I like Maven really. I was too young to remember his wwe career, or maybe his booking wasn't that big, but anyway I really like seeing this side of him. It's nice to hear these stories and learn about the business. I've been watching him a lot recently. Really entertaining. I also heard he hated talking about wwe after he left, glad to see he embraced. Also seems quite humble.
@rightinthedome9973 What's more funny, if you play The Undertakers Dead Man Walking/You're Going To Pay video; right at the beginning when 'Taker hits Maven with the chair at the Rumble, it copies the beat of the song at the "gong" part. 😂 Man, I miss Jim Johnston. 😢
I have to agree with what you said about Pro Wrestling not being for you if you can't handle the physicality. Went to a school when I was 19, made it about a month before I woke up one morning and was so sore I couldn't get myself out of bed. Realized then that while I love Pro Wrestling, actually doing it just wasn't for me. Massive respect for those who can though, it gets rough.
It's a good thing Maven was in the wrestling business. I don't think "Co-Workers I Accidentally Hit A Little Too Hard" would be a very receptive title to HR.
Damn dude i didn't notice this until now. Not long ago you had just hit 100ksubs and now? You're almost at 400ksubs. Insane! You are making waves around here and to have it happen for you who feels like an all around genuine dude, thats the best part of it! Thanks for all your insights Maven!

It's refreshing to see someone from the wrestling world who isn't harboring bitterness or resentment towards the industry or his colleagues. Maven's positive outlook is truly a breath of fresh air amidst a landscape often marked by rivalry and jealousy among former wrestlers. Keep up the great work, Maven! Wishing you continued success and fulfillment in all your endeavors.

How is Maven not back working in some way with WWE? Even having him working on commentary in NXT or doing something in the mic would be great... The HHH Era needs to contact this man 💯
That Chair Shot Maven got from the Undertaker still is Brutal to see. But that moment when you eliminated him from the Royal Rumble was a Crazy moment for Maven.

Maven you were great to see in the wwe back during the ruthless agressio Era. You're an absolute delight today with your informative, funny, honest, and humble channel.
I really enjoy your videos! You give such an honest view of what the business is like and even though I've watched the product for 20+ years now, I'm still learning more about it because of you. I would LOVE to see you in the ring again some day.
The last two weren’t in general, it’s not like Mave did anything wrong. They’re just taking liberties with the new guy for…reasons? There’s a way to teach new guys lessons without bashing their brains in or risk snapping a vertebrae. Very glad the business is a lot different today.
16:18 / 16:49 What I remember the most about that chairshot at the Royal Rumble was 5'7" Thodore Long, still a referee at that time, trying to stop the Undertaker 🤣
Maven is making himself relevant again. The same way released talent does on the independent circuit or other promotions now with AEW and TNA and so on. I predict we see Macen back on WWE TV in some role soon
You maven, are the inspiration for a phrase ive come up with and have said many times. "Bad things happen to people when The Undertaker has a chair in his hands."
*@damonm* That chair-shot spot is in The Undertakers video, You're Going Down during the dead man walking days. The chair-shot matches the gong beat of the song. I always assumed it was a middle finger at Maven.
16:09 I'll never forget this since 'Taker was beating the crap out of you all the way up to the concession stands not to mention 'Taker threw you head-first through the glass off a popcorn machine
17:46 not sure if that was on purpose but it definitely fits in as a great joke repeating that line twice. He is basically telling us in a funny way that that chair shot did indeed have long term affects 😂 🤕
Maven. Glad to see you doing well. I remember seeing you go thru tough enough. Seeing you make your start in the biz. Love your videos. Have you and taker thought of sitting down talking shop. On either six feet under or your channel or sitting down 3 of u with Chris van vliet? Thanks for the memories. You was one of my favorites. Take care Maven
You probably hear this all the time, but you have one of the best attitudes I've ever seen regarding the business. Even though my fandom is long gone, I enjoy seeing the reminiscences of the old guys. (I was a fan from 1985-1990). Your insights are very interesting, and well-delivered. I genuinely hope things are going well for you.
Marekhealth: "Okay Mr. Huffman we've received your blood test results, and you've tested positive for... Wait, what? Multiple chair shots to the head, busted ear drums, Alabama Slams? What did you do for a living?" Maven: 😊
I'm surprised it was the Walls of Jericho that was the worst but, by your excellent description, I guessed correctly and giggled when the Bob Holly receipt came up! Again suprised it wasn't the Alabama Slam because that always looks brutal to take, but yeah even a clothesline off an angry Bob is probably rough and not "fake" . Love your descriptive diction, smooth talking and excellent explanation Maven, fast becoming a favourite channel, my man.👌
I missed some of the attitude era because of my age so i started following wrestling during the end of- and post- attitude-era. I love these videos. I really enjoy the behind the scenes look into the world of wrestling. I worked a bit in a small town wrestling group when I was 19.that time taught me something very important. There's a difference between a fan of wrestling versus a wrestler. I discovered I'm a fan. After a handful of training sessions I tapped out of the business.

