The day before yesterday, Kurie DA (one of my subscribers) asked me in a comment if I'd be down to cover "Die Anywhere Else" or "Weird Autumn" from the game Night in the Woods. I'd never heard either song more than once in my life (the last time being more than a year and a half ago), nor have I actually played the game before. But I thought that Die Anywhere Else sounded a lot like Bruce Cockburn's "Lovers in a Dangerous Time", which is cool, and figured what the hay shot =u= So I grabbed an instrumental from the only version of the song I know (Toastwaffle's cover), learned the lyrics, and recorded the whole thing that evening :P
Toastwaffle is an absolute talent for making this incredible instrumental, so be sure to send him your love, and as always give many hugs to Jastrian for mixing this cover to sound so much like Bruce Cockburn's style =u=

I think this song is about being stuck in the small town you grew up in, and not wanting to spend your whole life feeling trapped there. Small towns can sometimes feel like a cage, especially in a place where everyone knows everyone, and gossip tends to run wild throughout the town. It can really have a strong impact on your everyday life when you can't escape those people.
Sometimes you just wanna get out, and go someplace far away to be free of it all.
...And sometimes you come back to visit and just end up missing all the bass notes at your impromptu band practice.
It happens to the best of us.

Mostly cause I mostly do covers and my originals are all collabs with people, I never make stuff all on my own, so I don't really feel comfortable putting stuff out there as just "by FritzyBeat", or making any money off it, hence it all just stays on UA-cam where it was born.
If anyone I worked with on any songs on my channel WANTS to put stuff on Spotify, they are free to, but I've never gone about doing it myself.
I do feel your pain tho, I get so bummed when music I like isn't on Spotify, lol. If I ever start a new project where I do own all my own music, it'll definitely end up there.
