Hey everyone! PLEASE be aware of some flashing from the lights if you're epileptic the setting was wrong on my camera and I didn't realise. Loving the vibes in Seoul, I wonder if you've been before?!
Korea is colder than Japan (except Hokkaido) mostly and China (except NE provinces), so be prepared for full winter when visiting Seoul in December - February.
You were lucky though. You avoided the coldest weather in Seoul.. Today, Seoul is -12 But the actual temperature felt was -15 degrees. Because it feels colder with the wind.
I would have to eat kimchi and rice for every meal while I was there lol. My best friend in high school was Korean and her Mom made the best kimchi! She would just eat it with rice all the time and she was the one who got me doing that as well.
Hi from a cold Finland, -12 degrees and lots of snow. You are so brave walking around in thongs when the weather is that cold, wouldnt cross my mind when its below +15 degrees 😄 Seoul seems like a really great place. Love your vlogmas and having a great video to look forward to every day😊 Thanks!
Finland!! What a cool place to be! It's FREEZING haha how do you do it all the time!! My toenail got ripped off last video so I couldn't put a closed shoe on it - definitely would have worn them if I wasn't in pain haha! Seoul is awesome, didn't expect to like it as much as I did!! Thank you so much for watching vlogmas!! 😊
I swear here in the south we always want ice cream when it gets cold here lol. It’s 30 degrees here tonight and we had apple pie and ice cream after dinner for dessert.
Hi, I was in Seoul in Feb for the first time and stayed in the Myeongdong area. Loved the vibe there too. Looking forward to returning to South Korea again in the near future. 😊
I can't get enough of your vlog and video from your main channel. They are awesome! And I'm so impressed that you edit and upload them so fast. Keep it up, Josie! Edited: Perhaps you can mute the video and then do a simple voice-over or some words explaining it? or just show us your reaction will do.
This is awesome to read, thank you so much!!! Love that you love my content. Thank you 😊 Yeah that's a good suggestion! I just love that this channel is so laid back and more like a conversation with you, so I'm not sure I want to edit it that much. I think I'd rather it be de-monetised haha. 😊😊😊
Hi Josie & Michael! 😊 I just wanted to say how much my partner and i love watching your videos, every video we have watched (which is almost all of them now on both channels) never fails to make us smile ❤ we came across your channel through your hong kong video as my partner is from there and have been watching since! i wish you all the best in your travels & merry christmas 🎄
WOW what an amazing comment to read, THANK YOU!! How lovely! I’m so glad you like my videos, how amazing of you to watch so many. Merry Christmas from us, to you!! 😊😊🤍🙏🏻
Hahaha I know right. Unfortunately I don’t have boots - don’t fit in my suitcase and I don’t need them for any other country so no reason to buy them 😂 I wish I had some gloves though - a beanie is a must 😅😂😂😂
@@josievlogsthingsBut at least why u didn't come in a sport/trainer shoes? But thong? 😬😬😬 You re doing travelling videos and not checking the weather before.? Thong is never good idea for walking, its literally paper thin, thats why you can't walk much. : ( I'm sad looking this, so unprepared
I bought winter gear haha. I had a singlet, 1 $100 thermal long sleeve shirt on, a long sleeve shirt, a jumper, and I bought trackpants specifically to go to Korea. There's really no issues here guys besides the fact I had thongs on which in the previous video I showed I ripped my toenail off so I couldn't wear closed in shoes haha. (It hurt a lot) 😂
I wish, Unfortunately not this time. We only had around 4 days in Seoul because we extended our stay in Japan and 2 of the days I needed to edit my videos so.. we simply didn’t have enough time this time. ☹️
We don't buy fruit too often in Japan. It's pricey. If we do, we usually get a kilo of grapes at costco for about 1000yen., but that's not a fair comparison.
I travel full time, I can't fit a coat in my bag and I don't really want to buy one for just 4 days in a country haha, my toenail was ripped off in the last video (the day before) so I can't wear closed in shoes haha 😊
I realize Korea is so different than Japan, I had a misconception that they would be similar. People are more expressive and overall the place looks different to Japan. Let’s hope it’s affordable compared to Japan. Thanks for the vlog! BTW love this video blog format. I hope there is some why that UA-cam automatically remove copyrighted music part and you don’t have to edit this heavily.
I also too thought they would be the same but from what I saw it’s SO different. Much more expressive etc. I’m so glade you love this format on this channel! Thank you!! ☺️😊

Thank you for loving Korea as a Korean!
Thank you so much for watching! I loved Seoul, what a beautiful spot in your country 😊😊
hello! I'm a Korean!
Thank you for visiting Korea.
I hope you have a pleasant trip.
Woo thank you so much!!! I love Seoul, what a cool country you have. And everyone is so pretty with amazing skin and style 😉😂

Welcome to Korea 🇰🇷
It's minus 15C today. It feels like minus 18C. So cold nowadays. I recommend coming to Korea in spring or fall.
there is the most biggest Daiso store around Myungdong and there are so many useful stuffs as reasonable prices . i reccomend you to go there

G'day Mate! That's a lovely Aussie accent you have! Welcome to Korea!

