Everyone thought they was going to fall off including myself but they kept a hell of a music program. The arrangements are so close to the original tell I'm looking for one of them to come out and start singing lol. Haymer, Brian and the other guy I remember his name have really made a mark in the "Jukebox" organization. I know now they next 2 decades will be filled with some outstanding music

this year 2014 was probably my favorite year, that and 2017. but 2014, those dudes was on another level even for Southern. their power was ridiculous.
2014 was something special.... But 2014-2018 was ridiculous in my opinion... Southern was just I don't know... I'm just at a lost for words... 💛💙💛💣💥💣💥💣

+bj I am an alumni of Southern University and A&M College though I never played in the marching band I did play in the Jazz Band under Harry Anderson, you are making a decision you won't regret, SU was good to me and have some wonderful people there, you are making the right choice!

The Juke embarrassed the Sun that day their talents shone so BRIGHT! And, god has blessed Misters Haymer (esp. Purple Rain 14:00), (esp. We Are One) Taylor, & Simmons (esp. Tourist) w/a lot of musical & arranger talents.

I WAS PROUD BAND MEMBER IN MEMPHIS TN I PLAYED THE PERCUSSION SECTION BUT MOSTLY CYMBALS SO THIS DO MY HEART JUSTICE I PLAYED FOR TREZEVANT HIGH SCHOOL I WAS THE ONLY BIG GIRL CYMBAL PLAYER DURING THAT TIME IF YALL WOULD LIKE TO FIND ME MY FACEBOOK NAME IS TREJURE D LOVING JOSEPH JONES
The jukebox is very talented but the fans of the box are so biased that it makes alot of neutral fans automatically not like them. Not the talented band, but THE BIASED FANS. The camera person for SU is the same, they take there time and make SU look perfect and when they shoot the other competition, they move alot, have convo's directly in the mics and the camera is never still. Im a huge band head and in my opinion SU is #1 overall but T.S.U aob has best musicality, J.s.U. is the loudest, and Bethune cookman is huge, loud and are very classy. Texas southern, I like, U.AP.B. is under rated and Alcorn is no joke!!! I have never played in a marching band only concert but, but my opinion is not biased at all. This is what I have witnessed with my own two eyes and ears. Please stop taking the fun out of band music because the competition is alot closer than you guys think!!!! Better pay more attention!!!

I look at all the bands footage, and attend all their biggest games, and I will be at the battle. Thats what I see. Sorry.
1...there are MANY people that record SU. It's not SU's fault they're VERY camera/ear friendly. 2...some fans of SU can be bias...BUT, most still try to record both bands (unlike some fan bases). A lot of times it won't seem like it, cuz they ARE fans, and might be in a more favorable position to record SU. But, they at least DO record other bands. 3...you're completely wrong about the "SU guy" (Edgar. G). He's VERY fair to the opposition. Heck, he's been posting zero/fifths dead center, or has two cameras for the zero/fifth. Halftime is a lil more detailed...but, that do to accessibility to SU on the field
