I once had to play until the late 1980s to level up Li Zongren to a level 9 field marshal 😔 I'd never played past the 1970s before then, and that was only once.
How dare you disparage Canada's fleet! It is literally the best way to play as them! Does it suck? yes, is it incredibly expensive, also yes! but by all the sweetness of the maple syrup it is fun!
I tried to do something similar, but my fleets spends weeks on fighting submarines, shooting down 1, leaving 30 and repeat :( I had radar and depth charges, yet submarines usually get away
This is why I really don't like naval combat in HOI4, it just boils down to bring a big deathstack and watch the other deathstack get obliterated. It is with great jubilation in my heart I spread the good word, T H E R A T I S B A C K
A race to Berlin with the Danish was a nice treat
Just some tips ISP, build some BBs so they take the heavy damage from the enemy's BB, if you don't they will go after your CVs
17:10 Mao and Chang did a historical swap lmao
Fix existing trees? LOOK OVER THERE SOUTH AMERICA DLC
One tine i had to play as Persia until 1961 until I could build a navy and invade US. It was one of the most fun campains I've ever done.
tank canada fan vs navy canada enjoyer
As a Canadian I can confirm that he broke as many war crimes in his playthrough as we did in WW1
Naval HOI4 ISP videos are always my favourite ones
He has been contained in the lab safely and will continue to make hoi4 videos forever
22:04 Stalin nuking Kyiv while fighting the Germans is the most historically accurate part of this video
*Kiev
@@bdleo300 Kyiv is the English spelling suggested by the Ukrainian government. It was called Kiev by the Soviets but Ukrainians call it Kyiv
I'm baffled at how expensive a navy is to build, but sinking every boat from every opposing navy contributes almost no score, but by golly you can shoot down 1000 planes and get 20 percent.
Can’t wait for historical Tana Tuva
That will be a very short video 💀
I want Democratic neutral Tanu Tuva or Manchuria personally
New idea: Actually find a therapist who is fine with being audio recorded and have a therapy session about how HOI4 is affecting your life.
As someone who is extremely stubborn and only plays minor nations on ahistorical despite not being very good at the game, this is exactly how most of my games go. Went til 1973 in a recent one with Czechoslovakia. Pretty sure post-war Eastern Europe in that world would just be a few lunatic Czechs in gasmasks riding around the irradiated nuclear wasteland in Mad Max-style modified versions of the crappy dirt-cheap light tanks I spammed out for the whole war.
makes ending those games more entertaining, to imagine the aftermath
Wait, this isn't an ISP video without the Ironside sponsor at the start!
ive noticed now that im older, and have these dlc,s and 2k hours, i just love this fuckery and wont stop till im dead
ISP, I have an extraordinary video idea! Play as Jan Mayen. All you have to do is go down the Anastasia path as Poland, get Wojtek as leader and own Jan Mayen. After that, you can release Jan Mayen and play as them. You also get a pretty overpowered leader. Hope you see my comment :)
You deserve 800k subscribers after that focus tree
road to 56's version of this focus path is actually kinda sorta fun kinda not really but its better than vanilla
I Played Hearts Of Iron IV Until 1938 (It Was Not Fun)
This is Insane even for isorrowproductions
ISP drove my house while under the influence
Im currently doing that right now, as Bulgaria i just capped the US after dealing 12 million casualties to the Allies.
Get on my level man I’ve gone to the late 70’s and I hate myself for it
Sir, you could play Pacman and I'd watch. You're comedic timing is perfect.
I once had to play until the late 1980s to level up Li Zongren to a level 9 field marshal 😔
I'd never played past the 1970s before then, and that was only once.
I've played till 2025 but used toolpack to spice things up so I wouldn't get bored.
I hope they fix the Austria Hungary path so you don’t get cores on Czechoslovakia until you own it
The way British people say Newfoundland never ceases to amaze.
What are your ship designs like? What do they prioritize? Because I'd like to have that much success against other navies.
Bring Rat, or me bring RAT
Switzerland navy only when?
I have heard playing past 1945 destroys PC but to play to 1966 sounds like Nasa computer on verge of extinction
How dare you disparage Canada's fleet! It is literally the best way to play as them! Does it suck? yes, is it incredibly expensive, also yes! but by all the sweetness of the maple syrup it is fun!
16:00 where is, i repeat where is the british navy ? the world wonders...
We want Trotsky and rat
I once played a game until 2003. Russian Empire achievement run. I had to fight literally every focus tree nation except Japan.
It seems like someone accidentally left instant construction on…lol
Mordred Viking stamp of approval for naval dominance
I'm a simple Canadian (Newfie, so they don't come much simpler) - I see a Canada run, I cross-check the like button and leave a comment :)
5:54
ISP: Like and subscribe
Me: For the navy??
ISP: for the therapy
Me: ah *Likes*
I tried to do something similar, but my fleets spends weeks on fighting submarines, shooting down 1, leaving 30 and repeat :( I had radar and depth charges, yet submarines usually get away
You need Sonar, not Radar
ISP's 2nd channel is run by his Evil Twin, they had a rivalry going on for a while.
Imagine for this challenge you just pick Switzerland
This is why I really don't like naval combat in HOI4, it just boils down to bring a big deathstack and watch the other deathstack get obliterated. I wish the number of ships lost in each naval battle was massively reduced so that the naval war actually went on for a while, kinda ridiculous that you can wipe a countries entire capital ship lineup in a single engagement
You should have played with Extended Tech Tree 1960 lol, it's a favorite of mine that takes the vanilla tree and just extends it a bit. It's a lot of fun if you hate yourself like I do
Ngl the navy was on a different level of nasty
not as bad as the time i played the united provinces until 1970 (dear lord save me from the pain)
Did anyone else notice the Italian camel when the Italian regno de sud puppet spawned?
