You are using 1/4 staples that's why you don't see a difference. Try using much longer staples and then you'll notice it.
ie: you're not going to use 1/4 for wire as that will pinch the wire too deep.
I just unboxed mine. Loaded it. It makes all the sounds but no staples will come out. What could be wrong?
It could be jammed, a bad staple. You're pressing it against something to test it, correct?
