Weird to see people still commenting on this(and other NITW videos that are 5-6 years old), but I haven't left my mark when I finished the game 5 years ago, so I'll do that now. NITW really helped me in a... Quite dark moment of my life. I've struggled with quite a mixture of things, including being expelled from my university and having a relatable character like Mae helped me a lot with getting through decent bit of mental and physical problems back in the day. Life still isn't great, don't get me wrong, but... Well, at the end of everything, hold onto anything.
This was a game that helped me when i dropped out of college. I felt like a failure because it was hammered in my head that college was the only way to get anywhere but it wasn't for me. So when I watched Jacksepticeye play this and I watched Mae I felt seen and heard with their character.
I wanna say that Night In The Woods is one of the best games ever. From its amazing art style, to its amazing characters. This game has helped me throughout quarantine. I have played through it so many times, and I still love it. And, to be honest, I love narrating out loud. Reading the dialogue in different voices. It’s fun. And I hope anyone who comes here for some nostalgia, or just cause it’s a damn good song, I hope y’all have a wonderful day. Big. Snake
