I have never wanted to see an advert as much as this, Have Moog driving around explaining everything you can get and throwing it in the back before pulling up to the till like a drive-thru (to be greeted by Marty or something).

So the notice means it was tested and safe for export.

I wonder what the legality of selling stuff from there is... for years now, in the "repair and refurbish" channels, i've seen at least 3 Japan based channels (i think one's not a Japanese person, but living in Japan) that always repair tools that were clearly flooded. Now, i know there's more of Japan that got flooded, but... i always found it a bit sus.

Yes! I love the midget ii! I imported one to New Zealand a few years ago and use it as my daily :D mine is the 1998 auto van version. It took a VERY long time to find a workshop manual for it, but it's in Japanese. If you want a copy, send me a message and I'll email you a copy! :)

What was the dose rate on the rad reading? I’m genuinely curious.
I also want to know. But my best guess is that they went with "plausible deniability" ? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
As another person said in a different comment, the note most likely means that it was tested for radiation and it passed. It could be "radiation dose |was| measured" instead of meaning radiation detected. If it was my car, though, I'd definitely try to get some readings just for some peace of mind lol.

Straight up. That’s mad as all madness. The Daihatsu Midget was one of my favourite cars from the earlier gran Turismo series of games. Can’t wait to see what you do with this maaad nugget.
i had seen one of these rolling around once before around Macquire park, i spent the next 15 minutes trying to look it up and find out what it was as it was so small, super rad.
My friend from school married into money, her in-laws country estate had a bunch of Midgets for getting around the grounds and gardens, they used to hold races with the staff and send the winners on cruises or have new fitted kitchens and bathrooms for their houses as prizes, super rich people stuff. After a while it was discovered that the family and the staff had been doing minor modifications to them here and there and by the time they were replaced with Smart ForTwo's some had been given some fairly big upgrades and sounded like sports bikes and went about as fast too.
Nice makes a change I will be interested to see how this progresses.
