Haha. I totally related to her reaction. So many times on here someone in the commenets will say "Drew did you know that piece of camping equipment can do (fill in the blank). Like Sheila every time I get one of those gems in the comments I am so grateful.
I would love to hear more from Sheila. She’s amazing. I love her enthusiasm and positivity. Does she have a YT Channel ? Where is she from and where has she been? I bet she has some great stories, she’s so natural. Definitely would be a great guest around the camp fire!
You can tell a lot about the person by how their dogs act. Those two dogs are pretty mellow/great/peaceful. That makes her someone I would love to sit around the campfire for a spell.
That's sort of not true about all dogs..I rescued an older staffie who loves people but would tear a dog apart if given the chance..she will need training down the road to get that out of her..
Thank you Sheila for sharing your experiences! Your enthusiasm is infectious. Drew, thank you for all of your hard work. Your channel has helped with so many decisions, always look forward to new content!
Thank you so much for your kind words. I am really grateful to hear you are enjoying this content. And yes, her enthusiasm definitely rubbed off on me when I met her. It makes you just want to get out there and live the dream.
I could never live in a small trailer, but respect and love that there are people who can. So brave and adventurous. I would love to have a teardrop for short trips though.
What a great attitude she has. This is what it’s all about it’s not being tied down to a mortgage and a life that you hate living it’s being able to live the life you really wanna live a minimum lifestyle out on the open road in a nice small camper, that doesn’t cost you an arm and a leg, it’s a simple, easy life I wouldn’t trade it for the world
of the Teardrop videos i have seen this one was amazing because its showing the trailer FULL and used not brand new and empty. dont get me wrong empty is nice to see but full shows you what someone actually has in their RV. also loved the owners energy and excitement as well as " i dont need a bathroom" thank everyone involved in making this video!!
Thankyou Sheila. What a beautifully positive spirit she is. If she wears scrubs while working, she's mostly likely in the health/medical profession. Taking a year off from that selfless, sometimes stress filled, and crucial field of work is something she probably needed to recharge her soul's life battery. Happy for her to take some me time. Fantastic segment. It was strange how large that Luna Superbowl Party TV is.
Sheila, thank you so much! And thank you PWS family for showing your appreciation and love for Sheila. If you have questions, thoughts, concerns about this trailer, please feel free to share them. You have an expert in Sheila and she would be happy to answer any of your questions. Sheila is tough. She won't be offended if you have concerns with the trailer. As much as this is a video about Sheila and her lifestyle, I also want it to be an opportunity for you to discuss this trailer in the comments.
When I met her, we talked at length about hiking. She travels from location to location hitting the top hiking trails and harder to reach destinations.
I thought this was one of the best trailer videos I’ve watched. Lots of info, honest review of the features, along with description of her lifestyle. Really sweet trailer.
Thank you, Sheila!! I came “this” close to buying a Luna this time last year, but opted for the Nucamp Tag instead. Whatever I purchased needed to fit into my garage, hence the decision to buy the Tag. I envy your lifestyle and hope to do about the same when I retire. It may not be in my Tag, but at least the Tag, for now, is getting me outside and away from home. Godspeed and be safe on the roads!! Thank you, Drew for sharing Sheila’s story!!😊
I think you made a great choice! I also have a similar video with a fellow traveler and his T@G. I am excited to publish it at some point. Both of these trailers are what I call exceptions to the rule. Basically I say stay away from anything coming out of the larger RV industry. But, over the years I have come to find that narrative doesn't apply to these two trailers.
Terrific review of the larger teardrop trailer. Sheila did an excellent presentation and tour of the trailer and gave useful advice on living the life style. Thanks Sheila.
TY! I often thought of doing this but by the time I could, my dog had problems, could not leave home. Then, I was the one. So I live vicariously and am so grateful for you sharing your story. It's really a dream come true. My sister and I had a pop-up tent after having so much fun in my dad's camper. We found the tent gave us everything we really needed--anything else is a bonus--you are so right about that! Your trailer is so nice! I love that the door keeps the rain off of you. And that you don't watch TV. That's such a wonderful big screen! LOL. Have a great life, I know you will!
Sheila you're an inspiration! What a lovely life you lead. I'm totally with you on the unsanitary toilet issue. And I wouldn't bother with the sink either. Enjoy the great outdoors with your dogs - good for you!
Thank you Sheila for taking your time in showing your trailer & sharing your knowledge with us. And thank you Drew for bringing all of the wonderful videos through the years! Have a beautiful day!! llinois, USA
What a great video! I loved her walk through of the trailer. Thank you for sharing your lifestyle with us, as well as tips that anyone can benefit from. Your doggos are wonderful too.
This interview was beautifully laid back and chock full of useful information - Thank you Sheila! Safe travels wherever you and your Doggums explore. ☮️✨
We've been waiting for you to highlight the Luna! We love ours - it's my husband, myself and our 2 Golden Retrievers that travel. Must be a Luna + Golden thing, Sheila
Sheila, love what your doing…very inspirational. I quit my job to care for my mom for 7.5 years, now I’m about ready to embark on the same journey, so the more info. I can gather the better. Good luck to you and your dogs!💕
Sheila must be going to places that have NO Bugs, because everywhere I have been there are zillions of them day and night, especially bees who invite themselves to get into everything I am trying to prepare to make a good meal! This trailer is impractical, in my point of view!!
I love watching your videos, they are so helpful and informative. Thank you, Sheila, for giving us the tour of your teardrop and your traveling lifestyle. It is quite impressive that you have taken a year off to travel around with your dogs.
I love hearing about these kinds of experiences. It puts into perspective what we value and what is actually meaningful in life. I wish you all the best! And +1 on no indoor toilets.
I have never seen the inside of these little drops! Very cute!😁 Thanks for the interesting video! I like when people who actually use the trailer give their 2 cents 👍🏽
Glad you were able to see it. I still think sometime you need to hop in one in person. Once you are in there and laying on your back, if you are like most of us, you will be really surprised how nice and roomy it feels.
As 4 the stool thing these toilets r designed to not emit odors into your space...I use my trailer toilet and I use my composting toilet in my tiny house also..u absolutely do not smell odors..
Sheila, Thanks for your story and review. I have a Bean and go on adventures with my standard poodle.{See Travels With Charley by Steinbeck} I typically go out for a few days and have my working children meet me on the weekends after I've secured the best spots. I often stay when they go home. I like your trailer jack. I also have to get the trailer backed into a garage with a really tight 90 degree turn, working alone. I have a Trailer Valet 5 which also works really well getting the trailer up an incline and over a lip on the driveway apron. Hope to meet you on the road.
As a kid we were required to read Steinbeck from time to time. I really appreciated it. But, I have never even heard of Travels with Charley. I am so glad you mentioned it.
Thank you, Sheila, for sharing. I have a question for Sheila, though, about traveling with pets. What do you do when you have to leave your vehicle/teardrop to go into a building such as a grocery store or a museum or a National Park visitor center? I am specifically wondering about heat and/or people breaking windows to “rescue” a dog. I have a teardrop and a dog, and I want to travel with him but haven’t figured out how to safely handle that when I may need to be away from the vehicle/teardrop for a longer period of time. Right now I just have him boarded, and I travel by myself on short trips, but I want to do more cross country trips and would love to have him with me. 😊
Nikki Deventhall lived in her prius for 3 years with her dog... she has YT channel as well.. when she leaves her pup, rarely, she puts a large note on window stating that her dog is ok, the AC is on, and whatever else that will allay peoples' concerns.. it asks that people not break in, and so far as I can tell she's never had a problem like that...hope this helps
Another great resource for this is Hang'n with Herky. They have done a great job of making Herky the star and showing how they travel with him in their Runaway Camper.
Hi, I am lucky and can leave my windows all the way down and neither of my dogs attempt to jump out--(been doing this for 5 years), if is too hot then do as previous reply and leave car running with AC on and a note. All very quick trips in/out.
Thanks for sharing. I spent 9 months in a truck camper when I drove border to border; coast to coast. I had a small half ton truck, with a small hardshell truck camper on it. It was very similar in size, facilities, and capabilities. There were a few advantages, such as I could cook inside, I could stand inside, and I could take a sponge bath inside. Being a small truck, it drove like a car with the smaller wheel base and was highly maneuverable. Life was generally sitting around the table, stretched out on the over cab bed. For batteries, and power, the truck battery itself provided enough power because the engine ran enough. My setup did not include the TV, or separate HVAC. The Kitchen was continuously set up. I remember pulling into a camping spot in Yellowstone, days before it closed in winter. It was only minutes to drop jacks for stability, and be enjoying a hot meal in front of warm propane heater. I guess the one big difference with the tear drop is taking the shoes off outside before you enter the bed. It looks like you also "live" outside the teardrop a little more. That involves more setup of the living room. I also like the smaller urban footprint of the truck camper, that allowed me to park in non camping areas and not attract attention.
Thank you for sharing this. I had ordered finally thought the same thing. But after poking around their website I couldn’t find the restrictions on the $10 option. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for such a great vid. You are an excellent interviewer. Very polite and informative. Sheila seems like a terrific person. Very genuine and friendly.
Sheila... you are living my dream life. One day it will be me out there adventuring. Love your little trailer!! Got me thinking tear drop now. Hope you're still boondocking with your pups 😃
That was so sweet when you showed her the light trick. What a lovely lady, I believe her that I could do it, there's a lot of people you see and you think they'll be OK until the novelty wears off, but this lady knows what she's doing, has the tent as a living room and the trailer as a bedroom/kitchen and knows how to live off grid. I think this trailer is perfect for her lifestyle!
Thie is the first video I've seen from this channel. I've really enjoyed Sheila's story and I'm in love with this setup! What a good idea....I hadn't thought of a teardrop trailer. Looks great to me and the living room ...my mind is blown! Thank you so much!
Thanks Sheila, I have a house and a tiny caravan and find it hard to leave the house. Love your enthusiasm (and your dogs). I like being all inside, for weather and safety reasons, I wish you well on your travels.
I loved her reaction when you helped her with the light. You are always helping Drew! Thanks for the content.
RTFM
Haha. I totally related to her reaction. So many times on here someone in the commenets will say "Drew did you know that piece of camping equipment can do (fill in the blank). Like Sheila every time I get one of those gems in the comments I am so grateful.
That was pure unadulterated joy!
I loved her reaction too😮😅😂
I had to play it again, bc it was so adorable.
Thanks Sheila! I appreciate your transparent honesty, frank comments, and absolute JOY!
I would love to hear more from Sheila. She’s amazing. I love her enthusiasm and positivity. Does she have a YT Channel ? Where is she from and where has she been? I bet she has some great stories, she’s so natural. Definitely would be a great guest around the camp fire!
Agree!
Me too
Agreed!
Me four
Agreed
You can tell a lot about the person by how their dogs act. Those two dogs are pretty mellow/great/peaceful. That makes her someone I would love to sit around the campfire for a spell.
Good observation. And I agree, sitting around a campfire with Sheila would be great.
I agree
I have to disagree. Our 2 dogs are complete opposite of each other. lol 🤷♀️
Uh oh! My little doggie loves protecting his backyard. He gets a little nutty.

