Jake and your lovely family, I’ve been watching you seven years now from the video “how to hatch ducklings from start to finish” and I really have to tell you how proud I am with all the things you’ve achieved!!! When I started watching you I was 14, now I’m 21 and I dream to have a farm like yours!
My husband and I close on our very first house tomorrow, And I've really taken great inspiration from the different gardening and animal care techniques you have shown on your channel. I can't wait to start growing our own little garden and keeping our backyard chickens.❤❤❤
Most milk animals don't produce that much with their first baby it's not just cows it happens with sheep and goats too! This is because they still need to fully develop their udders, second time forward is usually when you get the most milk. Making sure that they're milked out will encourage more milk making as their bodies will see the lack of milk as a need to make more for their baby and thus produce more which is what Dolly likely is used to from her old place so she'll probably keep out performing the rest until you really start milking them full time.
If your wondering how to tell Burt and Ernie apart you can tell by the faces Burt’s eyes are baby blue and Ernie’s eyes are brown or tan love the emus one of my favorites they are awesome
I can’t really tell too much, but Holiday’s hooves look a bit thrushy to me (her frog doesn’t look the healthiest/ hoof due a trim) - but, Iodine spray will help clear that up! Though it could’ve just been the dirt! 😅 it’s great to hear you’re enjoying your riding lessons!!
Not only a trim, but actually a correction. The hoof looks quite flat which long-term can provoke lameness. Get yourself a hoof care specialist or even a farrier and learn from them + online. Good luck
Jake!! Where's the pigs? I have to say I'm smitten for Sammy the Salmon Favorelle! 🥰 And pieper!! Omg so Beautiful! And of course the red golden pheasants. Your making me real interested in the button quail! Lol Your pigeons are so handsome! Just love to see how Becky lights up when she talks about her horses! What a blessing for mom! Just love seeing your farm flourish and looking forward to the aviary! You guys really have out done yourselves, and I'm so proud to say I've been here since before the begining! Lol @Whitehouseonthehill your my fave!!
Jake the farm looks fantastic! You and your family are precious and wonderful to your family and animals and your fans. Prayers for another good freeze. We are in Florissant,Colorado and we have been in 30°-40° lows in and 20° and it gets cold enough for a few days and snows usually around the weekends. Praying you get good snows and good freeze to help with the insects. Thanks for posting this can’t wait to see Aviary finished with netting, and finished touches. Take care, In Christ, Bitsy Cook
Truly enjoyed going on the farm tour with you. Your farm has grown so much over the years and is a tribute to all the love and hard work you and your family have put into it. Blessings to you all.😊
Love the farm and your family. Been watching for years now and NO video is too long!!! Thanks for the update. Looking forward to completion of the aviary.
Cool Farm tour...you have a great set up for all the animals, thanx for sharing. I can't wait to to see the aviary finished, with all the different bird species you have, enjoying the space ! Take Cared
Your farm just keeps blossoming bigger and bigger! So excited for the final stages of the aviary and to see free roaming very happy bird's in there. I hope you do get another turkey hen or two. I have a real soft spot for them. BTW, are your pig's still there?
I'm so delighted you posted today.I'm am amazed at how much your baby girl has grown. Time passes between videos and kids grow fast so it's very evident when you post. I love you guys so much. I miss the farm life but live vicariously thru your videos. I know it's alot of work - I remember it well and I miss it. Thank you for sharing with us your beautiful family and farm life. I love you guys. God bless you all.
It's nice seeing your Son helping out around your farm . Teaching his while he's young will get him ready when he's much older . I just love seeing parents having their children doing chores . Two thumbs up for this video and of course for you too 💯❤️🙏😇🙌👍👍
Thank you for the update. Always great to see one of your video's. You have come a long way and with your hard work and perseverance you can continue to grow. Blessings always
We have used Farmers Dog for months now but we don't empty the pouch into the container like that because the food stays fresher if kept in the pouch. So we store the opened pouch in the container and take out each meal from the pouch each day.
Love your family and your whole farm. So much love and concern for your animals! Looking forward to seeing the aviary completed, I think the birds will really enjoy it.
Ive also got roosters comming out ouf my ears! But ive noticed when i raise the boys by hand or in the house i mean they are super friendly and don't attack everyone like the coop birds do. Love your channel guys i try to emulate yall with your farming practice!
It depends on the area but where I am a "head collar" is actually a piece of leather meant to prevent horses from chewing wood fences. It is a halter that is used to lead an animal, including sheep, goats, and horses. It gets confusing when the word head collar is used for me. I am so glad that Mazie finally had a calf after all this time!
Good Friday evening White House On The Hill in Missouri!!! I enjoyed watching and seeing the whole family and all off the precious children, Becky, and You Jake + the outside babies!!! Good seeing 1# of my favorites God bless 🙌 each of yall!!! Take care guys!!❤❤
Love the catchup trip round your farm, it looks warm but not starting to green up yet. Hope there is not a late cold snap. I am so looking forward to seeing the aviary finished and the birds in. That pond is so great, would love to just sit there and listen to the water and watch the birds. Thanks Guys
