I've watched many videos about China recently. Why do Westerners like China so much after visiting? They all have the same impression: China is clean, safe, advanced, and the people are friendly. Are Western countries not as good as they used to be?
@@sweetburger8039 Have you ever thought that maybe China is just clean, safe, advanced and has friendly people?
@@josieliftsthingsThank you for sharing the real China with us. We have had enough of Western lies.

Hello Josie! I loved your video and am so glad you got to experience the real China. We live in a world where anyone saying anything positive about China will be criticized and accused of being paid by the CCP. Yes , sense of trust is what I felt when I was there, I had the same thought as you, I asked my friend don't they need to check did I pay? He said no, it's all about trust. Of course some shop has the speaker which will notify the shopkeeper how much you have paid, but for those who are selling on a booth or market they don't have that set up. And customers come and go none stop, they don't even bother to check.

Hi,Josie, the first place in the video is the community where I was born and raised, called Yangzhong(仰忠) Community. Zhou Xin, an official in the Ming Dynasty, once lived here. He was an upright official, honest and impartial, but was eventually framed and killed. People admired his loyalty and virtue, so they renamed this street Yangzhong (which means loyalty and virtue in Chinese) Street.
Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen are China's four first-tier cities, also known as the novice villages for foreigners to travel to China. But China also has hundreds of second - and third-tier cities, each city has its own characteristics, I generally recommend foreign friends to visit the second - and third-tier cities, if you can speak Chinese, you will find great fun.
I live in Changsha, known as the entertainment capital of China. I hope the author can see my message and search for content about Changsha. I wish you a happy trip to China.

It's so refreshing to see a video like this that presents a different perspective on China, especially when much of Western media tends to portray it in a dystopian light and often antagonizes Chinese people. As someone originally from China who now lives in the United States, I really appreciate your efforts to showcase the genuine warmth and friendliness of the people. While no country is without its flaws, the kindness and hospitality shown in your videos reflect the true spirit of the Chinese people. When you go to the wholesale market to buy something, the store owner thinks you are buying a lot of goods to sell. If you want to buy one, you can go to the department store instead of the wholesale market, and if you go to a small stall, you can bargain. In addition, the essence of China lies in the food. Every place has its own characteristics. You can go to Dianping to find high-rated stores. I wish you a happy trip in China.

Thanks for showing us how everything is controlled via electronic systems and you cannot do much independently without the authorities following you remotely. Have you heard about Crowdstrike blunder that happened recently, making electronic systems unusable all across the world without IT engineers attending every single computer personally?
This is a very vulnerable way of living. No alternatives, all obeying one system controlled by the central big brother. You have seen the innocent part. Many haven't been that lucky. Frogs cooked alive slowly. Enjoy it while you can.
I have also seen some RuSSian propagandists showing us Moscow and Petersburg, how everything is shiny and in abundance. Just remote areas don't look like that, by far. And try to like on social media something in conflict with the official state propaganda. You are risking a jail sentence. China is softer, but not entirely free either. Pollution, poverty, homelessness... those things are not reflected in major cities, at least no in areas where tourists usually go.

before covid, hotel is completely open for foreign tourist, Olyimpic in 2008 confirm this.
Not all, still the same.
@@hongyuliu9173and they changed the regulations since 2008. I know cos I lived in BJ before the Olympics and it was very free with foreigners. Earlier this year when I travelled in the NW part of China I was turned down by more than one hotel.
@@aimsophie允许接纳外国人的酒店,需要去政府申请,一般档次特别低的酒店没有去申请,所以不能接待外国人。

Welcome to China again. I believe that your kindness, sincerity and friendliness will bring you a wonderful trip.❤
LOVE IT !!! more places in China please
大部分时间都在找一个假杯子,好浪费时间,并且博主多少还是带着一种偏见。比那个什么牌子好的中国产品有很多很多,去中国超市看看啊,既不会被小商人乱要价,又能一目了然中国普通人平常的购物环境。
A word of advise. Don’t give Chinese people left overs especially food. This may be considered as very disrespectful
the look on the girls’ faces when they realize it is returned food is not cool.
那只是小零食,我觉得还好,买了4个剩下3个完整的,又不是吃过的,我觉得关系不大.
I dunno. I know I would just throw the food in the bin if it is from a stranger.
Glad to see you again Josie! 😊
It's good to be back! Let's start this series 💃💃
