I would recommend, if you travel to South Korea again, getting a T-money card. We went there from Brisbane in 2022 and it was the most convenient way to get around in Seoul. You can get them at basically any convenience store and just top them up when you need to. Kind of like an Opal card.
Love your vlog . I feel you! It's so tiring travelling non stop , changing accommodation ,pack n unpack . Anyway ..thanks for your hard work and hope you achieve your goal💛
You only went to Hongdae Main Street (Seogyo-dong). Main Street is not much different from Myeong-dong, just a small part of it. I think the Yeonnam, Sangsu, and Hapjeong-dong areas around Hongdae Main Street are much better.
Hey Josie, going to be a bit of random one. Been following you from the start also live in Aussie. I think we've been in a few countries at the same time. So I've been sick the past month, flu, covid, you name it and been so bored at home. You're daily vlogs honestly couldn't have come at a better time. And honestly, I'd love you both a coffee if we ever bump into each other but I'll just have to do it virtually. Thanks for everything.
I appreciate this so much, truly. I’m sorry you’ve been sick but I’m so glad I can bring some entertainment to cure the boredom - honestly this channel is a bit of fresh air to make videos for too, it’s been great for me also! Thank you so much for the comments and the coffees ☺️☺️
5:37 When I was shooting videos with my phone in Japan, I encountered a similar situation where there were ripples in the footage. I guess you might have adjusted the camera's frame rate once when you were in Japan. However, because the lighting frequency in Korea is different from that in Japan, it could be the reason for the appearance of ripples again. But this is just my speculation... 😄
Tteopbokki is a rice cake in a gochujang (spicy paste) sometimes eggs and fish cake with a soup stock to flavor it. Edit: I know of many good cafes in Japan and some that roast their own beans on site, have it saved somewhere in my Google maps but so many to go to hard to find them.
I know this is not a food channel, but I wish you had explored some Korean traditional food. You were right when you said there is a lot more to Korean food than bbq, but there is so much more than street food. Street food often tends to focus on more modern Korean cuisine.
I also wish we did too. We didn’t have a lot of time in Korea, only a couple of days. We were very burnt out from 1 year of traveling full time and making videos for this channel and my larger channel, and we just didn’t have it in us to do much more than we did unfortunately. Just means a trip back one day is needed! 😉
Korea is known for having a huge cafe culture so it is natural for them to have flat whites. I did not realize flat whites came from Australia. They are quite mainstream in North America. I definitely prefer them over cappucinos.
@@josievlogsthings I know Melbourne has a big cafe culture like Seoul. There's a coffee shop here in Toronto, Canada (maybe a couple of locations) that is owned by an Aussie. His aim is to bring Aussie coffee culture here. He had a fundraiser during the major bush fires a few years ago to help the animals. Btw there is a cafe in Seoul that specializes in Aussie brunch. They even import Aussie bacon for it. The owner lived in Australia for many years.
IMO Australia does push their beliefs on people AKA LGBTQ/Trans! Lets be honest if The man holding the Cross was instead waving a rainbow flag dressed in a bra, there would be no issue at all! Everyone would be applauding😊 Just saying
Yeah, you should definitely just go to a GS25 or 7-11 and buy a T-money card. You can load it up there too or use the machine in the stations. It works on all the transit, and you can spend any leftover money in the convenience stores.
Thanks for watching guys! I’m loving uploading every day for you for vlogmas! Subscribe if you’d like, it helps my channel! Cheers fam ❤😊

Awww you bought such a cute beanie! Hongdae is so interesting, and shopping is always one of the best parts of traveling 😝

Great look with your new beanie and your hair down. You always say Michael will be mad at you. I’ve never seen him mad, he’s an angel 👼.
0:16 you said the name of a Dreamcatcher ,
Deja Vu

You should try a Korean dessert called bing soo at a place called Sulbing and it’s located everywhere. I think you guys will love it
Oh tip on beauty products just buy as much as you want and ship it back home.

Yeah Australians (like myself) LOVE coffee. Flat whites are my favorite too and I always get excited when I see them in cafes when I travel! 😍

So compared to Japan you like Korea more because of the coffee scene ?
Ωραίες οι αγορές καλλυντικών στο Olive young ❤

영하20도는 드문데 뭔소리. 강원도 철원에 사시나보네 아님 북한인가?..ㅋㅋㅋ
Assie in Seoul?
Yeah! 😁
that is not palace, just gate of palace haha
The poor old man was probably a cult member. They are quite prevalent and its sad.

You’ve either not been to Australia or not understood our point.
Josie...watch a Case for Christ when you have time...Jesus is real...it's a fact
Don't you dare cut that long blonde hair off!!!!!

T-money Card를 이용했다면 편하게 대중교통을 이용했을 것 같네요.

@@brianlook4122 They got one each from the airport when they purchased the sim cards. I wish they could have known about that!!
그러게요.. They missed the best convenient transportation card of the world.