What a beautiful tour ❤ your very own little piece of heaven 😊 I love watching your videos and love your family, keep the videos coming sure enjoy them and have learned a lot! Bless you 🐓🦃🦤🐈⬛🐈🐂🐕🐈⬛🐝🐴🦆🪿
Thanks for sharing a day in your life it’s always a joy to watch, if I may ask why don’t your harvest the rooters? I know my grandparents use to harvest the roosters they didn’t need or were problems on the farm. I just ask cuz if no one comes to take them it might be beneficial for your family to harvest them 😊 thanks again be blessed ❤
I watch Coghill farms and during the winter they put out jars of sweeten water or sugar water and I started doing that for the local bees and they suck it up, helps keep them alive. just drip jars and the bees love them. God Bless your family
Wow, I really love your farm, your children are learning valuable life lessons and their really helpful, what a wonderful life, Thank You For The Tour, I really enjoyed it, Blessings Always 😊🙏❤️
I am a fun of you and your animals. You guys have inspired me ever since l got bird. I have peafowl and chickens. I've been following you for a while now.
Thank you for the tour! That's a lot of birds! I've heard of chicken math but I guess it goes for any breed you start with lol. I'm wanting to get more chickens this spring.
Morning guys, I love your videos! Just a thought regarding waiting for warmer weather to rent equipment to do the aviary. I'd recommend if you're using heavy equipment to start now while the ground is frozen. No risk of equipment tires getting stuck in all that sloppy spring mud!! Best of luck!!
Your place looks great. I love the avery and the way you have it set up I can't wait for it to be done. God bless you all and until next time from Webb City Mo. take care.
Hello white house! Curious if y'all will be planting any flowering plants for your bees this year. They really like marigolds which are short flowers that also help keep bugs off people and are cat safe. Morning glories are not safe for cats or dogs, as their seeds are toxic, but marigolds are super safe! Wild gardening (just throwing seeds out randomly without maintaining them much and letting them grow where they land) is fun when it comes to flowers.
Your family have built a beautiful farm. I raised parrots for about 10 years. You might consider African Gray. Your children would love it when they start talking.
Love your videos. I have a few animals i look after street and around my house just wanted to say if you put 100% copper (rods , coins ext.) in the waters it helps a lot with the cleaning of the water bowls😊 cant wait to see more.
We took some bee keeping classes. I had a stone fountain that attracted hundreds of swarming bees. Never aggressive. Now, in the greenhouse, every day that has been 40*and above, they come and pollinate the trees for us! Win win 😊. You may consider some olive trees. Our citrus and olive trees bloom in January/ February. The bees have come to eat from??? every chance they get for the last 4-5 years. We’re in Utah. Yup, it’s cold!
Jake it was a lovely tour i am always jealous to see so many of them in the white house on the hill, in future i am sure that i will have at least some of the animals you got. ( Aviary) before you let any birds in make sure that you got more then enough nest boxes and few plants ☘️ and short trees 🌴 some grass. My dream is the Aviary i am sure 1 day it will come true. Peace out from London ✌🏻
Thank you for the tour! Spring can’t come soon enough, to see the aviary complete and filled up 🫶🏼 When giving the totals at the end, Joey is the partridge in a pear tree after that long list 🤣
Great Up Date Guys Loved it that's a lot of work to stay on top of things but for sure in your Vlogs you have shown the Dedication to what is needed to keep all the Birds and Animals Looking forward to the day the Big Avery Has netting and Birds in it Its Going to be Very Cool Thanks
I have a chicken with a Crosby too and luckily it isn’t that bad and it doesn’t keep growing, but it is like off-center of the bottom and she’s older and I had my first flight that I ever got and I didn’t know what to do but luckily, I found some good resources and she’s OK😊
Just want to mention, when you´re brushing the horses, start from the head and make your way to the hind legs, that way you can brush all the dirt off at once. It´s also important to brush the belly of the horse, as if it´s left dirty, it will be painful for the horse when you put the saddle on. Thanks!
If you want some bug control around the horses get muscovies! The people I got mine from kept them around horses for bug control and they said there were little to no flies around the barn.
When I first seen your video I was like they have chickens like me but then I see all your animals and I’m like oh I only have dogs cats chickens and ducks
What a farm , I just love it & all your animals y'all have everything in tip top shape , Now that's a well kept farm & family enjoyed the video keep em coming💙

@@whitehouseonthehill omg 😭❤️
That so coolllll
My favorites are the pheasants. Some people keep sweet water for the bees during cold weather.
The pheasants are so beautiful.
hello imfrom ireland and we have 150 cows and yes the cows prime milking time is from thier second and third calf
Hello, how are you? I am Hamza from Morocco. Can you provide me with a job contract on your farm?

Wait a minute.. What happened with the pigs!?? 😮🐷🐷🐷
😮😮I thought they were missing something.
Yeah same
I absolutely love seeing the whole farm! Thank you 😊
Our pleasure!

When you started working on the Aviary I was in grade 5 next month I will be in grade 8.
Time flies by quickly.
I had a crossed beak pigeon! Loved that little meanie head 😂 had to do very frequent trimming because his beak grew too fast
We Feed our pup food from We Feed Raw. Check into that. No plants in it either. ❤
Love you guys!
I like how Joey has a drive thru window. What service!
Enjoyed the tour of your farm. Its always fun.
