"We are one" was a well written piece by the Jukebox. Those arrangements are big time.
Everson Martin has done great things with Alcorn I must say! Kudos to him but they were simply outmatched and overpowered by the jukebox! Excellent sound from both programs! Su is the epitome of the Swac at this moment! But Alcorn is on the rise! Much love to both schools!

SU was straight bringin it this game! Everything was just on point: song selection, arrangements, execution, power. Alcorn sound really good this year too, but the Juke jus on another level right now. Them boys tryin to ascend to the heavens lol
People don't understand the impact that the white gloves have on the performances. Even though the Dolls are a distance away, I can see every hand movement. Loves it! #oleskool #dancelinetraditions

Southern University band is a MONSTER!
Its truly pathetic that haters get a glimmer of hope from another band and all of a sudden the band blew SU out. SU is always the band to beat year in and year out. Yet on there worse year they are better than the rest.

Southern has such great song selection!
As an outsider listening to both bands, they were BOTH going tit for tat in the 5th. But Southerns music arrangements are just more technically written. BOTH bands have great strong sounds. However, Southerns arrangements are NOT to be played with !!! I don't know who's arranging music for the Jukebox, but dammit he is one hell of an arranger !!! Whoever he is, I see that Dr. Greggs legacy lives on...
basically the person directing each song in this video is the arranger for it.

I did say J State wasn't good, I've J State this year, and I promise you there are not balanced like SU, it's just an opinion, but if you listen to this full clip Alcorn sounds exceptional, but power is not as strong, as hard as the Juke is blowing the balance is impeccable, hands down.

This was a great 5th. Honestly, SU keeps getting better. The articulations were on point. And Alcorn really surprised me. They fell out in the past but I can tell that some great things are happening and they have been putting in work. Great job to both bands!
This has to be an All-Time Favorite next to 2015 ASU, Alcorn 2017, Boombox Classic 2014+17. Beyond, They Don’t Know, We Are One, and Testify!! Went straight to work on Alcorn with consistency and amazing music selection. I will always come back to this one.
I agree ALONG with FAMU 2019. The battle during the game was good. Quarters weren't competitive since FAMU had no ammunition.

Alcorn held their own, but alot of them arrangements were high schoolish. Su was just too much. The battle was really over after SU played We Are 1! Can't wait on that Boombox!

TheRoomToGrow I've always said that about that thrusting and they continue doing it and it's 2021. Some people like it but I never have it just looks nasty for women and men. Guess it's a signature move for the GG's. Anyway it is what it is I guess.

I played the saxophone trombone and Sousaphone one thing I can say is southern arrangements had no spaces in the music everything was filled in and just kept going when I heard purple rain it was over for alcorn su came to eat
