Eliminate Exhaust Drone!

- How I fixed G23BK swap Civic exhaust drone sound. I installed a J-pipe but didn't totally eliminated the sound. Found exhaust leak on V band flange and after leak is fixed so as the drone sound. 3" SS exhaust pipe, Vibrant resonator and Yonaka motorsports DIY 3" muffler.
Long Beach homie!!! I fly through that tunnel everyday! Love to see another local driver on my recommended!

I have the same problem in my prelude cruisin in the freeway ...usually get out with a headache i always thought about a j pipe
They work and get rid of the drone. Apparently there's some math involved to get the angle, length, and pipe size to make it perfect but I don't think it matters TOO much.
It does work and l tbh l'd didn't bother too much doing the calculations. I tried it but only have minimal effect. Not really sure if l should have put it on before the Yonaka muffler l put on but no room for it. Anyway lt was so relieved its gone. I really have no recommendation other than finding air leaks or install a resonator. It did crossed in my mind to replaced the 12" resonator w/ longer resonator but l dont want to spend any $$.
Kuya can you make me one for an rsx, god damn drone made me go back to stock muffler

I have a DC5 type R running 3 different resonators and a muffler, and I still get a bit of drone. It isn't the buzzy drone noise but around 3000rpm the entire vehicke seems to vibrate to the exhaust.
Next step for me is to try some sound deadening material and some undercoat spray

@@nme87 I know what you going thru. I still have a little bit but not enough to annoy me like before. Hope you find a cure man! I really couldn't advise much other than finding a air leaks coz that's what fixed mine, a little bit of it. Later man!
