Now I’m insecure about my base lol. Wondering is there any way to tell someone is extracting a PvP cortex? I want to raid but it seems like the only way would be to follow them from when they pick it up
I normally enjoy full loot mmos, used to play Albion for example, but dropping gear in this game is too much imo, losing a BIS +10 weapon would suck a lot. Good video and really well explained, love the content
@@gawzeR. The BiS gear is all crafted. Getting the blueprint to being able to craft it is 90% of the job. You craft the gear, then you have to upgrade it, using materials that you typically have plenty of just by doing any content. Alternatively, you can buy the materials at a cheap price as well. Really, even if you lose everything, you'll typically get it back quite quickly.
If u do this open world pvp where you can drop weapons , safeguard is to craft 2 or 3 garbage ones of just keep dropped weapons on you, 90% of time if you killed you won't drop your main calibrated guns but rather junk. So make wep crate and craft 2-3 green guns and just put them in inventory before going for echo stones.
I didn't realize that this game has the worst raiding mechanics on the market. They don't even explain the raid mechanics properly so I'm sure many players lost all their progress without even realizing the chaotic cortex would make their base vulnerable. Also, what is the point of berserk mode if it doesn't reveal your base location like how purifying chaos cortexes do. There is essentially zero risk for raiding players.

So ive built a base i dont like. But it takes up a lot of my zone. Is there a way to build s fresh base without taking your current one down? Cant seem to find an answer to this? Cheers
Sadly not, its a bit time consuming and you have to build/move all your chests/stations to a few small foundations in the corner of your plot and then take down the old one to build a new one sadly.
@MaleOreo thanks for the reply. I've done this already previously on my pve server and I rly cba doing it now on my pvp. So time consuming and time is precious on this game. Really want to redo my base with some of the tricks you've done. Never really knew about the base raiding and not doing echo stones until I've sorted my base because ppl are ready to destroy my base the second I do 😔
How u join ur bases like that? U mention 4? So its 4 players but everything linked up cleanly ? And can you do it if you already have a base built or do you have to delete everything and start clean first :X Also wow 11:11 i didnt know that, so if you die in PvP to a player in echo stone raid or open world flag, you have a complete rng chance to just drop/lose a piece of your gear ??? Somehow it keeps your mods tho, but you lose custom blueprint perk replacement ?
yep, in regards to the base snapping yeah all the warband mates that want to join/snap cleanly have to start over (I recommend putting benches/deviants/chests in the center of your plot on some random foundations so you can snap foundations to the first guy)
@@MaleOreo ahh i see, I guess I will have to be the designated raid base for my group then (just a group of 4) since nobody wants to restart xD it sucks to be able to build a really pretty base but for pvp/raiding need to Rust-ify it and make it ugly as hell for defense lol couldn't you technically also, give all your items to your friends whose base is far away, and have literally nothing in ur base besides I guess turret (is turret good for pvp?) and echo stone mats. that way raiders get nothing?
I enjoyed the grind of this game a lot, but now that I am end game, or at least as far endgame as you can be right now, I am mainly looking for PVP. Sadly the server I play on, no one PVPs. I have went to a minimum of 20 pvp cortexs and have only been countered once. As well as have not seen a single pvp cortex extraction (meaning raid). Are you going somewhere for the PVP or just finding it?
@@MaleOreo Also, when you built this, did your friends copy your blueprint or rebuild it all the way around? Im trying it with my friends but it wont snap the blueprint

You only want to get echo stones from Red Sands & Blackheart, any other region will drop t1-3 and not yield as much. Also make sure you are all in the same hive to all get rewards.
I wanna join a pvp server. Im solo, am i allowed to join up with you guys? Ill contribute resources and help defend and snap/build correctly to extend the compound
its also world based, most people are setup on world 1 in their servers which Is what I recommend. Some worlds can be more popular on other servers though, its about finding which one has all the actives. The devs did have a world merge feature in where it would drop to 3 worlds in phase 3, but I think they removed it, unsure why...
if u wanna destroy your server pick up the PVP cortex and drop them infront someones door when they pick them up C4 his base and gg take loot make him unisntall you dont need to purify it just to have it in your bag it means u can be raided if you are around your house with it ;)
well, imagine i dont know that trick. i took the cortex and you started to attack my base. If i discard the cortex is it gonna stop? or there is timing and u can still attack my base?

I usually use world chat to bait people and tease people to come out, especially good for frontier pvp.

Crosshair X on steam, overlay app that allows you to make custom crosshairs then just hide the one in-game in the settings.

aint nobody raidin any halfway decent base in 5 minutes lol
its scales so if the defender kills a player their pvp state jumps to 10 minutes(roughly +5min every kill)