I could never live in a small trailer, but respect and love that there are people who can. So brave and adventurous. I would love to have a teardrop for short trips though.
I think many people would feel like you. A teardrop is a great short trip trailer as well.
Me too!
This is not exactly a small trailer. Look at all the equipment, supplies, and wardrobe she's hauling along.
What a great attitude she has. This is what it’s all about it’s not being tied down to a mortgage and a life that you hate living it’s being able to live the life you really wanna live a minimum lifestyle out on the open road in a nice small camper, that doesn’t cost you an arm and a leg, it’s a simple, easy life I wouldn’t trade it for the world
What an awesome lady. She has the best attitude. You can tell she truly enjoys her "home". Love that.
of the Teardrop videos i have seen this one was amazing because its showing the trailer FULL and used not brand new and empty. dont get me wrong empty is nice to see but full shows you what someone actually has in their RV. also loved the owners energy and excitement as well as " i dont need a bathroom" thank everyone involved in making this video!!
What a lovely woman with her 2 adorable loving dogs. Her attention to her dogs comfort says everything about her.
Thankyou Sheila. What a beautifully positive spirit she is. If she wears scrubs while working, she's mostly likely in the health/medical profession. The tv was the size that the side window should have been 😆
The light trick! The joy on her face lol. Love it.
The simple things in life - 🩷😇🩵
I like that model better than others that I’ve seen.
Her expression at the end is priceless, she is truly enjoying her travels.
10:06 love to see you teaching owners about their trailer they already own. The power of this channel
I love her vibe. She oozes chill/ happy/ simplicity mixed with order/ structure/ and planning. Opposites combined perfectly.
You can tell from her perpetual smile how much she is loving her life. Makes me feel good. Thanks.

