2014 was my favorite edition of the jukebox
2004 and 2005 versions were smaller but just as powerful. dont sleep on the old school

I'm an A&M Alumni. I'm so shame. A&M sounded decent, but they are not the old A&M that used to be neck and neck with Southern back in the day. All A&M had to play was Lovely Day, and it was over for most bands! Southern straight handed them they Kibbles N Bits and Iams! The Dolls took their counts back from the Divas. LOL. A&M, y'all still sound better than Alabama State and other bands, but get your act together before you can call out a band like Southern; that's just like another band calling you out with a wack ass Lovely Day. It's time to get rid of that new band director that's making the band sound like a MEAC band. A&M, you are in the SWAC, so fucking sound like it!!!!!

I respect both programs; however, there are some things that you simply should not do. For example, if you know that Southern's program is somewhat based on power alone, why would AAMU's band play IDGAF right after the Jukebox played that same song? lol.. there's a big difference in sound

Amazing how it's mostly southern fans commenting on this clip, I honestly wasn't impressed, aamu held their own and did well, most people don't seem to get this, but the sound concept that aamu goes for is drastically different from southern, power isn't their main concern, and with that in mind, they did their thing, and southern did theirs

As Bethune Cookman was in the shadows of FAMU for a long time, and are no longer that way, Alabama A&M it is no longer in the shadows of Alabama State as it relates to marching bands.
You knew this was a 1 sided battle for MMW when the Jukes used LLI's Yamahas for this battle(Probably for the last time this year) either because:
A.) The weather OR
B.) They got something BIG planned for Jackson State in 2 weeks(knowing that JSU is doing the same for SU) and they don't wanna waste their new hardware that they broke in last Saturday for Homecoming on Bama A&M.
Those are not lli Yamahas that Southern Yamahas. They got them for homecoming
Myles Daniels No, those LLI Yamahas. And I can tell they LLI's because Southern brand new Yamahas that they broke in 2 weeks ago are all chrome, not to mention both SU's snares and basses use Max Pro series heads now and SU's snares have that fife drum rope attached to the bottom rim of their snares. LLI drums, the same ones SU used in this game and for the weeks prior to Homecoming, are silky silver, with the snares still using Powerstroke 77s and the basses still using Controlled Sound heads.

Myles Daniels Those are LLI's drums. Southern has been using them since week 1. They brought out the new drums for homecoming but then went right back to LLI's drums for this game.
Who cares what brand instruments they’re using??? All that matters is the fact that they came prepared to battle! Why are you concerning yourself with irrelevant excuses. SU over AAMU any day in every area.
