ADHD friendly would have been linking the Apps in the comments.
That doesn't have anything to do with ADHD. It is common courtesy to the viewers
@@brendalg4 the point of the original comment was referencing our high level of distractibility… yes it’s a common courtesy as well.
@@TheFranchfry I know what the point was... I just meant everybody likes having the links.
@@brendalg4Yes - nice to have for all. NEED to have - for those with ADHD!
This is clearly a video aimed to support those with / may have adhd, meaning they are the target audience.
This isn’t about the ‘nice to haves’ to accommodate all, for why the person above made their comment. You were just being difficult 🙄
@@mpink8907 I wasn't trying to be difficult. I was just showing that there was even more of a reason to do the links. Everybody likes them.
1:07 tusk
2:00 Timefinder
2:16 paced
Thank you
Thanks!

I’ve tried every app under the sun and what I’m realizing is that the apps just don’t work for me. I hate that I have to use pen and paper but it’s literally the only thing I can stick to. Another app is another reason I have to pick up the phone and get distracted again. Modern life is the worst.
If you have ADHD and struggle with using productivity apps & methods long term, you are not alone and you are not broken. Don't see it though the app failed or that you failed. It didn't fail. You didn't fail. It worked for the season that you needed it. It will take time, but do your best not to blame yourself. Use this chance to scratch that explorative or creative itch to find a new app or system that'll work for you in THIS season. ------ If you liked Arianna Bradford's advice & If you're interested in similar advice, there's a great video out there by ADHD Jesse titled "Avoiding Toxic Productivity Advice for ADHD," where the above advice comes from.
Yes i agree with you! These apps are seasonal use. I often go back and forth to different apps depending on the situation
I’ve tried many but always end up going back to Apple basic apps- notes, calendar, reminders because they care clean simple to use. The gamified apps are good for a season and then they fizzle out. I’m trying to find the paced app mentioned in the video but can’t find it in the App Store
😂was about to say I have never consistently used a productivity app ever before.
Thank you stranger🥹
❤
I loved this video and will sub to her now. I think the collaborations that help a wider audience is brilliant. This is great.
I really like how she is straightforward and sometimes brutally honest without being judgemental or patronizing. This is the first time I've heard of her channel, but I'm definitely going to subscribe after this.
Is there a human tracker. Like a pet tracker. To automate my location; to see where my time goes.
Like some type of Bluetooth device I leave in my desk to calculate how long I'm gone for.
I love to get interrupted by my co-workers but it takes up such a block of my day.
By the end of the day I have no idea where my time is gone but I didn't get to my due to'ssss...
I would just love to personally see my time by location in feet.
Google does an okay job at long-range motion such as job. It sucks from desk to shop and to each work station.
Heard you say some things like "hyperfocus", "overwhelm" and "impulsive spending" and I felt so seen. Could you please share your opinion on the sensa app since it seems very appealing and shows up all over my feed. Newly subscribed to your channel after this video!
Thanks for this. As an ADHD-Dyslexic I find apps much more useful than the pen. My mind thinks a lot faster than I can write and spell and I'll often forget something I was going to write when I have to slow down to try and figure out how to spell a word. Apps and spell checkers are the only way I can function when it comes to none verbal communication.
Me too being dysgraphic I have the same thing.
The apps mentioned (in order):
Tusk
Centered
Artful Agenda
Timefinder
Paced (ios only)
re wanting to get all the things done today: neurotypicals don’t have a running 4 year backlog that they happen to be conscious of today for some reason but know will disappear again, probably tomorrow until 2056
I'm trying to learn some tools because without medication I feel like I'm a different person, in a negative way.
Overwhelmed by the videos but still clicked yours. Hope I learn something helpful.
No this overwhelmed me more. 😅
I'm struggling to find The Centered App... Would have been helpful to have the mentioned apps in the video description with links etc...
its only for laptops:(
I can’t find it either. I’m on my laptop.
My ADHD favorite apps:
Forest.
TimeGlass.
Evernote / Craft.
Spark Mail 2.
UA-cam Premium (no ads and background play).
Mine are :
- CampNight
- Notion
- Dynalist
- Onenote
- Google ecosystem
Thanks
My favourite is focus mate 🙈 but I hope its price stops increasing.
I did not stick with forest lol I am trying to use notion now
Study bunny
Sunsama
I bought 2 of them, in disparate hope for change, and left your video for lack of focus, and I'm not even diagnosed yet first time in half a year :(
Really great advice ty!
1. Tusk: gamified to-do list with achievements, good for ease of use.
2. Centered: gamified body doubling app for ADHD/introverts.
3. Artful Agenda: two-way sync between planner and Google Calendar.
4. TimeFinder: helps visualize your schedule to avoid overbooking.
5. Paced: free scheduling app for Apple products that considers your energy levels
Did anyone else not find Paced in the App Store?
I didn't find it either and yet I am in the US App Store. Sent them an email so will update you just in case I get a response regarding which region it's available for.
Tusk - habit tracket
Centered - body double
Artful agenda
Timefinder