Lets go !! I was waiting for this video !! 🤍🤍
Your living my dream !!!
Thank you so much!
Grapes are probably out of season over there. White grapes are currently $10 over here in Newey. 🍇
Okay I’ve been chucking a tantrum when they’re $10 or more over here, i didn’t realise they were the same price at home 😂😂😂
Come back to Korea in April when spring comes
I really like u guys UA-cam it like real not fake !!!
That’s the idea!!! Thank you!
My god Josie. You need to wrap up. I'd be wearing a coat, hat, scarf and gloves. And definitely some warm boots.
Hahaha I know right. Unfortunately I don’t have boots - don’t fit in my suitcase and I don’t need them for any other country so no reason to buy them 😂 I wish I had some gloves though - a beanie is a must 😅😂😂😂
Wrap that toe and put your trainers on. You could always nick Michael's coat too 😂

If you watched the video before this you’d know why I’m wearing thongs. It was explained, I’m not unprepared. ☺️

한국에 오신것을 환영해요. 님 숙소옆에 하동관은 맑은 소고기 곰탕 국 밥으로 한국에서 아주 아주 유명한 식당이예요. 하지만 외국인 입맛에 맞을지는 모르겠어요.
Light snow is better. Snowstorm is not good but skier loves it after the storm.
Josie there are socks made to wear with flip flops. I have a pair. I got mine at Disney, maybe they have them there🤷🏻♀️🤞🏻
Haven't seen much of anyone visiting a Korean suburbs/village, any plans for that?
I wish, Unfortunately not this time. We only had around 4 days in Seoul because we extended our stay in Japan and 2 of the days I needed to edit my videos so.. we simply didn’t have enough time this time. ☹️
hyeungmin son won golden boot last year!
Did you filming with your smartphone ?
I see if the wind blows, you shivered. That's a feel like temperature which is -5 colder.
You can get tax refunds at the airport before leaving (applies to most countries)
Totally! 😊

It's SO expensive!! But I guess I have been away from my country home for so long it may just be really expensive there too by now haha.
@@josievlogsthings Yeah but like 20 grams of Japanese grapes are twice as expensive. I haven't been home in over 8 years.
I believe you are the only one walking in Seoul on sandals 🩴😊
I know right hahaha
Happy Vlogmis! Get a Pokémon beanie. Grapes are around $3 to $4 USD a pound in Texas.
Happy vlogmas Richard!!! Woo! Haha, imagine I had a snorlax beanie haha. $4 a pound!!!!! What!!! That's insanity!!! hahaha
Oh my god, it is winter in Korea. 😅
So cold! Haha
Learn to make Chai... Best to drink in winter
Josie please get a coat and some shoes
I travel full time, I can't fit a coat in my bag and I don't really want to buy one for just 4 days in a country haha, my toenail was ripped off in the last video (the day before) so I can't wear closed in shoes haha 😊
I GOT THE JOKE 🤣🤣😭
😂😂😂😂 I think you were the only one, but worth it!!! 😂😂
I went to Korea this Aug, and you can get your previous purchased tax refund from olive young. Just bring the receipt & passport will be ok.
I did that for the second haul! 😂☺️☺️
I call them Russian hats too but I don’t actually know the real name 😂
The locals are looking at you like you're nuts. Walking around in 0degree weather with thongs, no hat or jacket lol
Look, we were crazy 😂😂😂
I definitely wouldn't be walking around like that. You're going to get sick.
Ah well, my decision haha
Korea 🇰🇷 is on my list when it's warm. 😂😅
You said cold haha. You should have bought padding and shoes first.
춥다고 하면서 ㅋ 패딩과 신발 먼저 사셨어야😊

Oh my gosh that is tempting 😅😂😂😂 🔥
it seems like that Myeongdong is popular among foreigners but Korean doesn't go there.
