watching some of your "lick of the week" videos , it's help me a lot to Improve . Dude i have one question , about your " Snow White " Charvel , where did you installed the battery ( pickups or between the springs ) ? I'm asking this because i will build my own strato with some Brazilian woods , but i'm studying if i put the floyd rose or wilkison , and one of the few points that i will analyze is the facility to change the battery and tune the floyd . Can you help me ? thanks

    • @CameronCooper
      @CameronCooper  7 років тому

      Hi. Thanks so much for your comment. I get this question quite a lot. The battery for the EMGs is actually under the pickguard. There's no battery compartment on my guitar. If the battery is installed there, it would not disrupt the springs or anything related to the setting up of a Floyd Rose bridge or any other bridge. I hope this has helped. Cheers ☺

    Hey man, first things first, I'm a huge fan of your work, you play great and teach great too! Haha One little question: how do you manage string replacement since you have a large amount of guitars? Do you use coated strings to last more and always have shining strings if you choose to play a certain guitar you got? I'm asking this cause I've recelty bought a Charvel San Dimas, just my second guitar, and very fast my strings rust, so I almost never have the two of my guitars with decent strings to play... I clean after playing, all the stuff, I use D'addario XL strings(good quality) and I can't stand the need to change the strings soon. I've tried elixir coated strings, but I figured out that it brokes more easily, so I stopped... thanks bro, cheers!

    • @CameronCooper
      @CameronCooper  7 років тому

      Kelvin Burigo Hi I use Ernie Ball Super Slinkys for my guitars.. They last for quite a while.. I usually tend to play them until the strings start to die or break.. The strings don't need to be changed that often really. I never clean my strings. Thanks so much for your comment. I hope that helps ☺

      @utooberblooper 7 років тому +1

      same as cameron,ive never cleaned strings and i havent broken a string in at least 10 years.i use whatever is cheap that fits my style,d,adarios,ernie balls or whatever.

    awesome gear Cam! I'm curious on your opinion of the evh 5150 overdrive pedal vs. Catalinbread SFT... I'm currently running a marshall code 25 but looking to trade for a Yamaha THR10. I'm curious in adding a pedal with multiple effects if possible and a wah by Xotic

    • @CameronCooper
      @CameronCooper  7 років тому

      Brian Hester You'll be surprised I've actually never tried the EVH overdrive or the Catalinbread Sft so I wouldn't be sure if you'd even need one if you're gonna buy a THR10. The Yamahas however to tolerate modulation effects and wahs really well but not distortions because that's not what they are really designed for. If you want to use a multi-fx pedal I would have said it was pretty redundant because the effects in the Yamaha are already great and if you download the free THR10 editing software, it's a key to another tonal dimension. I'd only recommend a multi-fx pedal if you are buying the bigger THR100. I bet that's really fun!! I hope that helps

      Gabriele Milani Hi. I actually don't own a distortion pedal and I have no idea which one I'd choose. I don't see a need for a distortion pedal with all of the Rock amps on the market. I'd just look for another amp

      @brucelk19 6 років тому

      Ok scratch the pick question I see you answers someone below me the jazz 3 xl good to know cuz I’m using it too and I like the sharp edge wasn’t sure if you would like that does it give you any trouble strumming chords? Obviously not cuz you’re great but just curious cuz I was using tortex.88 then the jazz version of it which was a little sharper but same thickness but I like the thicker pick for grip

    the charvel with the tone zone, does it sound really dark in the charvel? I have the Ibanez rg655 with a tone zone in the bridge and it's super dark. just checking

    • @CameronCooper
      @CameronCooper  8 років тому

      +Brian Jewell It doesn't sound dark, I would have said that it sounds warm, but not as warm as any of the charvels with Seymour Duncans humbuckers. Thanks for commenting :)

      Not really to be honest I hadn't thought about that. I just like have a really nice fat tone. Fully enough I don't use that setting anymore. I personally enjoy tweaking with the mids to get a good tone ☺

    Do you put the wah pedal in front the amp or in the effects loop? Do you put the delay and chorus in front of the amp or in the effects loop? What would be the order the delay pedal first then the chorus?

    • @CameronCooper
      @CameronCooper  4 роки тому

      Wah and chorus go in the loop. Wah goes at the start of the chain.
      Delay goes in the loop. I say in the video
