I just bought a Denali last week. Got it for $3k below MSRP. It's my first truck and I think it's great!! Love to drive it and am looking forward to getting off road some and riding in style when towing our camper.
I don't believe you. I've looked at stealership websites within 75 miles of me for the last month and all of them want MSRP or $1K over that. ALL of them. And GM is intentionally stifling production to keep prices inflated. There are never more than 10 available for sale within a 150 mile radius.
One awesome truck. I have had a chance to look closely and drive this truck. I was completely blown away with all the options and dash layout. I will be turning my old truck in soon and this truck is number one of my list so far. Wish they would have done away with the hood prop rod and used pressurized hydraulic cylinders instead.
And cost a freaking fortune. These cost olmost $55k and up in my state and are super rare. That way they can hike the prices even more. Have never seen one in my city. GM is dumb trying to pass these off as mini Escalades, LOL..
@@largol33t12 What? EVERY manufacturer produces the same size vehicles, in the same segment, at the same prices with Toyota taking the lead on most expensive per category. This is the market dictating. You want it to stop? Buy small vehicles only and convince people to stop buying full size trucks.
Neither. They should give you a free fillup of fuel on your first trip to the pump. Even the 4 cylinder version of this truck is a gas guzzler. 25 mpg highway with the 4 cylinder. The V6 only does 1 mpg worse so there's no reason to offer 4 cylinders at all...
Great review! I’m in the market for buying a midsize suv with some luxury, and this feels like it could be the one. What’s the asking price for this exact model?
I priced one out, sunroof & towing Didn't see 22"wheels in choice.. 20's are fine. It came to $54,600, NOT $$64K It comes with pretty much everything-------
If you can even find one. They produce very few of these to inflate the prices. Saw only one for sale within 75 miles of me for over $56k. Oh and the next trim level down still costs $50k. Keep it up GM and you'll keep going down, LMAO...

@@CarCoachReports The Canyon Denali is overpriced and too heavy. GM doesn't seem to have a clue what a small pickup is. The Canyon STARTED about the same size as an S10 and now it's so bloated and heavy that the 4 cylinder gets only 1 mpg better than the 6 cylinder, which defeats the entire point of having 4 cylinders! Will pass on GM as I have been since 2009. They're still high on their own product.
If you can even find one. That's what they sell for in my state. No wonder GM is having financial issues. They are trying to sell these and pretend they're Cadillac Escalades.
This truck is too large and too heavy. That's why even with a 4 cylinder engine, it gets only 24 mpg on the highway. That's awful for just 4 cylinders. The engine will probably last slightly less than it should because it'll be put under more stress most of its life.
I wonder if we'll even be able to get it with the strike. There are lots of secondary parts plants that have shut down already. I have multiple family members that have been laid off until the strike ends. The American auto manufacturers are backed into a corner.
@@user-uz8tj3ye9u best thing you can do is call around and secure one like the one your looking for. Good luck my order sat for over 4 months and was never accepted. That was b4 the strike
Doesn't matter. GM has been intentionally cutting down production to keep prices steep since the beginning of the year. I find it overpriced for what it offers.
Thanks!
Thank you 😊
James bond would drive this truck
Beautiful! If I was going to buy a truck this would be the one
I do like it too
Do the passengers in the back finally get ac vents? Thats been the only gripe I have from people that ride in my 2022 at4 canyon.
Not sure why you're reviewing a 2023 Canyon Denali and keep cutting to B roll of an AT4X and a pre 2023 Canyon?

I agree. This truck is very impressive.
Mid size trucks don't look so mid size anymore.

The American Denali is the best American truck! It’s for everyone and fits perfectly on any one !
The video pictures showing are OLDER CANYONS????
I appreciate the add on $$ break down.
Showing pictures of the old 2022 Canyon?
So I'm supposed to choose between beer and first aid supplies in the tailgate storage!?!?

LOVE to hear a comparrison to the Toyota 4 Runner.
As that is what I drive now.
Forerunner is a different vehicle compared to this particular truck. Go take a look at it in person and I think you’ll be very impressed.
Thank you, listen to you on David Bellevia show WBEN and whenever your on TV or radio.

Great review of this glorified Colorado. You can fit a canyon in a Colorado. But you can't fit Colorado in a Canyon😮😮

32nd thumbs up. Will pass on this. Used to be a Chevrolet guy. Now, all about Ford SD's
Understand but look at the Denali, it’s very nice
