@RyneMurray23: You screwed it up. They're 2 separate quotes. Besides, it went like this: *_Jerry:_* "You look like a pirate" *_Kramer:_* "I wanna be a pirate"
@@Alysa-Aiday Yes... Well... Amongst Seinfeld aficionados it is as know. But the shirt is at the Smithsonian Museum.Jerry gave a televised speech and all. The RISK-board isn't...

@@TheSuperCenaFan The best ever was in The Honeymooners, where Ralph and Ed are handcuffed and need to both get out of bed whenever Ed wants something, and a kid in the audience figures out that Ed just got everything he needs to take a smoke except a match.
@markjacobs3337 Lmao, far earlier than that. At LEAST by S4. S4 the whole story of "a show about nothing" starts and only makes sense chronologically. Plus, that is where Susan is introduced. These dopes are watching episodes after Susan has died already. It's silly.
Jerry Stiller, who plays George’s father, is a great comedy actor. He was one half of the legendary comedy duo “Stiller and Meara” back in the 1960s, with Anne Meara, his wife at the time, and Ben Stiller’s mom.
Loved the reveal of who won The Contest here! It does come up again in the final episode. I can't wait until you guys do The Library episode and The Limo episode. The panhandler asking for "change for an old buccaneer" at 11:31 is Ron Ross, who played the very meek and inept bailiff, Dirk, in about a half-dozen episodes of Night Court. No other Seinfeld connection, but just a fun fact from another great "Must See TV" series.
I bought the Best Buy exclusive Senfeld: The Complet Series like 20 years ago give or take, which comes in this really nice black package setup, that comes with a coffee table book of the show, and the whole thing is placed inside a replica of Jerry's refrigerator, including magnets of things from the show (the fusilli Jerry, the cigar store Indian, and Little Jerry (the rooster).
Ha ha. Okay few things here. When people mention Seinfeld I think about the puffy shirt, the smell car and muffin tops almost straight away. A friend who had gotten a job running a local drop-in center started wearing shirts like that all the time and it was because of this episode. He insisted I watched it and sure, right? He also told me when I asked he got it at a thrift store and so I checked and started to notice thrift stores are just stocked with shirts like that. All of the US too. Else watching your reaction I noticed how much shirts are emphasized in this episode. That's a clever touch. All the characters are wearing profound shirt styles. Also the girl that talks to George her um, well uh, did you notice that? Anyway I'm also back from surgery after burning hands. I'd hug you George but, well we all feet here. What a memorable episode though.
The other day, I was wishing to see George dancing through the park waving and admiring his hands over his head. I had no idea you two would fulfill my hankering so well with your own amusement. Thanks to you both. It is fun reliving the 90s with y'all
This was hilarious. Definitely loving this choice of series for you to watch, brilliant! Seinfeld is a household constant! Just a few months ago his NEWEST movie "Unfrosted" is chock full of comedy celebs, he even took the reigns and directed it himself! Btw I love your Captain America shirt, but in spirit of Seinfeld you should actually be wearing a Superman shirt, as Jerry is a gigantic Superman fan. He even did several credit card commercial with Superman 🦸
I can't believe I found you guys a couple of years ago watching Cobra Kai season 3 reactions and now I basically refound you when I wanted to see people react to South Park. Now you're doing Seinfeld another one of my all time favorites. It's crazy because you guys are easily one of my favorite react channels now so I regret missing out on the past few years.
Im 38 and been watching this since I was a kid. I just realized now that the blue shirt Jerry is wearing when Kramer shows hin the puffy shirt, is just as puffy as the pirate shirt lol
This is one of the most iconic Seinfeld episodes ever. I dont want be a priate was a legendary quote in the 90s. Soup Nazi will be a good one. The Marine Biologist is one of George's best episodes for sure.
Funny you mention the sleeves being what’s throwing you off. They literally added wiring into the shirt to get those big ruffles cause when viewing earlier prototypes the order was always for them to be bigger and puffier.
Frank and Estelle (George’s parents) were absolute gems in this show. Rip to both. Jerry Stiller was one of a kind. You must do the Festivus, Mansiere and Lloyd Braun episodes for peak Frank.
So glad you are watching whole episodes and getting familiar with some of the characters who show up on one or two episodes. You will appreciate that when you watch the Finale! That's all I'm saying.
Honestly remembering the storylines separately is incredibly common for the show. The way they always come together at the end is cute, but a lot of the time it's not really the most memorable part of either story.
George dancing through the park with gloves on and arms up is one of the funniest visuals of the entire series. And “‘20 degrees off the starboard side, it’s a Spanish galleon.’ There’s no comeback for that!” is also an all time great line. A flawless episode of television.
It’s actually at the Jamestown National Comedy Center in New York. It might be circulated between museums. I mean, there were probably 2 or 3, so it may be at both.
Would you believe, when I was 18, I had a sssssssilver dollar COLLECTION?! You know, I could never bring myself to spend one of these. I got some kind of aaaaaaaaaaa PHOBIA!! 😂😂😂
Here are some episodes you two should watch: the bris, the non-fat yogurt, the cigar store Indian, the dinner party, the pie, the fire, the heart attack, the old man, the smelly car, the Hamptons. Just a few episodes for this season and the previous few I suggest you guys should watch.
I also have that box set with the puffy shirt but it was the second box set season 4, 5 & 6 The First box set was season 1, 2 & 3 and had a replica monks cafe ketchup & mustard salt shaker and napkin dispenser… which I also own 😂
Early 90's fashion was funny. In the scene where Jerry realizes that he agreed to wear the puffy shirt, the blue shirt he's already wearing is plenty puffy already. And always with the tuck-in.
Georges' dad was Originaly played by John Randolph but when they decided to recast the role With Jery Stiller, Larry David had all the scenes that John Randolph had been in previously reshot with Stiller even though the shows had already gone out he thought it made better sense for when the shows were shown in syndication, because John Randolph played Georges dad in a far more subdued way and Georges' Mom was meant to be the eccentric one of the two but when Stiller came in they felt his energy fit the the role of the eccentric one better and the roles were changed and re-shot to match. Jerry's dad was played by a different acter first also but his scene were not re-shot as it was too early in the shows run for them to beable to make request like that.
I just realized the photographer is the same guy from The Chinese Restaurant episode, taking so long with the phone. Also, my mom hates George so much I have to show her the part where he burns his hands and screams whenever it's on TV.
No Seinfeld is not out on bluray, it's crazy. I have the complete DVD box set. Has nice pictures of all of them on each DVD case, but it's all paper and thin. No extra features. But I know one came with a coffee table book, the idea from the show. And I know there are two full series sets, I got the lesser one but it's rare and expensive. Love having it and could just pick any disc and just play it whenever. The best sitcom ever. And George's dad is one of the best.

George and his parents steal the show time after time. Off the top of my head "The Serenity Now" and "The Doll" give his parents some shine.
