They must have the wire for the propellers going over the engine room some how. Being in the US I just completed stage 102 I'm storing the engine inside the ship except when I add the final pieces of the hull. I keep the wire underneath the whole assembly. once I get to stage 117 and 118 I'm going to see if I can still keep the wire like that. The wires are not straight enough to be around moving parts.
Splendid foursome of videos John, and i hope you and fam are well? Going back to the prop shafts the centre one is only in temporary as it will need to be adjusted, just thought i would remind peep's, but enjoyed watching you in the month ahead John of me lol😅 Everything on mine is working fine too as i just finshed 113-116, but she is looking fabulous and i think everyone who owns this build should be proud of their achievements, i know some are upgrading, some are not, and anyhow mods can be down if you wish at anytime with Titanic, but i have Glued and Glazed my windows. Tell me if you know John, its going to be low light in engine room i presume because of bulkheads? Thanks mate. ✅👏🍻
Thanks, Phil. We are good, thanks. Yes it will be less light in the engine room. Thanks for mentioning the centre prop. Mods are a personal choice, but the basic model will look superb anyway. Take care, 👍
Looks fabulous. I wont have to worry about the valves on top of the engines since I knocked mine off by accident. Me and sticky up parts never work out.
A little bit closer. "By, she's a 'big 'un'" as my grandma would have said, lol! Is there a reason the ship won't be able to go on its stand with the PCB installed? I must add: I've not started my build yet. It's going to be my first 'post retirement' project, in March next year. (I miscalculated when the build would end. I thought it was November(ish) 2025). 🙄
Thanks, Dave. It was just for the extra part on the new bracket, which gives more support for the forward decks, I assume. It will all be connected soon after the next 4 issues, hopefully. 👍😊

The wiring will be dressed later in the build, I am sure, as everything is thought of in advance, so don't worry about it. 😊
My Dad built this model many years ago (took him 18th months) for my son and it now sits in his home. It's a shame I can't post a photo.
You have a lucky son and a great Dad. 👍
@@JohnsModelmaking my Dad was a woodworking teacher passed away 4 years ago but it's lovely to see his work in my sons home

Thanks, Steve. The connections could get damaged due to the ship repeatedly being taken off, I suppose. 👍
@@JohnsModelmaking Ahh, I see. A good idea to leave it out then. 👍
Excellent build John looking fantastic 👏
Thanks Rod 😊
great build John i cant see why we have to take the bracket off and move it when we could have still used it for that support, great video
