Great video! Captured all the steps needed. Thx
Awesome! It’s such a nice feeling having a issue with something, replace it and then everything goes back to normal
Thank you for the video, and thank you to others for your questions/comments... I hope this fixes my issue!! Awesome detail!
Hey Pedro, thank you so much! Just bought a 1995 Honda Magna with the same issue. Ordered the part and you showed me how to install it. Thanks again.
Terrific video Pedro ... just what I needed ...going to give it a try!
I don't need the info right now, BUT now I know about it when I do. Thanky!!!!
That was precisely what I needed to know. Thank you so much!
The little bee 🐝 is your co-host! Great, thorough and very informative video.
Mina Tavera hi mini
Good job my friend. Helps a lot. Thank you
I wanted to put some new grips on my Honda Shadow Aero , I could not get the throttle grip off and the new one on because I could not get cables loose enough to release them. After looking at your video I know how . Thank you
Very helpful! Thanks Pedro!
Thank you very much for this video! It was really helpful to me when I had to do the same on my 2000 VT1100C2 Sabre. The wires don't run to the headlight housing on mine, they go under the tank in a plastic housing for connections, but the handlebar part was similar and your video helped me a lot! :-)
HELP. I have a 2001 VT1100 Shadow Spirit. Like yours, wires run under the tank. The problem I have is reloading the tension spring behind the throttle cable assembly. Did you try to spin the spring three times or more then get it back in position.
Good video -- helpful -- thanks!
very good video, thanks for posting.
Jamie Futera You’re welcome, I’m glad I helped out.
Good information, I own a Shadow Spirit VT 1100. 👍🏍

By far one of the most informative videos on the subject. I am so glad I found this! Thank you!
Sean Webb You are welcome, I’m glad I was of a help.
Yessir Two thumbs up!!
💪💪💪🔥🔥
Thanks dude!
xuxtor you’re welcome 😄
What are the color wires for the start button. My wires were off before I open the right hand control
Did it crank?
So when u put the nut for the throttle back was there anything special u had to do ?
marco juarez you might have to re adjust the position of the nut so there is not so much slack in the throttle.
Brother need your help !!! I replaced my start /stop switch also my spring popped off also !! I put it back on but cables are way to loose!!! Is there a specific way the spring goes back on please need your help !!!!

Where did you order it from specifically?
Tim Blackburn I ordered the part from 2wheelpros.com in oem parts. Here is the url if you need it.

So was it the switch or the throttle drum adjustment?
This video is for the switch to start the motorcycle that I replaced. At the time I did not know about throttle adjustment.
@@walman89 I’m havin the same issue with my 99 Shadow and was hoping this could be the case
Instead of replacing the whole system I just want to take the black button out and check the connection has anyone done this cheap method and did it work?
Why didn't you show taking the cables off and putting back together.
why didn't you just clean the oem switch? you just clean the the headlight and starter tab use electric grease and re-assemble. No need to buy a new switch.
Destiny Davis Yes you are correct. I did clean the switch even before the video. My real problem was actually a corroded wire connection inside of the headlight. Check the wiring first, Lesson learned.
@@walman89Hello Pedro, I have a 2007 Honda Shadow 600 with exactly the same problem, after buying a new battery and cell, and after disassembling and cleaning the started switching and seeing that it did not work. get it by ordering it new, I'm just waiting for the part, thank you very much for your video it will be of great help to me
