Every time the angels are in a cinematic they look amazing and then get immediately rekt. Imperius is like the coolest looking angel... gets rekt by tyreal and then AGAIN rekt by Diablo in the same game. Inarius? Rekt by Lilith. I feel like they try to make them badass, and then literally never give us a badass scene with them.
And this is exactly why you read history books, my friends, so that messianic complex drains out of your system BEFORE you do something dumb that never worked before. DIablo 1 happened like, 40 years ago or so within the world, it's plenty of time to recollect the events and have fresh enough memories of them from first-hand participants to know better and learn from ignorance of the past to not repeat it.
I like stories. I think it's the most important thing, more important than graphics and gameplay. Which is why I find it unfortunate that in all the Diablo games, the story has never been about the hero. They can tell the most epic stories and I'd still feel detached from them because they don't concern 'me'. I'm just the guy/girl who just happened to decide to fight, meet all these incredible characters, and win the day. Rinse and repeat.
its so fucking good how mephisto is the most "deal" kind demon.. but he is also the most brutal.. cuz he is the one fucking up everything from the first game from the shadows and he is acting how demons should act.. "i lose? nah, i respawn.. and the poor bastard carrying my key stoy will help me to rebirth.. after that i take his body resurect and release my other bothers" he just dont need to speed up things he will fuck up everything around him slowly.. love the acting and cgi job on the caracter.. looks fucking real
I've noticed that throughout the diablo games the characters you play as are getting weaker. Sure, we are "beating" the lords of hell but think about the enemies in diablo 1, and then the beginning enemies in Diablo 2 being the little imp fuckers. Diablo 3, those imps are like near end game enemies on the battlefields of hell and are fucking you up. Now i've yet to play diablo 4 but I get the feeling things don't exactly go well even when you "win", just like how Deckard dies and his niece gets overtaken. The main heroes, the Nephelim, and even the angels. They are all getting weaker as evil gets stronger over time.
No we got much more powerful between D2 and D3 in canon thanks to the destruction of the world stone. It is implied something happened that lowered our power after D3 when heaven sealed itself from us. Which is why we went from beating a half backed prime in d1, beating a fully restored prime in d2 to beating the combination of all the primes in d3. Which is nothing compared to full power Nephilim which only really have existed once and could remove all angles and demons from sanctuary in a display of power.
I haven't played this so, could someone explain why Mephs soulstone is back? You destroy it at the hellforge in D2..... It's literally the only one you specifically destroy too.
They need to return Lilith as the final before the merged Prime evils and the merged angels have the final confrontation. Have her have a hand in sanctuary redemption and perhaps she is what does her father final showdown
Its about time Mephisto got some shine. Why his brothers have got it previously. He's probably the most cunning out of the primes and lesser evils. After all he's the one that confronts the Angiris Council after the conclusion of the sin wars an agrees to the pact that hell or heaven would not meddle in Nephalam affairs and it was only tyraels wisdom that saw through what the burning hells were really up to on sanctuary.

If only Diablo 4 was as good as the cinematics! Such a shame.
never playedf any diablo game. but the cinematics are always stunning.
3:27 is that the same eprsom singing from halo 3 odst?
No, but they tried ti emulate It.
What was the point of inarius godly entry for like bruhh came in like a god and died like a literal NPC such a disappointment from there writing 😢
Bro is she getting the obito treatment when the 10 tails was ripping him apart
Damn, wish the game was the same amount of good as these cutscenes are.
"Don't you guys have a phone ????"
The stone was destroyed in D2 in hellforge
The one in this game was a newly forged one created from the fragments of the previous stone.
Man I really liked the story but blizzard just kept screwing the game up over n over on release.
damn this CGI are so realistic
So the heavens are as evil as hell.. that's all I've gathered from this game
Incredible job, both animators and dubbers. Wow, just wow. Blizz should just produce animated movies
10:45 Not even "the power of many" could save her.
How masterclass is this music...
That graphic in first scene is crazy
That water mark is bold
Watched this high for the first time and boy let me tell you
its so fucking good how mephisto is the most "deal" kind demon.. but he is also the most brutal.. cuz he is the one fucking up everything from the first game from the shadows and he is acting how demons should act.. "i lose? nah, i respawn.. and the poor bastard carrying my key stoy will help me to rebirth.. after that i take his body resurect and release my other bothers" he just dont need to speed up things he will fuck up everything around him slowly..
love the acting and cgi job on the caracter.. looks fucking real
The music is so good.
If only the game was 1% as good as the cinematics ...
Guess its almost time to move from Hollywood to game cinematic ))) they are becoming better and better at their job
Imagine watching a hero do the Diablo campaign and think "yeah, i know better, lemme handle the spooky rock"
This is how cinematics should look like - this is why I loved Blizzard, and now they became lazy with many "cinematics" on the game engine.
Evil never wins except at the beginning, and in the end good wins and evil is crushed
diablo cinematics are epic
"Aaand she stole the stone" 😮💨😮💨😮💨
i fucking love diablo cinematics
I haven't played this so, could someone explain why Mephs soulstone is back? You destroy it at the hellforge in D2..... It's literally the only one you specifically destroy too.
Money.
Great voice acting
Tyrael really slaps in this one.
If only their games were even nearly as good as their cinematic. This alone would make me go “Oo that looks good” and then one minute of looking at the actual game makes me turn away and not look back. How can this be so good and the game be so god damn bad. Unreal where the priorities lie. Goes to show visuals aren’t everything. Straight up feels and looks like a love death robots episode tbh
Never, i dont give a fuck who differs. You will not pass Diablo 2. If Blizzard went to films? It better fucking be after we get the rest of the originals. 1. DOOM is back
2. DIABLO at its roots
Where the fuck are these two
3. Quake
4. Unreal Tournament
so the arms-splitting scene is cut off.
Diablo & diablo 2 >
inarius sold bro, if he just supported his army at the outset of the battle instead of chasing after lilith he could have had their support in return
when youre rooting for mephisto just to shut her up
Does anyone know the voice behind the singing in 3:19? She sounds like the voice that did that song that played during the ODST Funeral.
Bald lady had them hyped!
Introduce inarius in the most badass possible way
Then kill him
Great job 😬
Anyone know why the last video looks like they ran out of time? it clashes with the rest of it.
Because its an in-engine cutscene, one of many in the game. The others are fully rendered CGI.
@@EnderSwagger Ah thank you! It really shows, must cost a lot less.
@@harveyaku1692 Its also for the sake of consistency, it would be really jarring if the game broke into a fully CG rendered cutscene every time two characters had a conversation separate to gameplay
oh man, this looks so real
