I say that because the matchups are often nonsensical, I once watched some fan fiction (some very well put together fanfiction I might add) that had Batman actually getting with Darth Vader in a fight. A comic book where Spider-Man beats Galactus or some foolishness. What I consider is what I know the characters are actually capable of, and what they would actually do if faced with certain situations. Galactus would have ended Spider-Man immediately, Darth Vader would have forced choked Batman and slammed him against the wall until all his bones were broken immediately. Black panther, is much more intelligent, much more experienced in hand to hand combat, not to mention the technology that he can bring to a bout, and I've never even seen cap use any advanced technology. If he fought captain america he would win.

The "Super Soldier" Sirum was made using extracts from the "Heart Shaped Herb" so the king would win. he was literally given the precursor to the sirum which was 10x more pure than anything they gave Captain America.
I thought the same thing at first but the serum that Captain America got was altered and possibly made more potent giving him a more powerful version. Keep in mind that all the Black Panthers that we know of aged normally. Steve Rogers is close to 90 years old and still jumping from three story buildings with ease. It’s true that Black Panther has defeated Captain America in the past but I think it’s because it was their first encounter and, because Captain America never faced anyone who had the same abilities as he did at that point, he underestimated him. I may be wrong but I think it would be a stalemate. The only advantage would be certain fighting techniques that Steve has never seen before, because he’s still mostly a brawler in his style of fighting.

After many years of analyzing combat sports, picking winners to be specific I've encountered a multitude of factors when determining who will come victorious. All of my research has boiled down to 1 single phrase: "my money is on the black guy"

The answer is as always any given Sunday. The winner is up to the writers. Lately, Panther has been winning, however before movies when Panther came out in the late sixties and early seventies he wasn’t as powerful as portrayed today. Also, Cap if I recall had super human strength equivalent to Spidey and Cage after ingesting a chemical, created by the Viper. The original male Viper from the early seventies.
Sounds like Black Panthers abilities are more suited to take down a single person 1v1 while Captain America is more suited to have a team combat an army. So I would say BP.
It would obviously be cap he has way more experience and in the comic books he was trained in different martial arts and military fighting styles like batman but hasn’t fully mastered them and he was even trained by Shane Chi and iron fist and shane chi even said the longer you fight cap the harder it is to predict his moves and even in Captain America, Civil War Iron Man, had to use Friday because he couldn’t beat him in hand to him even without the shield”.
This has happened at least three times I I know of, with 2 different Black Panthers, the first time T'Challa dad took Cap to school, then T'Challa has bodied Steve twice, and he wasn't going all out he was literally testing Cap, in his internal dialogue he acknowledges he could crush caps skull, and Cap says Panther was too fast to track. Honestly this fight isn't as close as people like to think.

He’s better trained, and has far more experience.
And yet Marvel has always shown Cap LOSING to Black Panther- not a total beat down but T'Challa takes it . Both are PEAK HUMAN, with equal endurance, strength levels and agility- Black Panthers fighting skill is just a little more advanced than Cap ( who uses mainly boxing, judo and when necessary nerve strikes and savate) Difference though? Cap knows T'challa and has respect for the King ( ditto T'challa of Steve Rogers). Cap would take the loss as long as he was able to get to T'challa's sense of honor and reasoning to solve whatever MAJOR problem both of them have to deal with. Same can be said if Black Panther ran across Batman- Bruce goes down in similar fashion
The issue where Cap lost was written in 2004, and NOT by the original writers of either character. I read, and collected in the 80’s, going off of the original material, which was better, in pretty much every way. If “modern” writers want to change what came before, that was leaps, and bounds, beyond anything they can accomplish, then, I can’t stop them, but that doesn’t mean I’m going to put any stock in it. Now, if you can point out an original, old school, issue, where Panther wins, I might reconsider, as I don’t claim to have read every issue from back then, but otherwise, I’m sticking to what Marvel specifically spelled out in their official sourcebook, from when it was still, actually Marvel, before later generations ruined everything.

