Just discovered this. Wishing I'd seen it 3 years ago. I've basically dropped everyone out of my life that hadn't dumped me before. I've been "so nice" for so many decades that now I'm bitter & resentful. I'm only hoping & praying to live long enough to get over those feelings. 💫💫🙏🏼🙏🏼

Being a nice guy or a douchdbag are 2 sides of the same coin, a coin you don’t want to be in. You gotta find that perfect balance where you’re kind while still prioritizing your needs and not letting others push your boundaries
It just hit me that being too nice is being completely submissive, and submissive people never, ever have control or freedom. That's all I needed ;)

Aziz - you're the best! Since reading "NotNice" I am like a different person, speaking my mind both in personal & work situations. I feel so much more energetic, confident & strong in myself. More fulfilled too. I always thought of myself as a v spiritual person but that came with SO MANY 'should' rules it was unbelievable when I finally could see this. I'm doing WAY better in my work life (meetings, seniority figures etc) & although my marriage is coming to an end, I feel WAY POWERFUL. Thank you so much for this amazing awesome gift. Anger is no longer an enemy but a tool I can skillfully use when I trade off between my id & super ego. Love it!

My advice as a gamer is that, you're on level 1 out of 20. To increase your level don't go straight to facing level 12,15,17. You gotta start slowly with the easiest targets. And right down (in your brain) your progress. It's a skill after all, you'll need alot of practice and time. And remember that most of the people are wether like you or worse, except the ones who practiced alot. So be one of them

kaka cech thanks bro for replying:) actually most of the Times im ok or confident. But when i try to speak with someone, i fumble and mind goes blank sometimes. This happens usually when i speak english,its my second language but im quite good in English. But still i have anxiety when i speak with native ppl.
