      @@CaliToTheCrowd Well, for now, I'd like to master the frogstand to perfection. I tried to lift one knee while doing this but ended up falling down so apparently I'm not ready yet. I'm also trying to do pike push-ups, but I don't think I'm doing them right. so to sum up, I'm only at the beginning of my adventure with this and I know that it won't be short

      @@narutogaming7022 well, bcz of my shoulder injury i stopped doing it, but I started again about 2 months ago. And I'm gonna say that its REALLY hard, but after that 2 months of training it kinda seems to be achieveable. I definitely recomend to learn tuck planche, its gonna help not only with strengh but with balance control. Now is november, so on January I'm gonna I'll write how I'm doing. Hope ur not gonna stop your training and achieve it faster than me bro, I believe in you. Unfortunately I couldn't make it earlier

    I can hold a really long frog stand, but only with my inner leg on the outer tricep. Currently working to build my strength so I can do frog stands with my knees on the elbows instead and eventually get my frog to handstand!

    Nice! Love how you switched lanes for your handstand training. And also love that you didn’t “learn it in 3 days”.
    Most of us have train long and hard to learn new calisthenics skills. Thanks for your authenticity. 🙏🏽

      And yeah I find the 'learn in 24 hours' videos infuriating. Just not representative!

      But tbh some people can learn a handstand in a week or two, not all but many.

    It was 2nd nature when most of us were young with free time, now we have to find time to feel young again. 30min a day will suffice.

      I would suggest pike push ups. They mimic the pattern and allow for more weight to be distributed to the shoulders when the hips are high ua-cam.com/video/Ajna6AxQdtw/v-deo.html

    How often should i train the handstand in a week?

    • @CaliToTheCrowd
      @CaliToTheCrowd  6 місяців тому +1

      As much as possible, train the balance part of handstands every day. So what this could look like is a back to wall handstand attempt every few hours.
      The strength side of handstands (frog stand, pike push up, chest to wall handstand etc.) aim for 2-3 times per week

      I tried so many times to learn to balance from kick up and no results after so many practice. I am doing wall hand stand push ups and pike push ups beside weighted dips for shoulder strength and I think the frog stand will teach me the handstand balance. I will try your method from now on, let's see!@@CaliToTheCrowd
