On phasing, you can shoot thru solid objects if the objects didn't load yet. That means the devs are incredibly stupid and incompetent. They made hit detection client based. You never make hit detection client based in a pvp game, that's retarded.

I think pvp should not be optional, people are choosing to play on pvp servers and doing pve exclusively, what is the point of a pvp server if you have to play needle in a haystack? I think the best way to fix this is to allow chaos state to kill anyone but keep raids as is, that way, if someone is griefing you, just sit in base and tp away.

Someone having a bad pc and poor load times is not an "exploit" it is a failure on the devs part optimize their game additionally it is up to them to fix how the game loads buildings, Trees etc. As well as do it in a proper order to keep things like that from happening.

Excellent video. This addresses a lot of concerns I've had for PvP as well. Hope the devs see it and implement some changes for PvP servers.

It doesn't help that they killed servers by hard capping them and then not fixing it for 2 weeks. I could've had a full hive and had to resort to only playing with 2 of my friends. My server is sitting at low population since the first week.

Solo player here can’t even find pvp on this game

About the echo stones. I got some of these recently and when i did this the first time, i tried using a teleporter. i couldnt teleport anywhere with the echo stones on me. Do people abuse some bugs here or what am i missing? i just had to drive to my base 8 km + twice yesterday with echostones on me.

New World did not have client side authority. It was just players abusing bugs. New world combat also was never anywhere as bad as PVP combat in OH. OH is still fun but large player events i don't see ever working on the engine and network code they have

This is not a PVP game… the developers lied on their website page… I have seen every person in the discord sever that has come into the “PVP Battlefield” channel talk about how disappointing the PVP is in the game, the fact is… Once Human is a PVE game… just tell the truth, and move on.

We had about 20 people at a cargo scramble yesterday and I didn’t see any desync or people jittering around.

They gotta add hardcore servers, pvp servers where pvp is almost always a factor except for safe zones and questing ect

Primarily played this game for pvp, was hoping for something like early Fallout 76 with light pvp elements but I can't find any pvp. the only pvp i do find is against people who 100% know they'll win.

That's not a bad pc issue. That's called netlimiting. It's super common in building survival games

i love the game and the pvp but theres not enough and when you find it its a deviant build a gold deagle build or a sniper and ur just dead instantly on repeat unless you have a better aim with sniper i tihnk they deffly need to buff the other build in the game cause they dont compete fr

I never cared too much for most PVP in games after playing ESO however they rip their PVP system off of dark age of Camelot very solid pvp system.

On my PvE server there is a group of three people in a hive that team up with each other in the only PvP event and work together to kill everyone. They are all running meta jaws unstable bomber build and they give each other call outs to farm all the unsuspecting people showing up at the free for all PvP event. What is your opinion on teaming up in free for all PvP events. It wouldn't be a problem but they literally hop worlds and just farm sproutlets at every cargo scramble event.

Game will die because of 2 factors. 1) needless time gating of progression. 2) pointless pvp systems to simulate pvp. Instead of just having pvp be on at all times.

The car flying through the air! xD Doing that Ravenous Hunter world boss was bad. The second time we tried to do it I had trouble cutting down a tree just for building fences and trying to throw down an explosive under the boss but the game's lag wouldn't let me. Apart from that the game has been running fine for me, unlike with Pax Dei.

Pvp really is a huge let down

Feel they should go back to open world PvP past a certain level and add another currency and shop for said currency with various items like furniture blueprints weapon/vehicle skins building prints or something that makes it worth to PvP and then also make it if u own a territory it auto builds some kind of premade base thing around the oil drills and then also make it so echoshards are all ways shown on map even when someone is purifying it

PvP is indeed a treasure hunt spent 9-10hours with a buddy trying to look for pvp and all we got was 1 fight & and when you do find some pvp usually its samurai deviant simulator ur fighting instead

There is clearly a lack of pvp content , why the fuck is there a fking weekly cap on echo stone ? No one is doing it, prob high risk and 0 reward. Tbh for now devs sems to show that they doesnt give a fk about the pvp and thats sad cause its their pick player and many not gonna play next season bc of that
