Great job on the review. I bought a new 2024 Canyon Denali March 8th and absolutely enjoy driving this truck, I have been a Toyota Tacoma and Tundra fan for years until this year. GMC hit it out of the park with this one. I’ve put over a thousand miles on the truck so far and expect to put many more in the next few years. Thanks
Hello Paul!!! I am waiting for a 2024 Canyon Denali but I am in the same situation as you. I am going to change from a 2019 Tacoma to a 2024 Canyon Denali. It regulates the new generation of Tacoma. I did not like its design, but I have doubts about the brand change. Can you help me with your experience changing brands? I see that you really liked the Denali canyon
Does it have garage door opener? Does it have power fold mirrors.?.. …So I don’t have to get out of the truck to manually fold the mirrors in every time I put the vehicle in the garage.
I just bought one. Got delivery yesterday (5/18/2024). First of all, I traded and loaded 2019 GMC Sierra Denali, but I have to say I'm pretty disappointed in the features of my new Canyon Denali. Too many to list here, but I plan on making a video of it.
Agree, I just bought also, FOR top of the line, it's missing items that should be on the truck. Power fold mirrors.... Power sliding rear window... Driver grab bar in A pillar... Power tilt & Tele..... Lock on the console&/or glovebox... Rear folding back of seat to make a shelf.... No hitch (with a receiver) has a hitch bar but no receiver on it--- stupid.... has hole in I for a bumper-ball--- FOR A DENALI OR ANY CANYON--- STUPID!!!! OTHER THAN THAT---I like the truck... actually could of bought a LOADED Chevy Z71 for $4,000 less... this came in first... bought off the lot!!! Bed bulkhead to sides sunlite gaps.. need to seal it...
@@rich4860 I agree and would have paid a few bucks more for the features. Two more things are no front parking assist and no Home Link. Home Link came out in 1993 and the top of the line Canyon Denali doesn't have it 31 years later...? So now I have to clip my garage door opener on my sun visor like I did 25 years ago and hang a tennis ball from the garage ceiling like it was the year 2000 to know where to stop in the garage. Wow!
Good looking. The 2.7 sounds/feels underpowered...always under strain. I wonder if the Denali has more insulation in the firewall to help with engine noise.
@@thewireman134 for me, I’ve had some time with the new Colorado….maybe I’m just used to other power options/brands, but I do a lot of off-road and tow a 5000 lb boat, and I’ve not been Impressed with the output. Even maintaining highway speed while towing is hard to maintain. Even off-road in 4h , in sand and mud, it’s constantly driven at extreme throttle input to off-road comfortably. I think if you’re doing mostly city driving, which I’m sure most users only need, it’s fine. But, for the money there are better options for me.
@s.daniel9224 in sand even a raptor R could use more power... the 2.7 MAX version tows much better than even the 6.2L does speaking from experience. It's low end diesel like grunt, my usage never need to Rev the engine, all the power I need is more than adequate down low with the 430 foot pounds of torque. This isn't your typical gasser.
@s.daniel9224 my question to you is what vehicle do you need to have that gives more power? And do you always feel comfortable red lining to achieve it? Obviously there are exceptions, maybe the 3.5 ecoboost, 3.0 Duramax, or the Raptor R.
@@thewireman134 I need a truck I have confidence driving in off-road and towing. I’m used to full size trucks. I mostly use a f150 with a v8, but I’m not brand loyal or displacement loyal. I just need performance and I’m not sure these trucks are there yet, for me. My son has a new Tacoma and it’s significantly better off-road, it tows horribly. I’d like to try the new ranger raptor. It’s nice looking and I think it’s about 405hp… or, I just need to stay with full-size trucks…

Hi Paul, I have a 24 Denali on order. Have you had any issues with the soft ware or squeaky door handles as a lot of videos complain about?
What kind of mpg do you get?
I got this in my feed within the first 30 seconds of it being posted, literally just bought a GMC canyon😂
thats funny i literally just bought the denali as well but in black. so stoked
Congrats!
This is the best review I have ever seen
Does this denali have off-road suspension package? Mine didnt have it like the AT4
Not going to lie, that's a beautiful truck...
Do they come standard with HUD
I just bought a canyon elevation but it lives in the shop aincre I bought it so figured I’d upgrade
Ford man here, cannot beat the EcoBoost engines. However, with the sunroof and now a big four turbo engine, I might have to go with the GMC.
They did a great job with these, go check one out! You’ll love it

Would be great if they put v6 in it instead of a turbo charge 4 cylinder
I did a test drive of the Canyon Denali today. I am on the fence between it, the Chevy Colorado Z71, And the Badlands Bronco
Canyon Denali all day.
What did you finally choose?
Can you disengage the transfer case so it can be “flat towed” behind and Rv
Yes you can
Looks like you have some fans now! 😅
The only thing I guess that GMC should have done is the 6 cylinders instead of a TC 4 cylinders . I hate Turbo Charged engines, don't last

You meant to say it's never under strain.. what kind of vehicle are you comparing it to an Abrams tank?