What does Sheila do for fun??? Looks so adventurous.
60% price increase in just 4 years!🤣
When I met her, we talked at length about hiking. She travels from location to location hitting the top hiking trails and harder to reach destinations.
I thought this was one of the best trailer videos I’ve watched. Lots of info, honest review of the features, along with description of her lifestyle. Really sweet trailer.
Thank you for sharing. I’m 68 and would love to have my own camper so I could go on adventures.
Shiela you are living the best life. Love your dogs and your wonderful tour. 💕
Agreed!

Soo happy you have dogs! Can save your life!
Thanks Sheila, you're a delight. Love the doggies!

I have a 5" wide T@G Boondock that I love, and it fits into a 10X20 storage unit with some space left over. 🌄
Terrific review of the larger teardrop trailer. Sheila did an excellent presentation and tour of the trailer and gave useful advice on living the life style. Thanks Sheila.
Agreed! I was so thankful to run into Sheila this summer.

Thank you Sheila for taking your time in showing your trailer & sharing your knowledge with us. And thank you Drew for bringing all of the wonderful videos through the years! Have a beautiful day!! llinois, USA
Thanks Larry. I really appreciate the kind words.
i like the tv size in there, nice mobile movie theatre for the crappy days, or computer monitor, xbox monitor etc.
Huge! She doesn't even use it.
What a great story and example of how to keep things simple. I really appreciated her passion and directness.
Yes thank you Sheila, for sharing your story. Those little mini trailers are awesome.
Livin the dream with her pups! Love it💚💚💚
Thank you Shelia for sharing a piece of your life with us.

Hope. I love it! That is what I was wanting people to take away from this. If someone can do it with 2 dogs. I think anyone can do this.
@@PlayingwithSticks agreed!
Enjoyed your enthusiasm

It's across all of North America. I've used the locations in Ontario with my Black membership.

Thank you, at 74 I would have loved this in my younger years!
Thank you for your tour, Sheila.
Green lights all the way!
Such an AMAZING lifestyle! Downsized. Simple, less stress, more freedom.
Sheila is great, lovely set up that works for her. I hope she continues to enjoy her experiences and lives her best life.
I absolutely looooove Sheila and her beautiful adorable dogs. I can easily pull that thing with my Qx56😊😊