I loved wrestling as a kid now i get to watch you talk about your career keep it up maven!
Maven you were great to see in the wwe back during the ruthless agressio Era. You're an absolute delight today with your informative, funny, honest, and humble channel.
Oh man, that look on Batista's face after that slap.....
Just saying, Batista literally told him to put something extra on it, then gets mad when he does. Pretty dumb on Dave, and not exactly fair to Mave.
1st time watching one of your videos & it was very entertaining to hear about you & your stories @ WWE. Keep it up 💯
Currently on nightshift and this is what I needed! Thank you Mave
I really enjoy your videos! You give such an honest view of what the business is like and even though I've watched the product for 20+ years now, I'm still learning more about it because of you. I would LOVE to see you in the ring again some day.
I'd give anything for a whole video of Maven doing impressions of industry people. He kills it everytime!
That Undertaker chair shot wasn't a Receipt, it was assault with a deadly weapon.....
😂
The last two weren’t in general, it’s not like Mave did anything wrong. They’re just taking liberties with the new guy for…reasons?
There’s a way to teach new guys lessons without bashing their brains in or risk snapping a vertebrae. Very glad the business is a lot different today.
@@b-den5019 not just the last two, it feels like more than two instances in this video were people hitting him for real to "make him learn"
@@b-den5019 yeah it was made for soft (f-word slur) like you.
16:18 / 16:49 What I remember the most about that chairshot at the Royal Rumble was 5'7" Thodore Long, still a referee at that time, trying to stop the Undertaker 🤣
I just peeped that😅😅
Maven you are killing it on UA-cam! Great content thank you from the fans!!! ❤
i swear you just cannot hate maven.
Thanks for the hilarious stories. Your humility is legendary. You nailed the Taker pretty good and it came back.
That nonchalant chair shot by Taker was crazy LOL
*@damonm* That chair-shot spot is in The Undertakers video, You're Going Down during the dead man walking days. The chair-shot matches the gong beat of the song. I always assumed it was a middle finger at Maven.
Jesus Christ Is The Only Way To Heaven Repent & Believe & Accept The Gift Of Salvation ✝️❤️🙏❤❤
Post Vince WWE needs Maven back. Be it as a backstage interviewer or could even be a good mouthpiece for new talent.
16:09 I'll never forget this since 'Taker was beating the crap out of you all the way up to the concession stands not to mention 'Taker threw you head-first through the glass off a popcorn machine
It was fake glass. Maven talked about that in the episode about wrestling secrets.
I'm pretty sure he would have been numb to everything after that chair shot.

@@Matt92Machinenot really. Those chair shots sound much worse than they feel
@@jimmycarpenter6612 You ever took one? I don't think so.