I'm not gonna fool myself that id use any of these apps but I hope it helps others
I didn’t see the paced app in the Apple play store. Do you have the links ?

want a more detailed introduction to each app...
THANK YOU
these are cool but i realised while watching i can make post it notes the sticky ones and give each of them 25 mins of time. if you struggle with order you can wake up and arrange your notes any way you want. i dont like regimented things bc of school and indoctrination etc... so imma do this instead cant beat good old paper lets hope i stick to it
Links would be nice 🥵 the names of the apps are so general I can’t find them in the App Store!
What a fabulous presenter. Off to find out more about Ariana as she clearly gets what its like to have ADHD.
*Arianna
Just need to get through this video without stopping or getting distracted😂
im struggling with remembering to use the tools 😔
I really need a timer app that warns me out loud when it’s almost done. “5 mins left”
So often the timer goes off and I need to come to a stopping point… so turn off the timer and accidentally keep going too long
An app that isn’t mentioned is Tiimo. It’s amazing for time blindness with ADHD. It helps me understand my day visually in time if that makes sense at all and it prompts you too. Example: lunch starts in 5mins or morning routing is almost over etc. It’s incredibly flexible. I’ve been using it on and off for years now and it’s the only app that I’ve stuck to consistently and that actually helps me if that makes sense. It’s even more powerful if you have an Apple Watch it will buzz your wrist. It also has widgets. Great for planning and tasks. I’m just looking for something that has goal planning and breakdown because I struggle with that. I might email the Tiimo tea and ask if that’s something they may consider integrating or making a separate app for. They’re very open to suggestions.
do you have andriod version
I need a tldr before my attention flies 😅
Thanks so much I’ve been looking for apps line this . I want to try paced . Yes what we have the energy for . This was so relatable . I try our free trails or free first . Good tips . So relatable thanks again
I can’t even find Paced
@@TheLynnepoohIt's only available on IOS and Browser =(
@@karlbethencourt7986 App store says not available in my region. What region are you guys that have access to the ios app Paced?
What country is Paced available for? In the US and cannot find in App Store

I just see all of these recommendations and can’t see myself using anything for more than a month at best
Thanks I couldn’t find paced app

Try this app - Routinery
Centered App seems to be only iOS, someone know a similar android app?
Where has she been all my life?! 🙃
So nothing free for samsung? :(
Hads anyone used the inflow app/site that helps with ADHD
Is that any good?
tried acreom for a few days, looks good
Could not find Paced app 😢

This is sheer brilliance. I read a book with similar content, and it was sheer brilliance. "The Joy of Less: A Minimalist Living Guide" by Matthew Cove
Tiimo it is for me.
None of these apps appear to be available in Europe
VPN
My handwriting is to messy and inconsistent, so I gave up on paper planners.
nagreminder is missing :)
Anyone know an android app equivalent to the Paced ios app?
Amazing Marvin is a bit similar
v cool !
Are these apps free?
I was so encouraged by the video but disappointed by the support at understood.
? How can we help?
"what's up... suckers"?
Hmmm.
All of these apps recommend is are extremely expensive!!!
Yep, that's what I hate about all of these apps. Try if for free and that slap a yearly subscription - great for that ADHD impulsive spending *sigh*
