Mid Idea : Pets
They would follow You around and help in battle(like the ones You already have),one could attack, one could heal You
You Buy them from a new merchant or from the Riverman, some ideas i have for Pets are a bull who would Charge and Pierce thru enemies, a frog who would eat enemies & an ant who would repair buildings(incase you're busy fighting off enemies)
This would make game bit complex and easy dude
theres a somewhat old game called Protect Me Knight, it was an indie game on the xbox360. It's got a similar mechanic you might wanna check it out for inspiration or reference but the game is surrounded around keeping a princess from being attacked by enemies, if her hp hits 0 she screams and everyone on the map dies. The more she goes without being hit she gives you hearts which if i remember right lets you repair barricades and stuff. Who knows, it might give you some idea

The game looks very fun to play! I have a small suggestion tho. Like different types of enemies? Like a big but slow one or a small but fast one? Just a suggestion tho, the game looks very nice!

Can you make bomb or something that explodes and I think it would be nice if the night pandas had different variations like a fast one or armored one to make the game harder
This would take a bunch of work but you could make it to where if the Panda King wakes up he gets really big and destroys the whole island

You should make a splash potion (when you upgrade it, it could be like uhh.. Acid, fire, explosives or any bad liquid. You could also buy it from the riverman guy.) Each upgrade would give it a higher radius too
I just picture you as the player character keeping the king safe at night (since he needs his beauty sleep) and in the morning he wakes up and instakills everything on the map. *NANI!* it would be a good way to clean up mobs in the morning. I look forward to seeing the progression!
Tbh that's a really funny idea! But the lore works more around a curse, which keeps it nighttime until each enemy is defeated

I have a ideas for boss or shop, or another location. A big rock golem blocks a big plot of the mountain and if you give him enough shadow souls to let you through. Just a idea 💡