Maven: “that chairshot had no long term effects.”
Also Maven: “that chairshot had no long term effects.”
Booker T, still teaching the ropes to new talent. Gotta love the guy.
17:46 not sure if that was on purpose but it definitely fits in as a great joke repeating that line twice. He is basically telling us in a funny way that that chair shot did indeed have long term affects 😂 🤕
I cant believe you felt it nesacary to explain the joke.
@@johnnybravo9096 have an awesome day! 💪🏽
I’m a simple man… Maven drops a video, I hit like before the beginning ads even start. 🤷🏻♂️🔥
“Bob would ensure that he was going thru me night after night” - Maven Huffman
PAUSE BRUDDA 😂😂😂
That’s not pause you’re just cringe & childish
Maven had to pay his dues 😂
No diddy
😂😂😂
That chair shot had no long term effects
That chair shoy had no long term effects
What are you talking about, he said that that chair shot had no long term effects.
What did you do for a living?"
Maven: 😊
I'm surprised it was the Walls of Jericho that was the worst but, by your excellent description, I guessed correctly and giggled when the Bob Holly receipt came up! Again suprised it wasn't the Alabama Slam because that always looks brutal to take, but yeah even a clothesline off an angry Bob is probably rough and not "fake" . Love your descriptive diction, smooth talking and excellent explanation Maven, fast becoming a favourite channel, my man.👌
I love how Dave just smiles like, “oh okay; you brought a little extra pep tonight . . Hehe . . See ya soon!”
Seeing you enter the ROW 30 men Rumble was insane!
Thank you, Maven 🔥🔥🍻
Love You Maven Your an Amazing Person and a Great UA-camr. Hope You're Having a Great Day ❤
I missed some of the attitude era because of my age so i started following wrestling during the end of- and post- attitude-era. Maven never was in my list of favourite wrestlers, quite the opposite, i didnt like him. But after discovering his channel, i'm a fan now with new point of view! Much respect to you sir Maven! You seem like a great worker in the ring!
So glad you’re doing your thing Maven, I see only great things coming your way
Maven! It was so good to see you on that 30 man rumble this week. I wish you were still going. Always a fave!
Maven i love ur content,ur an amazing human being and u deserve way more! Keep it up🔥
Maven! I just saw a clip that made my Monday morning! You were back in the ring and throwing drop kicks so powerful that you came out of your shoe! Awesome!
17:46 - 😂😂 solid comedic timing on that
Man maven I never really watched wwe I just got into the video games probably a year ago and after the UA-cam algorithm led me to your channel I couldn’t have been happier! I never really watched wrestling but I could watch your videos all day! Keep it up man I hope to see you with a role back in the wwe soon! I need maven in 2k24 so bad!!!
"My least painful receipt involved my teacher busting my eardrum."
Oh this is gonna be good…
Fuck yeah maven I just saw your AEW video , that shit was absolutely gold bro them chanting you still got it gave me goose bumps , well deserved my friend your truly a legend
Someone did that walls of Jericho to me back then in school. It hurt so much, I was screaming in pain and begging the dude to stop. I also felt the point where the back can't bend any more.
My cousin did it to me. Same with the sharpshooter. Both were painful. It's kind of the reason I didn't believe the people who said wrestling was fake.
I do find it funny that The Undertaker talked big on receipts but he never really took owner ship of his mess ups
What has he done wrong? Do you know any specific moments?
@@JDC8397 his Koko pile driver wasn't great. He threatened to go outside and beat Koko up over Koko not accepting his apology
@@skateurbutt hmm. I did see him own up to that though
@@skateurbuttbecause he apologized MULTIPLE TIMES and Koko, being stubborn, wouldn’t accept it but they became cool after that encounter so it doesn’t matter
Or the tombstone on hulk hogan on that chair hurting him
Best wrestling channel on UA-cam, I’m always listening to Maven’s videos while I drive home from work.
Lol... I work overnight for an agriculture company. Maven's channel is one the channels that I listen to, in order to make the time pass, while driving a big ass truck that's towing a trailer.
@@Soon_Solstice yeah his content is easy to listen to and he has some cool stuff to say.
They made sure that Maven paid his dues and took those hits. Never will forget the bumps against Bob Holly and the Undertaker bumps.
Probably more so they were angry how he "skipped the line" by getting to WWE through Tough Enough and then not spending much time in developmental.
The walls of Jericho isn't a joke.. I've been knocked out from that position and so have friends when just trying to learn it.
When I hear receipt stories it cracks me up that in the movie “fighting with my family” Vince Vaughn’s character tells Paige “this is WWE, we don’t do the receipt stuff here”
