Logistics strike is something I've got very good at. I've mentioned in other videos that my priority is strat bombing enemy fuel/ oil capacity. That will never change but part of my air campaign is Logistics strike. I use both tactical bombers and CAS. I design my tactical bombers with one tactical bomb and (2) 3 small bombs. Fuel tanks for extended ranges. My CAS Logistics fighter bombers are a cheap, single small bomb and not much else. I spam those out. I use tactical bombers to reach beyond the front lines and my fighter bombers CAS hits all the front line logistics. This is very effective playing as Russia against Germany. To support my front line Fighters, CAS and Logistics fighterbombers, I have AA support divisions stretched across the entire front line made up of 6inf and 3AA. Once the war starts I have an order of battle for the air campaign. 1) launch every fighter over the front line 2) launch rear tactical bombers and front line fighter bombers for logistic bombing. Cover as much enemy territory with Logistics bombing early on. 3) once enemy trains and trucks start taking heavy losses, begin strat bombing... I keep the cheap logistics fighter bombers hitting the front lines around the clock. After about a month, I rotate between strat bombing and tactical bombing everything in the rear. I micro managed those. Once I start seeing tactical bombers and strat bombers taking losses, I send them to another region to bomb or I bring them home for a little while.. My air doctrine is simple, losing a few hundred expensive and cheap planes in the beginning stops armies worth tens of thousands of industrial points. Every since I got good at air campaigns, I don't lose half my armies anymore. Merry Christmas everyone
Thanks for your strategy, made me wanna play Sov again and try it. I have a question about the AA line - how does it exactly support your fighters and bombers? I used the 3 AA in a tank division in the past and it was very effective at destroying cas, but I don't know about AA batallions fighting other air units.
@jamskimornik7287 I didn't explain AA very well.... When I think of AA now, I think of it more in terms of part of my air campaign and not ground. Germany has a huge air force. So I use a 6inf/3AA division. For a total of 48 divisions in two armies across the Russian front line. There's evidence that only two AA units per division works. I too add 2 AA to my tank division. But I don't build hundres of tank divisions anymore. I build only two small divisions that I use to do encirclements. My Frontline is designed as a layered defense. My Frontline divisions are somewhat strange. I use 18inf/ 3arty/ 2AA/ 2 Heavy tanks. That would be about 48 divisions holding the front line... then I add my AA divisions on top of them. I make very cheap heavy tanks. Light turrents and pack as much armore on it as possible. I also don't advance my Frontline until the German front line shows the red supply boxes. My AA divisions just sit there. They move with the front.
@@anthonysacco5010 Very unique playstyle, do the germans even get anything from their airforce? So much AA will surely kill all the CAS in weeks and ignore any debuffs
Thanks for the videos throughout the year guys. I hope everyone at Hygge and their families have a wonderful christmas and happy new year. Excited for the grand game to top off my christmas celebrations. Buzzin' to see what Hygge has cooking for 2025!
Whenever I play SP Japan, i would always use Logistic Strikes against the Beijing front line at the start of the war without trying to push under the debuff. Only after the Escalation is completed, i would push against a rather weakened Chinese AI (or it felt like its been weakened). Can you somehow simulate or test out if Log-strike against China during the waiting period for the escalation to go up is worth it?
That so very basics, Missing the following points: - strart bombing supply hub and railways? - what was the AA losses state aa or division aa? - what bomber setup is the most efficient? - what spirits can help with log strikeing? - which doctrine is the most usefill for log strikeing does bomber defense apply? - how to protect against log strikes? - what docrines are the best to survive mass log strike - what general traits protects better against log strikes?(invader/supply grace) - what armed trains makes a difference? - can railguns be hit as well? - can you burn the frontline supply better by attacking for a short period?
-State AA creates losses, a lot actually, Division AA does nothing -Bomber Design is similar question as CAS, More Ground Attack more Damage, but also higher IC meaning higher loss when planes get shot down. Air Defense helps against enemy fighter, but not against AA. -you can protect against logi strike with armored trains and state AA. Armored Traines have almost no losses and shoot down Planes. State AA shoots down insane amounts of Planes. -Railway Guns also get hit yes
i like logistics strike... but u didnt talk about ur plane losses... just a coumple of aa and ull lose A LOT of planes... sometimes its not worth it... check min 15:00, 8 aa and ull lose ur cas and tacs in 1 or 2 months +-
So if you combine logistics with Strat bombing their mills and civs you can grind their supply to dust ? Even if they have the guns they can't get them to the troops .
I've tried this before in the katter stages of the war, the allies are OP on iron-man mode and although it is realistic the AI now switches their production depending on demand, I got the uk to 0 truck but withing weeks it was back up to 2k and I checked their production line and they sunk everything into producing equipment I.e trucks and trains lol

Interesting fact, if you're playing mos that adds more trains, try large scale logi bombing. Sometimes ai decides that it REALLY needs 100k+ trains)
Interesting:)
Great video!!!
Thanks :)

How do you pull up the graph which shows the kill at 9:20?
Should be pressing Details in the middle of the box.
There is a "Details" button under the region name and weather illustration picture.
can you please share the design of the bomber you used
I just took the basic designs and added stuff to improve ground attack :)
I never do this, the ai sucks so much that if I were to do it it would be even easier.
I feel you. Have you tried some Mods? Like Expert AI, max buffing your enemies or scenarios like a 1944 or even 1945 start date?
In general the AI is easy to beat if you are experienced. Try some ai improvement mods :) or play MP as well
I dont use logistics strike, its too good so feels like cheating.
