- This has got to be one of the coolest diy trailers I’ve ever seen. Seen at Blackstar VW Campout 2021, I had to get a short interview and walk around with owner and builder Sergio.

Ditto! Been dreaming of making a teardrop with son, and Vee Dub hooked immediately new to me ‘67 Cali … my bank account and garage is now in trouble. This is some serious metal skills and ingenuity. Heaven has been found. Great color and execution!
I saw this camper at a car show in Hemet, CA last year. Very nicely done, one of the best of all the cars and campers there.

Fabulous. My first car was a 63 Bug as a college student. I dream frequently of turning a bug into a camper in some respects the same as you have done. i've aged out but still enjoy thinking about it.

glass is not lighter than steel unless it is only 2 or 3 layers n then it would probably fracture in stress area's, I outa know I built glass hotrod bodies for years!

Looks stunning, not as lightweight as a teardrop though, so I wonder what kind of weight is sitting on the tow hitch... I'm well jealous, no wonder it's not for sale.. 😂

How is the tongue weight? The wheels look way far back of the center of gravity. Yes, he has the battery and water tank back of the wheels, but still.....
He said tongue weight wasn’t too bad due to the trailers weight
