Just did this tonite on the 03 dts deville,...sucess no more abs brake lite trac control,...what a pain tapping drilling to get the bolt in to spread if apart ,I used a little flux although I had issues with solder wand,I kept at it and its done, man they dont have much room for the mounting screws,I put it off along time, but feels good to fix and save so much money😊
Got the same thing 03 120K miles. The could not have found a worse spot if they tried. Headed to pick n pull this week. Good directions brah! Everything on this car is hard to get to
what lights did you have on the dash exactly? I got the same problem but I have "service stability system" abs light, red brake light, and traction control lights on.
Did you find out what was causing the problem with your car,, 2003 Cadillac DeVille abs traction and brakes light on red, don't know what causing the problem
My stabilize engaged light comes on when driving then slows my car down, when it goes off then I speed up again. Nobody seem to understand what I am saying or don't know how to fix it. Can you help. 02 DTS Cadillac DeVille.
Where are you located brother? I have a beautiful 03 DHS and have those same lights on but the mechanics in my area doesn't seem to have a clue. I'm willing to pay for you to fix mine. It sometimes goes away but since it's been cold it has stayed on.....HELP PLEASE 🙏
Hello I will try my best to help you. I am not a certified automotive mechanic so I wouldn't be comfortable working on your vehicle. I am a certified Aircraft mechanic. I know that doesn't help you any. I just tinker on cars, washers and dryers for fun. If you could I would like to know what work the mechanic has performed on your vehicle. I did a lot of research on this issue back then. It could be many things from a blown fuse, low tire pressure, dirty EBCM, wheel sensor, or low battery voltage to name some of the simple thing. So that's where I started with my vehicle and I actually found a bad wheel sensor in the process. But I still had all the lights on my dash. Wheel alignment, steering angle sensor, ABS module and main computer were the next thing to check. It's interesting that you said that the problem comes and goes. That's actually how my car was doing and mostly affected during the colder months. So I had to dig better into the problem. The most common issue that I read about where the ABS module and main computer. My alignments was good so I checked to make sure I had proper voltage to the ABS module and the computer which was good. The ABS Module (EBCM) seemed to be the most likely cause of the issue from what I read on the internet. So I replaced the EBCM and all the lights went away.
@@Carson2MBK it literally said it was a loose connection to the ground but the dealership said all other kinda stuff and that parts I need has been discontinued by GM. A bad exhaust valve in my rear compressor and I think something about the EBCM module but I'll let you know specifically once I'm home and find the actual diagnostic paperwork.
@@Carson2MBK thanks for responding, I just got a wheel alignment today and out brand new Vogue Tyres on it. My friend thinks it has something to do with a wheel speed sensor as well but hasn't looked at it for me yet. But my rear air bags don't hold any air but the car still levels out somehow. It's crazy bro and I'm thinking about switching from air ride to the shock and spring kit. What's your thought on that?
Thanks. My 03 caddie deville with 85k miles has the same problem.

My DHS is still going strong but had been trying to figure out what was causing the brake and traction light to come on
Did you do any reprogramming to it
I am trying to find out where to buy parts. Nobody makes it anymore. I did find out that it is interchangeable with the C5 Corvette.
Where you get your wheel set up bro? I want the same set up but don’t know where to get them
Rims are part number 9594386-DC and the tires are Vogue 225/60R16 98H
Same thing happened on my 05 DeVille
how much was the part
Does this clear abs and traction control? Also does the computer have to be reset? Thanks 😷😷😷😷😷
Yes it clears abs and traction control and no I didn't reset the computer.

I had the same exact lights that you have.

I don’t have this problem but it could be you cyclinders and spark plugs. But I do have all 3 lights that come on my dash.
Sorry for the late reply. I think it might be main computer problem. Am not expert at this but that's what it sounds to me.

Yes you might be right and if that what it is, that sound pricey

@@wemustliveent.9597 I have shocks like you. I haven't had any problem with them yet
@@wemustliveent.9597 yes the EBCM part has been discontinued but if you watch my video I tell you how to get it repaired.
Did this turn off the lights??
Me to that is what I like to know also🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓
Yes traction control light went off.
Thank you sir!!
