I know I actually have a set of jack stands but these cars are so terrible with the jacking points. It was difficult to jack it up and put the stands underneath at the same time 😭😭. Glad you asked that haha my neck was destroyed the next day and days after hahaha hard life
@@featuringkhalid You can jack up front high enough and get jack stand under the rear at the pinch weld, there are a few other safer ways too, take off a wheel and tire AT THE LEAST and slide it under the car what's more valuable a wheel or your life? That scissor jack is a definite no no. SMH

Walaikum asalaam id say it is probably one of the best mods you can do for the price. As you still have the valves in the back box its nice that you can switch it up whenever you want loud or quiet. With valves closed and motorway driving there isnt much change from stock maybe slightly louder but nothint major you would hardly notice it especially with the anti drone pipe. Best part of the res delete is definitely the dsg farts are wicked!

Walaikum asalaam the drone is not bad at all if you do get a resonator delete try and get an anti drone like the one in the video. Luckily on the R they have exhaust valves so you can make it louder and quieter as you like. Id recommend the res delete sounds much better for little money! And amazing dsg farts haha
You can put it back to standard the original resonator would need welding back on depends if you want to sell it completely stock or keep the res delete as its very common mod
It pops and crackles from factory in race mode if you get the revs right and with the res delete its pops more and is a little louder. Just make sure your car is up to temperature before revving it like crazy 🤣
I have a arm 200 cell catted dp And i did a muffler delete and kept the stock resonator , then added a very small resonator by race bullet it sounds gnarly now with no drone at all! Mashalla very nice ride brother , love the 2tep , ie doesn’t have it yet , whos ur tuner and what tune u have ?
Ive just had a look on your channel your GTI sounds epic! Love the pops and bang and the sports cats seems to have added some deeper sounds to it. Thank you 🙏🏻 🙌🏻 my car was actually tune on Integrated engineering to! Oh snap 🔥 but just a stage one. The gearbox was tuned by TVS and was a stage 2 plus map

@@daydream2818 i didnt know you can get it for stage 1 the options when buying the map said its only possible with a decat/sports cat. Both exhaust clips are just normal revs even when stock i could get it to make little pops and bangs when stationary. Check my other video of the TVS stage 2 tune it has variable launch control sounds pretty good compared to stock especially with the res delete
I bought this part from rpm performance, I used it on audi s3 and the resonance is still there and hurts your ears, and finally the seller is an idiot, a liar, once you make the purchase, he makes you wait 2 weeks before sending parts there, of poor quality because the rear hole is not open enough for fitting I do not recommend buying from rpm performance.
Your right! The rear hole was to small to fit over the stock pipe i had to hit it with a hammer to open it up abit more. Other than that the quality of it wasn’t to bad it didnt drone much for me just got a little bit more louder than normal in normal mode

@@TheUltimateDIY It’s designed to be a tight fit, because if it was loose gasses would leak. If you clean the standard pipe work up you’ll have no issues. It not designed to work with a Decat, standard system only. You’ll get drone regardless because you have a decat, you should of messaged us before purchasing and we would of advised you against it. It may be a touch louder than normal but hardly noticeable on motorway from what i can remember

I think the akrapovic come as standard without the resonator so your already there. Either way I would not touch the akra system leave it as it is!