Black Panther was a world class athlete in college and you knowthe rest of his story. Captain America was just a soldier who was given the super soldier serum to make him a sort of superman. Let's see. Steve Rodgers before receiving the super soldier serum was around age 25 yr. He fights/train for about a year before being frozen. Steve wasn't a good combatant prior to becoming a SS. While frozen, he didn't gain experience. BP was trained at birth to be a warrior/martial artist BUT Marvel makes it seem if Cap has 100 years of combat experience.

The "Super Soldier" Sirum was made using extracts from the "Heart Shaped Herb" so the king would win. he was literally given the precursor to the sirum which was 10x more pure than anything they gave Captain America.
I thought the same thing at first but the serum that Captain America got was altered and possibly made more potent giving him a more powerful version. Keep in mind that all the Black Panthers that we know of aged normally. Steve Rogers is close to 90 years old and still jumping from three story buildings with ease. It’s true that Black Panther has defeated Captain America in the past but I think it’s because it was their first encounter and, because Captain America never faced anyone who had the same abilities as he did at that point, he underestimated him. I may be wrong but I think it would be a stalemate. The only advantage would be certain fighting techniques that Steve has never seen before, because he’s still mostly a brawler in his style of fighting.

Forcing S.h.i.e.l.d to act fast and preserve what remained of capt. till medicine was able to bring him back up to fighting condition. People keep forgetting that T'Challa beat his uncle, the previous Black Panther in their duel. At that time, he did not yet have the herb's power, but his uncle did. The herb gives you access to the power and wisdom of all the previous Black Panthers, and T'Challa beat him, on his own, with no powers. Let that sink in. Lately, Panther has been winning, however before movies when Panther came out in the late sixties and early seventies he wasn’t as powerful as portrayed today. Sounds like Black Panthers abilities are more suited to take down a single person 1v1 while Captain America is more suited to have a team combat an army. So I would say BP.

This has happened at least three times I I know of, with 2 different Black Panthers, the first time T'Challa dad took Cap to school, then T'Challa has bodied Steve twice, and he wasn't going all out he was literally testing Cap, in his internal dialogue he acknowledges he could crush caps skull, and Cap says Panther was too fast to track. Honestly this fight isn't as close as people like to think.

Both Cap, and Panther, are stronger, faster, and tougher, than ordinary humans, and which one is superior, in each category, is debatable, but when it comes down to sheer skill, Captain America is better. He’s better trained, and has far more experience.
And yet Marvel has always shown Cap LOSING to Black Panther- not a total beat down but T'Challa takes it . Both are PEAK HUMAN, with equal endurance, strength levels and agility- Black Panthers fighting skill is just a little more advanced than Cap ( who uses mainly boxing, judo and when necessary nerve strikes and savate)
Difference though? Cap knows T'challa and has respect for the King ( ditto T'challa of Steve Rogers). Cap would take the loss as long as he was able to get to T'challa's sense of honor and reasoning to solve whatever MAJOR problem both of them have to deal with.
Same can be said if Black Panther ran across Batman- Bruce goes down in similar fashion
The issue where Cap lost was written in 2004, and NOT by the original writers of either character. I read, and collected in the 80’s, going off of the original material, which was better, in pretty much every way. If “modern” writers want to change what came before, that was leaps, and bounds, beyond anything they can accomplish, then, I can’t stop them, but that doesn’t mean I’m going to put any stock in it.
Now, if you can point out an original, old school, issue, where Panther wins, I might reconsider, as I don’t claim to have read every issue from back then, but otherwise, I’m sticking to what Marvel specifically spelled out in their official sourcebook, from when it was still, actually Marvel, before later generations ruined everything.

Black Panther was a world class athlete in college and you knowthe rest of his story. Captain America was just a soldier who was given the super soldier serum to make him a sort of superman. He didn't have all of these combat skills and stuff until the Marvel movies recreated him in that area. He wasn't no martial arts expert in early Marvel comic books.

Let's see. Steve Rodgers before receiving the super soldier serum was around age 25 yr. He fights/train for about a year before being frozen. Steve wasn't a good combatant prior to becoming a SS. While frozen, he didn't gain experience. BP was trained at birth to be a warrior/martial artist BUT Marvel makes it seem if Cap has 100 years of combat experience.
